Drego staggers under the ghost's attack, but manages to maintain his concentration on the ethereal assaulter. The ranger squeezes off two more shots to try to finish off the first of the two.
Pieste Mor growls lowly having thought these spirits would have been dealt with by now and his own sleep could have continued. That's what he gets for expecting the humanoids to finish things... With a quick shake of his head which then reverberates all down his body to the tip of his tail, the dragon gets to his feet and draws his head back before thrusting it forward and releasing a [spell]Scorching Ray;Roar of Fires[spell] with three rays of fire shooting out of it's maw and towards the apparition.

(Not sure why the damage roll on my last attack was a 1d8 -- it should have been a 2d4+4 for the main attack and 1d4+4 for the BA crit. Rerolling here: 9 main attack and then 8 for the BAA crit, doubling the dice.)
Jax roars in fury, going into a rage at the heavy hits on the others, but mostly Drego.
Ancestral Protectors:
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, spectral warriors appear when you enter your rage. While you’re raging, the first creature you hit with an attack on your turn becomes the target of the warriors, which hinder its attacks. Until the start of your next turn, that target has disadvantage on any attack roll that isn’t against you, and when the target hits a creature other than you with an attack, that creature has resistance to the damage dealt by the attack. The effect on the target ends early if your rage ends.
He spins his blade and attempts to focus all the attention on himself.
Case stands still, examining the scene, then goes and sits back down to resume his resting. "I do not understand this situation. I look forward to discussing theories in the morning."

Drego stumbles over to Stitch, grabbing the gobbo and checking him carefully for any signs of wounds or injury. The ranger has his left hand jammed against a gash on his side, seeming to be holding back a stream of blood with the force of will alone.
Once he's sure Stitch is uninjured and unaffected by the attack, the ranger will turn his attention to the rest of the room, looking for signs of who or what assaulted them.
Robin, still sitting on her bed, holds her wand, eyes scanning the area as she watches for any signs of more ghosts. She is just scanning, walls, celing, and floor, keeping an eye out for any more threats. She is preoccupied though, glancing to the blood welling around Drego's hand as he holds his side.
Having been fully awoken, PM will indeed poke around to check things out. Mainly the dragon would sniff around the areas the ghosts seemed to come through and the people they tried to possess, trying to determine if their passage changed things or if something perhaps blocked them…
The healing magic does it's job, sealing up the wounds from the ethereal claws. Drego nods his thanks to Case and rubs Stitch affectionately on the head before continuing his search of the room - looking for any signs of more attackers.
Seeing his magic do the trick and not seeing anymore nightmare inducing ghosts, Stitch wanders over to PM and tries to use them as a pillow. (I assume pm may have some aversion to this. And if that’s the case, Stitch would curl up next to the tiny dragon and rest a hand on its head)

Jax slowly calms, and shakes his head, looking closely where the ghosts died, trying to see any signs they left behind.
Anyone examining the room or anywhere else can roll me a Perception while stating where specifically they are looking.

Case casts Healing Word at 2nd level on Drego, seeing the ranger bleeding all over the place. 5 healing.
Seeing the other poking around, Case will glance about in case there is any remnants of the ghosts attack left in their realm.
