Raza ducks as the lightning crackles towards her but it manages to catch her a cross the shoulder. She lets out a grunt and throws her dagger at crow2.

Mock pauses for a second as two big lightning crows come flying in. But, well, an enemy's an enemy - and this one just hit her with lightning. So she lunges forward and attacks Crow 2 in response.
The Bell Tower is clear of enemies! For your brave and valiant efforts, you all level up to 2! It's time to head back down so the villagers can put out the fire! Proceed to the Cathedral once more.
Daewen chooses to remain obscure and secretive, being the special forces soldier she is, so she looks for a back way out of the tower in order to return back to the Cathedral.

Arora follows the group back down to the cathedral, the thoughts of the evening whirling about in her head. Once at the main floor of the cathedral, she tries her best to blend back in with the crowd and villagers that are there. She moves to the back of the cathedral and makes her best effort to be stealthy and hide in any shadows around as the service hopefully continues without interruption (third times a charm, right).

Nephvir moves back down the stairs, reversing his path. He takes up position in the back right of the cathedral, near the stairs going down to 12. Rapier and dagger are away, he pulls his hood up, tries to join the others and mingle in, assisting in putting out any flames but all the while keeping his eye on the stairs down and the last site where Juriendor descended.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Neph, as you approach the stairs at AREA 12, two acolytes emerge from there, coming up. They look battered and bruised, and they stumble towards you.
"The crypt, the dead that dwell there..they have always protected our cathedral. They have been turned, made to rise up against us! Can the gods have forsaken us?" The other acolyte tries to calm down his brother, speaking in hushed tones. "We became separated from High Priest Juriendor. He pushed ahead, searching for the Moonshard. We were..set upon by the dead of the crypt and now I fear we may never see Juriendor alive again - he disappeared into the darkness. Please, go in search of him! Our magic is spent and all we can do now is pray to our god to save us all from this evil!"
Outside, battle rages against the undead. The village guards seem prepared, forming a circle around the cathedral, but now skeletons have appeared to bolster the attack and occasionally slip through the gaps - they begin to enter the cathedral. The acolyte continues, "My friends, go to Juriendor's aid below. We have our maces and have trained in hand-to-hand combat. There are just a couple of undead here, but many more in the crypt below! Please, hurry!"
After finding her dagger amid the the black feathers all over the floor Raza hurries down the stairs to follow the others. Back in the cathedral she finds Mock and Kasha, waiting with them, she is feeling on edge and apparently for good reason. Hearing the acolytes and seeing more undead abominations, she rushes to the stairs, her outrage plain on her face.
Curses, Daewen thinks to herself. These abominations are a threat to my Queen, for they upset the precarious flow of things. It is not right that their souls and bodies should be parted like this. And from what that acolyte said, these undead were once peaceful students of the gods.
It’s not right. But I will make things right, my Queen. I will.
Nephvir sends a message to each member of the team, saying “We are needed below, more undead, need to find Juriendor. Meet at the stairs.”
He turns to the acolytes and says “We will seek him, if you will protect the cathedral from what is outside. What else lies below?” After he hears his answer he says “Quickly, go now!”

There's a new mark on her arm from the lightning, and Mock prods at it with a finger. That's an injury that never gets less strange, no matter how often she's actually gotten hit with that kind of attack. As Raza approaches, she flicks the tip of her tail against the other tiefling's, just as a sort of quiet reassurance.
"Aaaaand we're back to zombies," she mutters under her breath as the acolyte hurriedly explains the situation. She rolls her shoulders and takes a deep breath. Then she notices that Raza has already plunged forward. Letting out a loud swear, Mock rushes after her. No use in letting her friends run headlong into danger alone, after all.
Arora had just moved to the shadows near Nephvir and overheard the acolytes worried voices as they spoke with him. Undead... oh, I do hate those things. Seeing the others already jumping into action, she moves over to Zhi “Come on Zhi, you’re needed again” she says as she swishes past him and down the stairs following the others.
