Kasha appears to have some sort of mild skin rash, and her eyes are red. While nothing serious, it's more like a mild allergic reaction to the spores. As you examine her, she stares are you dumbly, not too much unlike Stimpy.
"Uhhh, I think she'll be fine... I think..." Doc replied quietly to Daewen
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daewen circles around the “shelter”, curious as to what it’s doing here, apparently “uninhabited.” Continually swiveling, looking inwards towards the building, and outwards toward the area around the building. Wary that this is a trap, she nervously continues her inspection (Perception: 8).
Strange. This home appears deserted. Like on the paths that took you here, random useless items like tattered clothes and bones are thrown everywhere around here, as if a fight ensued. However, there is nothing of value. Just evidence of a fight that took place here. This place appeared unused and deserted.
"Just the spores, I guess? I surprise myself every day with what I don't know about myself. Did you know I love to dance? No, but you know what bothers me? The fact that they don't have peanut butter and jelly in the same jar! You know? Like, when I want a PB&J? I can't be opening and closing all kinds of jars! Using - who KNOWS how many knives!" she huffed at the notion.
Mock, while usually falling into a place near the back of the group, has drifted back even further than usual. Completely entranced with their surroundings. Eyes wide, toes right up to the edge of the path, she keeps stopping to look at some new thing before realizing the group has kept moving along and dashing to catch up with them. She catches back up with them proper at the mushroom house, a small noise of surprise escaping her as she sees it.
"Hells, Fortune, you'd've loved this place..." she whispers as her head swivels around, peering through to the mushroom house proper. Bouncing on her toes, tail flailing excitedly, her hand doesn't even go near her weapons as she looks around.
Wait, the group's moving again. With a huffed Infernal curse, Mock rushes to catch back up.
Zhisshikassa remains silent near the center of the group, fully aware of the dangers in an unknown area. After all, these people would act as fine buffers between him and the dangers of the outside world. At least, that was their use to him. His snout curls further in a sneer at the scent of the place. What a horrible time to be able to taste the air.
"Well, this doesn't make any sense, why is there no one here? Where is everyone? What kind of fungal forest is this?!"she said, getting loudly with each statement or question.
Zhi takes a longer look at the fungal nature of the forest and narrows his reptilian eyes. In his studies, would Zhi know anything helpful about these forests? Are they natural? Dangerous in any way?
"I can speak with one of the bodies left atop the mushrooms," Zhi offers in hopes of figuring out what exactly happened. He gives a stare and waves a hand. "I'm obviously not fetching them myself."
"Use your rope trick to get one down if you want to talk to it so badly...."Arora was a bit fed up with Zhi and his 'you served your purpose' crap... she was irritated and sweaty and wanted to keep moving. she looks back at him "If you're going to chat with it, then hurry up.... we need to keep moving"

Zhi gives Arora an imperial glare and somewhat puffs up at the tone, apparently appalled by the 'disrespect'. He clicks his forked tongue. "Fine," is all he says, turning his chin in the air. "I will have to do everything myself. As usual."
He removes a length of coil from his bag and clicks a finger. The rope flies in the air as per the rope trick spell at the base of one of the mushrooms mentioned in this post as Zhi scours for any suitable remains - or, at the least, a single skull to speak with. Perhaps the living would be more open to conversation. Zhi certainly knew they tolerated him more than the living. Perhaps he should work on his manners...but, much like dragons, holding grudges and petty behavior is intrinsic to his kin.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daewen ponders for a moment...Why in the nine hells does Zhisshikassa always want to speak with the departed? Doesn't he know that their souls have already left this plane, to be judged by the Raven Queen? He must be into necrophilism or something. Mortal Aethen are so weird.
While Zhi puts the brakes on the group's forward motion so he can chat with the scattered bones, Daewen spends some time doubling back on their route, making sure that they're not being followed (Perception: 7). She still manages to plug her nose to prevent breathing in the spores and the disgusting aroma of this place.
Zhi descends the rope after a few moments of looking, a disgusted expression on his face as he prestidigitates his robes and hands clean. He snaps his clawed fingers and the rope collapses into his bag. He casts a pointed look towards Aurora. “Nothing usable, unless you permit me to raise another servant. Perhaps it will actually perform its purpose without question,” he calmly remarks, staring directly at Doc. Whether it is a challenging glance or one seeking permission is difficult to tell. Zhi’s features rarely change unless he is indignant or grumpy. Which, to be fair, is most of the time.

"If there's nothing down there Zhi, then get back up here."Doc replied calmly to the Wizard; he did not have the energy to bicker with him at the moment. Then turning to the seemingly empty homestead, Doc pondered for a long moment before deciding to take a chance and step forward. Once he was at the makeshift fence, he called out loudly, "Hello? Anyone in there?" and waited for a reply...
If after a minute or so, there is still no reply or hint of movement, Doc will tentatively move forward and approach the door; making sure to carefully watch for any sign of movement, danger or traps.
Zhi smiles. It was permission enough. He returns to the pile of bones and begins rasping out another incantation - hands casting glyphs in the air, over the course of one minute, the bones crack, coalesce and shamble of their own accord, forming an atrocious, humanoid skeleton which promptly stands at Zhi’s side as a form of guard. He smiles fondly at his creation - the Yuan-Ti are proud of their dark, necromantic arts. Now with an unquestionably faithful guard to aid him (and, more importantly, carry around his bags), Zhi follows after the party with no further complaints.
Raza nearly chokes at the abomination that Zhi has just created. "Wha? What are you doing!? That's sacrilegious! It's wrong! It must be destroyed!" She pulls out her rapier, intent on eradicating this violation of nature.
A flash of irritation crosses Zhi’s crimson eyes. He turns around, arms crossed, and stares directly at Raza. “Why? It’s useful. I thought our mission was to eliminate the Drow. This aids in that goal,” Zhi plainly responds - it’s clear he doesn’t believe what he did was ‘wrong’. In fact, it’s questionable whether Zhi has any fundamental grasps on morals. The footnote in Zhi’s profile stated ‘fails to understand emotions or morals’, after all. He impatiently sighs and rolls his eyes. ”Would a demon be preferable?”
