"Of course, we defer to your greater wisdom, Ancient One. In our zeal to protect the multiverse we have erred, we can now see that. However, a former comrade who has now gone on to become one with the Weave has communicated with me, and led me to understand that the stone, used improperly, is a threat to us all, no matter what personal creed we follow. It is not a matter of good vs. evil, but rather of existence or annihilation. In our admittedly limited understanding, the thing were better destroyed than have that threat remain.
"Do you know the location of the artifact?"
(Did Angus manage to heal Tauzan before he disappeared? If not, then he would heal Tabaqui instead).
"We're all scared of the unknown and always want to destroy what we're incapable of understanding"- Marlyth observes while pulling Tyreus towards the lake shore. She submerges a fancy handcarchief into the water of the lake and uses the wet piece of cloth to clean the blood and nasal discharge off his face.
"Some people will be lawful when others will be chaotic, but we're the offsprings of mother nature. We're brothers and sisters."
(Just consider the post as a retroactive one, she'll probably heal Tabaqui sooner or later.)
"You may address me as Sh'derra D'zeer." The dragon scoffs, glaring at the water elemental and giving a slight growl, at which the hostile entity considers his odds and takes off. "Elementals are a part of the cosmos, native to the chaos, of course, but they pose little threat. Now, the weave is endangered, you say. And you heard this straight from the horse's mouth? I suppose a goddess needs her worshippers and her portfolio. The fact is that these time elementals the man in the blue cloak summoned here pose a threat to her, but there are other worlds with no weave whose magic functions to varying degrees. Humanoids often find it difficult to access magic, so the weave is most useful to them. Without it, magic may not flourish among the humanoids, but who says that's such a bad thing? We have them to thank for the fire marshes of these moors, not tomention the seemingly endless stream of undead that inspired their evocation in the first place. Still, keeping the, so-called, 'forbidden magic' from the hands of humanoids might not be the worst idea. Funny what things are placed iff limits, if summoning abberations from the Far realm somehow falls short of such designation."
<right now those time elementals are an issue, well the one elemental. If you dissipate them, Tauzen is ... elsewhere, but if you dont deal with them, anyone could he next.>
(So are there two different elementals, or one with several aspects? Is the elemental that is with Tauzan the same one that is still here with the rest of the party?)

There is no way the PCs would know this. They are extremely exotic. Sh'derra would know though.
"Help me send this troublesome creature back to the demiplane of time, and I might let you out of a here with a warning. They seem to move very quickly."
A time elemental returns, accompanied by Tyreus. The mage looks far worse for wear: half of his body looks to be seared severely. His entire body is dehydrated and his eyes, or rather where his eyes had been, trickle a thick, syrupy but vibrantly bright red ooze that must be blood. His clothes are bkeached and his skin a ruddy brown. He looks almost mummified. He is clearly dead.

(So does Tauzan need to wait to take action? Is the time elemental really close or some distance?)
With the sudden change in scenery, Tauzan will try to get his bearings and see if there are any landmarks or other things of note around. (Perception: 26)

Tauzen is near enough to him, within 5ft. Tauzen can act, as he was healed prior to relocation. Be warned: if thr tine elemental is killed, Tauzen will be stranded in a desert.
The desert sky is clear, the water if the lake and the pouting rain of the moor a distant memory ad the arid heat begins to dry Tauzen's hair and clothing. The time elementals, while harmful are rather aloof. They're interactions more akin to a huge dinosaur unwittingly crushing a smaller creature underfoot than any direct malice, at least based on their rather erratic movements. Though they are decidedly drawn toward moving objects. Their featureless amorphous and nebulous form makes rheir attitudes and intentions rather inscrutable.
They can communicate by telepathy, but short of guessing that, the PCs wouldn't know it. The elementals have not reached out mentally to speak to anyone.

Marlyth's Turn
Marlyth casts Hunter's Mark on the elemental that had previously disappeared with Tauzan and magically marks it as her quarry. After that, she will use her remaining life aura to channel primal magic to grow bark-like claws and leap forward to attack the same creature.
"How dare you kidnap our friend?"- she murmurs while desperately clinging to life.

Sand dunes rise all around, several meters high in the sand sea. If you pick a direction and walk, you'll find there are many things in this hostile land, but right here, just sand. Ascending such a dune will take a few minutes, but could allow for a better view to get the lay if the land.
"We're all scared of the unknown and always want to destroy what we're incapable of understanding"- Marlyth observes while pulling Tyreus towards the lake shore. <He's a pretty gruesome corpse at this point. I don't think a wet cloth is going to help much. Anything else from Marlyrh or Walks? I think Tabaqui is down, but I consider this chunk if PCs acring simultaneously so if he is healed, be can also act before Sh'derra.>
The misty red forms all shudder in unison as the arc of lightning pierces two of them. They quickly calm to the state they held before. But in his mind, Calner feels a sudden terrible sensation - a memory of a dream perhaps? Who can say. He sees theough tunnel vision, or recalls it. A gray stone chasm, narrow, rising high out of sight on either side as he rushes forward. It feels like the speedy run on rails lasts an interminable duration, yet also encompasses only an instant. Strange, that. Without warning, the chasm narrows sharply, ending in a stone wall directly before him. Through the tunnelvision memory, he sees the surface I'm minute detail, a fine dust settled on rough natural rock smoothed by erosion of ages. Then nothing, the memory, dream, experience, whatever it was, simply ends.
It seems the time elemental(s) are trying to communicate
Ascending the dune, Tauzen sees a deep concave depression in the sand. It stretches a mike wide. Although covered and largely filled with sand, something glistens beneath the tawny grains. At the far ridge it is clear to see once you understand what you are looking at. This is a crater of glass, made long enough in the past to be largely buried in the sands kf the desert, yet not so long that the abrasive acrion if wind blown sand had dulled the exposed surface.
<It's about 10 years old, I was trying to convey what I thought that would look like.>
The time elemental manifestation shares with Tauzen, telepathically, a series if incongruous images. An elven woman and her children, a vampire, a dark conical thing, rubbery and somewhat eel like, with a radial mouth at the base and a sharp curved point at the tip of the cone, rippling waves of shimmering iridescence radiate from the creature. It seems.to grow rapidly more distant, the entirety of the creature revealed to sit within the mouth of a similar, larger creature. On and on the fractal expands, then reverses, zooming headlong into mouth after mouth filled with razor sharp teeth Taxuen falls until at last a pain of men stand before him in a circle of pale sand surrounded by a writhing sea of the dark conical creatures. The younger holds a black staff. He strikes it with something else and it shatters, sending a concussion blast of white hot light from the point where the two men stand. At that, the vision ceases.

Meanwhile... back at Highstar Lake:
Sh'derra attempts to make contact with the time elemental and defuse the situation. Reaching out with her own telepathy, she speaks in a beguiling whisper: (DC15 Wis or become charmed,) "You don't want to be now, do y9u? So few things happening here, so muddled, so familiar."

Looking from the ancient crater then back to the time elemental, he speaks in Primordial.
