There is a froghemoth statue in the center of the pool. It has a stone key (not the one you want) in it's mouth. It looks like it would unlock the door to the structure further inside beyond the pool. The edge of the pool looks slippery, and the pool looks very gross and swampy. Mechanically, there is no other way to access the next area without the key. And the froghemoth probably won't let you just take it, unless, once again, someone does something clever.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yasei to Frogger: "Hello my pretty. Thank you for guarding my shrine. Now, be a good boy and hand me the key. I require an inspection of my shrine." Persuasion: 5
Yasei laughs a low, grumbling laugh, followed by a low snake-like hisssssssssssssssssss. "Now."
Grishkar Darkmoor, Necromancer of Nerull the Despiser Kelvin Rabbitfoot, Diviner, con artist, always hunting for a good sale Bründir Halfshield, Valor Bard, three-time Sheercleft Drinking Competition Champion, Hometown hero
Yasei spreads her arms out wide, bows slightly, and calmly and firmly tells the beast "We mean you no harm, my beautiful. I am Kubazan, and I've come to honor all."
Inside her head, Yasei asks Kubazan 'how do I calm this monster down and allow us to pass into the shrine?"
Yasei, even though the advice is not traditional, it urges you to follow it's instructions. The snake inside you wiggles in pleasure. You have no reason to doubt your godlike compatriot. The froghemoth calms down a bit, it's tentacles slowly waving closer in your direction.
You are grabbed by a tentacle and immediately ingested. It's warm, wet, and slimy. The snake inside you is doing it's best to keep you calm, and much to your surprise, you fall unconscious.
The froghemoth sinks back into the pool, and doesn't bother the rest of you.
Clayton’s face in is, quite simply, shock. “What!? How in this unholy jungle are we going to get her out! Bree, any ideas? You’ve been wanting people to follow a plan this whole time!”

With a roll like that, you couldn't convince your grandmother to lend you 5 gold.
In response, you receive the froghemoth's rebuttal: Attack: 16 Damage: 18
“Giant frog thing! I suggest that you leave us alone and go take a nap!” Suggestion! DC 14 Wis Save.

Nothing happens. It's getting angrier.
“Or not. You know, you do you. Who am I to decide the lives of frogs. Carry on buddy.”
