Sagin nods in agreement. He has already expressed his reasoning for sticking with the group and nothing has changed since then. Aleyd: "Black Fist duties call, so I may be a little late. I'll show up for tea. Keep the door unlocked until I arrive."
Moneus: "A portion of the Welcomers are unhappy with CRAP after the graveyard stash was moved. I best keep away from you for some time."
Dornal: "As long as you are offering dinner, I am happy to show up after sundown. Bring drink too. Kegs worth. And some for you too."
Seranolla: "I am away from Phan on previously agreed duties. If you can keep the conversation going magically, I can answer some questions."
Crap arrives at the Leadstopper House as the sun reaches its zenith. Construction is well underway and the laborer crew seems to just be starting their mid-day break. Are you comfortable having them around for the meetings or will you give them the rest of the day off? You have several hours to spare until the first invitee arrives.
Doozey looks at the work taking place and couldn't help but grimace. "Right... this might pose a problem." He whispers at least loud enough for a shoulder perching Taters to overhear. To which, the winged rabbit simply nodded sagely before side-eyeing the kobold. Even with the crew being given the freedom to depart early for the day, the halfling's concern look would not fade.
Following a sigh and Utar clear the air on things, he finally looks up to the party and say, "By all accounts we got a bit of time our side then? Time enough for a bit of shopping at least. Grab them kegs 'n maybe see if our pawn shop friend perhaps has anything new that might peek some interest. That, and uh... hm..." He looks to the Leadstopper home. "Think we may need to find a place for our kobold friend to stay until the place is truly done 'n all."

Recognizing the homeowners, the workers gladly do as suggested and begin to wrap up their duties for the day. Graxx gets a few thankful pats on the shoulder as the workers make their way out of the construction site. A few other workers can't help but send Sagin an awkward look here ant there. Some kobold groups have been known to assimilate into city-life but that is still a somewhat rare sight here in Phlan. If anything, some kobolds are sporadically hired to work on the city's sewage tunnels, but that doesn't necessarily does a lot in endearing them to the above-grounders. That said, most people don't seem to mind Sagin at all, and the kobold astutely ignores the stares he does receive.
(OOC: What would you like to buy/do while killing time?)
Utar had to admit, these workmen did fine looking work. As the group moves around the house, he clues the others into the responses.
"Looks like we'll have two guests for dinner, so we should organise something for that. I thought cheese, bread, something to drink? Maybe use some of the workmen's sawhorses, stretch boards between them as a table?"
Seeing down his pack, he continues,
"No help from Moneus. We're too hot to handle with The Welcomers right now after three loss of their catacombs stash. Seranolla will help us, but is already out of the city, so it's messages only, I'm afraid."
Doozey looks incredulously at Graxx and Utar. "Eh? We're inviting a dwarf over, not some sprite. We're likely to need more than just a few gallons of the stuff." He claims frankly. "But, uh.. that wouldn't be a bad back up in case we can't find anything else. Either way, we'll probably be best asking around for both while we're at it.Though, I imagine you'll be better off asking Dornal or the Captain for the best Warhorses available in town." Doozey adds, regarding Graxx, before then turning moreso to address the group.
"Either way, we shouldn't move as anything less than pairs. Between the welcomers and everything else, I... don't exactly relish the idea of getting jumped and kidnapped again."

@Neya/Drache: You think on your own words, as well as those of Doozey's, and realize you have not seen anything like a library in Phlan during your time here. The temples you visited (Temple of the Hand and the Valhingen Graveyard) must have some books but seemed to prioritize the well-being of the citizens of Phlan in life and death, respectively, over the keeping of vast archives of knowledge. Your best guess on a place that may house a respectable library is one of the Noble House residences, or Valjevo Castle itself.
@Graxx/Grx: You successfully go on a shopping trip to the stables, which are able to provide you with all that you requested, including the rope lengths. They explain that the a 30gp saddle will suit your warhorse well, since the 60gp version is mostly for flying mounts and requires some custom work. Chain Shirt Barding is indeed available for 200gp (Your warhorse's AC becomes 14.) Please add all of those purchases to your sheet and deduct the proper gold amount. Finally, would you like to buy any feed for the horse for 5cp per day's worth?
@Utar/MB: I gather you are buying the fancy meals and expensive ale, right? If so, how many people would you like the meal to cover and how many barrels of ale? CRAP + invitees would be 6 people, but that excludes Taters and Sagin. If going with, say, 7 people's worth and one barrel, that'd cost 71gp. Don't forget to account for the 20gpGraxx handed over to help pay for this purchase.
@Doozey/Ori: Whatcha buyin'? Also, are you still interested in a cart to go collect the copper and silver coins in Derannos' lair or is the hope for the planned boat to also serve that purpose in addition to getting you to the islet?
@Utar/MB: I gather you are buying the fancy meals and expensive ale, right? If so, how many people would you like the meal to cover and how many barrels of ale? Utar pockets the additional gold and heads off to try and find his way from the Leadstopper house to the Laughing Goblin.
Not being entirely sure of the best route, he feels as though he could take a more direct route if he tried but in all honesty it isn't the worst thing in the world to have a better idea of the street layout in the immediate area and a walk through the more familiar surroundings of Phlan is a comfort compared to the unknown dangers that lie behind magical doors in the countryside, or on an island dominated by fiendish crones. That feeling of comfort quickly dissipates as he spies the upper windows serving the Goblin and he is reminded that the danger of death is just as real in the comparatively safe environs of a town as out in the wilds. His hand instinctively touches the point on his armour above his scars for a moment and then drops to Lightbringer. The safety of town walls and an armed force of town guards is superficial at best.
Reaching the Goblin and stepping into the warmth offered by the public house, he looks around for a friendly member of staff to make the order and ups the offer to include a bonus payment for the inconvenience, the delivery of the goods (and himself) before the evening draws in and then a little extra on top.
(OOC - Assume Utar doesn't need to roll a check to make to the Laughing Goblin but if it is needed here's a survival check: 11. Utar is going to go with the fine food and drink offering and is including Taters and Sagin in the number of mouths that will need feeding because it would be rude not to. I'll add a haggle roll (persuasion - 19) in case Fat Mar would like to, but I was thinking that between the extra gold from Graxx and Utar topping things up to a total of 100gp we should be ok?)
Graxx would indeed like to purchase feed for the new steed. How much feed would you say would fit in one of the saddlebags? However much it is is how much I would like to purchase.
Doozey, after taking some time to attune to the Gauntlets of Ogre Power(trading out Wand of Web) eventually sets about to purchase the following, asking for Sagin along so he could at least walk the city openly and get a feel of the place outside of prior night time visits. While at first content to visit already known shops for supplies, introducing Sagin where he thought necessary for the future, Doozey eventually found himself taking a chance in visiting a certain pawn shop with at least the intention of finding out about their current stock of both the magical and the odd.

After all is said and done above, and there yet remained some time to spend, a visit to doomguide Yovir about possible ritual or steps the order or those they knew of might take to honor dead dragons. If asked, he would at the time go into some detail about the bronze and the party's current mission, but would pry in turn on how things have at least started to go with clearing the catacombs of other undead.
(@MB: Nice callback there. You may add a DM's Inspiration token to your sheet. Also, there is no need to roll to find the Laughing Goblin. Utar has visited both the docks and the residential district of Phlan enough to know his way around.)
@Utar: Fat Mar is more than happy to field you order for food and drink, and the generous tip does wonders to his mood. He is more than willing to deliver all the goods and even come back later in the evening to pick up dirty dishes and soiled cloths. The staff at the Laughing Goblin throws in some tables and chairs as well once you mention the house is far from being furnished. This is a big payday for Fat Mar and Co. and they will deliver top notch service with a smile on their faces. That said, he is claiming the whole 100gp and not not entertaining any haggling. Imizael would kill him if he played around with this offered sum.
@Graxx: The stable master packs the horse with enough feed for 6 days and charges you 3sp for it. He claims the horse can carry a lot more weight than they need to eat in a day, but reminds you that some of that carrying capacity needs to account for the rider and their gear. Finally, he also mentions that the horse can always be let out to graze, if needed. (OOC: I know nothing about horses so I am basing this on a quick Google search and some back of the envelope math. If it sounds absurd to anyone, let me know.)
@Doozey: Sagin joins you in your walk and observes as you buy rope and holy water. The apothecary, who is starting to recognize you as a repeat customer as she has already done so with Neya, has three common healing potions to sell, as well as one superior healing potion for 500gp. For the more curious, she says she recently purchased from a traveling merchant a dose of bottled breath, and she is willing to part ways with it for another 300gp. Your haggling attempts fail. Your later visit to the Doomguide yields little information. He admits only being familiar with the burial of the one noble lady who might have been a polymorphed dragon and who wanted to be interred in a mausoleum. You remember the other members of CRAP telling you this story too. His best generalized guess is that Dragon's would likely desire to be laid to rest on their hoards. The clearing of the catacombs is slow work, but the Kelemvorites are excited to reclaim some of the fighting spirit in them. Finally, you search within the pawn shop yields a bunch of minor trinkets such as a spoon-fork combination utensil (a.k.a. spork), a firefly in a jar whose light is bright pink, and a piece of parchment which refuses to absorb any mundane ink.
(OOC: Boat and mercenary negotiations will have to wait until after dinner. With that in mind, is the group ready to receive their invitees?)
Unsurprised his attempts to wheedle out a better price on things getting nowhere, and yet determined to make a purchase all the same, Doozey not only purchases the potions and bottled breathe, but humbly thanked the woman as well for the service before finding his way out of there. In route to their next destination however, Doozey gives Sagin one of the potion of basic healing, admitting at the time that it might not be necessary to have, but it wouldn't hurt to have on hand all the same. He also offered Sagin ten gold pieces in what he would call a 'starting bonus', and with more possible to come once the finer details got more officially hashed out with the others.
When it later came to visiting the Doomguide, Doozey is at once happy for them, and struggling to hide his exasperation at the suggestion about a dragon burial. Yet for as much as the idea of shifting a dragon onto a horde of coins and items felt odd and silly deep down inside, he resolved to see it down with the remainder that was there. Perhaps he might've even see about adding to it, following the demise of the coven.
By the time he's pondering the idea of picking Dornal's brain later about figuring out a means to close up the new burial ground as well, the trio of smallness(Sagin, Taters, and Doozey) arrive at the pawn shop. Whereby at which point Doozey tried his best not to marvel at the spork, imagining all the many combination of foods that would be so much easier to consume with it! In fact, unable to quite help himself, so long as the Dragonborn kept the price under fifteen gold for the spork and thirty for the firefly, he happily purchase the both. With little more to distract the duo, and not wanting to tempt any welcomers to try their hand at petty vengeance upon his person without the others about, Doozey led the way back to the leadstopper home ready for the big meeting.
(@Lerus: Just as an aside in case it matters later, while out in public Doozey kept his dragon mask shard in the lead box for safe keeping, and had made sure to slip it away before entering the city earlier)
