Herbert will wait out of sight for sounds of fighting. Perception: 6
((How much would Orin and Herbert have been able to see? Osborn nod at the hiding bandit or not?))
Herbert whispers to Orin "Makes me a little nervous we can't see them anymore... I could cast invisibility one more time, what do you think. Wait it out for a bit longer?"

Seeing the bandit sidestep a trap, Gromedark will use his thieves' tools to try and disarm the trap.
Thieves' Tools (Sleight of Hand?, they're the same): 14
Spending only enough time for one attempt before quickly following Osborn and the bandit guide.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Osborn looks at the bandit who led him here and raises his eyebrows as if to say "well, tell him".
'This'he thinks to himself 'is either going to be an unexpected success or an interesting story for my killer to tell his friends. Maybe I should have planned this with my new friends before forging ahead'
"Mr Sayseir," the bandit says, "you wanted to see me?" the bandit says, "I didn't ask for anyone!" The leader snaps, "I cannot be disturbed while I am working on the ritual."
Osborn feigns surprise, as if his escort has misunderstood him "I never said you were summoned! I said you'd messed up!" he looks to Sayseir apologetically and shrugs as if to say "Look at what I'm dealing with here", then back to the bandit, grabbing his crystal and saying (casting suggestion) "Why don't you just run back to the Breibury Docks without stopping"
(DC14 WIS save for the bandit or else off he goes. I'm hoping that this will remove one enemy from the equation, maybe even earn some favour with Sayseir. At the least it might be a distraction to allow Osborn and Gromey to attack with advantage?)

Gromedark mistakes Osborn's spell for some sort of signal and will surprise attack Sayseir using his Assassinate feature.
(Initiative: 24 if/when needed?)

"I mean if your that worried I am more than happy to go now" Orin grips his maul and readies himself to launch at the bandit that believes he is hiding.

Herbert;
He hears noises that set him on edge and notices Orin's face break out in a giant grin as he begins to march forward. Quickly he closes his eyes, points his staff down the tunnel towards the hidden bandit and casts sleep (as a level 1 spell).
Sleep hit points: 25
"Orin, mate, he might be asleep when you get there, just carry on on batter the next thing you see if the bandit is".

(ooc: just realized I didn't add my bugbear's racial surprise attack damage, it would be 8 piercing damage more to Sayseir.)

The trap is a tripwire that leads to a vile of acid dropping on someone. Gromedark easily cuts the wire.
Both of these go around the corner. The only thing Herbert could hear is muffled talking of a voice you haven't hear before.
