Clayton looks surprised as he watches on, “Huh... didn’t think that’d work. Uh, thank y’all.” Clayton will then gather up the spears and climb the rope.

The pedestal grinds as it moves and lowers, revealing a hefty stone cube that looks like a key, with Shagambi images all over it. You also notice that the mural has changed - Nangnang appears defeated in the image, and Shagambi has his spear back. In this particular shrine, you feel at peace - but Nangnang is not happy - as Shariel can probably attest.
With this particular shrine completed, you can't help to think there are probably 8 more to go. But..what do these keys do? Where do they go?
Clayton snags the cube and exclaims, “Alright! We got the Shagambi badge!” He then mutters to himself, “There, that good? What do you mean I could do better!?”

"THE FALL OF OMU
Omu's bloody rituals drew the attention of Acererak, an archlich who wanders the cosmos in search of souls to harvest. Acererak marveled at the trials concocted by the Omuans. They inspired him to create his own dungeon below the city. A hundred years ago, Acererak entered Omu and slew all nine trickster gods. He then enslaved the Omuans and forced them to carve out a tomb for their defeated gods. When the tomb was complete, the archlich murdered the Omuans and sealed them in the tomb with their false gods. Acererak resumed his odyssey across the planes, content that the dungeon would feed his phylactery with the souls of dead adventurers. The jungles reclaimed Omu, and it fell to ruin."
So Bree went down the stairs (to the north) from the main room, where everyone else rappelled down. Does that hallway, in fact, intersect with the pit, or does it go below or past it? If the latter, she will continue on to those other rooms, confident in her ability to not be surprised. She's looking for treasure, basically.
If it does intersect with the pit, then continue on the other side, she will nonchalantly sidle her way on out the other side, and do the above.
Either way, she'd like to check out the rest of the shrine. For treasure. In case that wasn't clear.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Since it sounds like we need to find all the other key stones, perhaps we should head west to area 2 and then 3? From where we are, do we see anything in any surrounding areas that looks like a shrine?
Shariel fights to keep NangNang in check. "Let's move on to the next shrine, shall we? Maybe one belonging to the grung-god shown there? Could be that his perspective on matters is a bit different."

This would be ideal. Unless no one objects, i'll describe area 2 when I get home.
Smoke drifts lazily from a walled compound. The gate lies in splinters, and scorch marks deface the buildings. Near the center of the compound is a plaza littered with charred human corpses. One of the corpses is being torn apart by a pack of wild dogs. The wild dogs see you, and scatter away at your approach.
Musharib looks around and examines the bodies. There are about thirty of them. The bodies are either humanoids wearing red robes, or yuan-ti. If there was a fight here, it looks like both sides suffered heavy casualties. However, one thing stands out nearby. I looks as though the yuan-ti won, because you see a glaive has been thrust into remains of a burned-out pyre. Charred snake skulls and blackened inhuman vertebrae are lashed to the spear. On a wall nearby, a symbol has been daubed in ash: a snake curled in a spiral, gripping a circle in its jaws.
There is nothing else of interest in this area, but Musharib says, "Ach, it looks like the Red Wizards of Thay are after the secrets of this place as well..."
"The Red Wizards of Thay are an evil-aligned organization of wizards led by the lich Szass Tam. They are bent on finding and collecting great sources of power. They are also slavers, tourturers, and demonologists."
Clayton will examine the glaive. Some nun somewhere is miffed.
For a moment, just a moment, you are overcome with a feeling of deja vu. You shake it off. It was probably nothing. The glaive looks tribal in nature, but nothing special otherwise. At least, not to you.
Clayton looks surprised as he watches on, “Huh... didn’t think that’d work. Uh, thank y’all.” Clayton will then gather up the spears and climb the rope.
