<It's about 10 years old, I was trying to convey what I thought that would look like.>
The time elemental manifestation shares with Tauzen, telepathically, a series if incongruous images. An elven woman and her children, a vampire, a dark conical thing, rubbery and somewhat eel like, with a radial mouth at the base and a sharp curved point at the tip of the cone, rippling waves of shimmering iridescence radiate from the creature. It seems.to grow rapidly more distant, the entirety of the creature revealed to sit within the mouth of a similar, larger creature. On and on the fractal expands, then reverses, zooming headlong into mouth after mouth filled with razor sharp teeth Taxuen falls until at last a pain of men stand before him in a circle of pale sand surrounded by a writhing sea of the dark conical creatures. The younger holds a black staff. He strikes it with something else and it shatters, sending a concussion blast of white hot light from the point where the two men stand. At that, the vision ceases.

Meanwhile... back at Highstar Lake:
Sh'derra attempts to make contact with the time elemental and defuse the situation. Reaching out with her own telepathy, she speaks in a beguiling whisper: (DC15 Wis or become charmed,) "You don't want to be now, do y9u? So few things happening here, so muddled, so familiar."
<It's charmed. I'm going to give you guys a second to talk to Sh'derra if you like. Or I guess the time elemental if that floats your boat. Time elemental has next initiative and dialogue us always free, so it will do whatever she yells it immediately. She has agreed not to harm you punitively, but your'e not friends.>
"Return to your home demiplane." Sh'derra commands the elemental.
It vanishes, along with its other manifeststions.
Tauzen js still in the desert. Tyreus is a corpse.
Surveying the scene, the amethyst dragon addresses the group generally. "If you're still in my hunting grounds in three hours or if I find you in the company of any kther aberrations, any gratitude for your assistance in the present matter will be forgotten. Is that clear?"

Marlyth sets up a makeshift medical camp to treat the injured adventurers. She applies healing balm on Tabaqui's wound after disinfecting it with a liquid from her glass vial. But, the liquid is poisoned water collected from the pool outside of the gorgon's lair, so he might remain poisoned temporarily after regaining consciousness. She prays to the spirits of nature requesting for his quick recovery. 14HP channeled to Tabaqui by casting Cure Wounds
She will examine the condition of Walks with Shadows to ensure the availability of additional healers. After that she will patch up the wound of Calner to help him regain 9HP [Cure Wounds]. She will finally spread her bedroll on the ground and carefully place the mortal remnants of Tyreus on it. She's trying to figure out if it's possible to perform an autopsy on him.

Angus becomes aware that the stone of creation is on Tyreus' corpse a moment before everyone else does.
They are time elementals. They belong in their own demiplane. Their motivations are wholly alien to a mind steeped in linear time. That demiplane is nor ally quite inaccessible by magical means. Whatever summoning spell or ritual or force brought them here, it was not cast through Mystra's weave.
Seeing what Marlyth is up to with the corpse, Sh'derra manifests beside it, without leaving her place, rather, appearing in both spaces at once (spatial projection). "What do you think you are doing with this, young lady?" She asks of her. Before she can respond, the dragon makes it clear the question was rhetorical as she continues, "That belongs to me. " The dragon makes an imposing sight, with its pupil-less glowing pale lavender eyes. "The stone is the creative force incarnate, an amazing object of order, but lacking chaos itself, it is painfully susceptible to the ravages of entropy. Such a powerful, yet delicate artifact must be protected with the utmost care. I have the means to shelter it and an understanding of its workings. I seek to determine its origins and understand how it fits into the grand puzzle of rhe multiverse.
<Yeah, normally persuasion is not something the NPC would roll. I just wanted to here. You set your own DC. Figure out for your own character what kind of DC the dragon would need ro persuade you and respond accordingly. If I dont hear anyhting, at some point she's just going to try and take it, which is what ahe already intent on doing.>
Tauzan takes a moment to recover from the series of images that suddenly flood him. He tries to understand them. (Arcana to try and see if he has any ideas about the dark conical creatures: 29) He again addresses the time elemental, speaking again in Primordial.
"The pair of men with the staff - did that happen here? Cause this crater of glass? Can I help you find something here?"

<That time elemental disappeared. I should have stated that explicitly. The multiple elementals were all manifeststions of the one, that is they function as one, even sharing a pool of hp. While it might be possible for them to exists in multiple planes, they/it all failed against the dragon's ability, so they all act on it. The Primordial would have worked, but just because Tauzen was thinking it, allowing the telepathy to take over.>
Tauzen's uncanny knowledge of the arcane leads him to consider thst the creatures he saw might have been the fsbked Phaerim. Said to have been the end of more than one dominant magical empire, and having a considerable role in the relatively recent fall of Shade and consequently Myth Drannor. The mysterious subterranean creatures are said to be utterly alien entities, but make a special effort to cause suffering in their destructive path. Their ability to weird the art (use magic) is purportedly more powerful than any humanoid, and they have been refining the spells of humanoids for their own purposes of the many centuries they've been on Faerûn, rough mush of that time they were absent from the overworked. Were they not confined fir all these long years, it seems unlikely any civilizations would exist in Toril today.

She will finally spread her bedroll on the ground and carefully place the mortal remnants of Tyreus on it. She's trying to figure out if it's possible to perform an autopsy on him.
Marlyth eagerly takes in the information offered by the dragon, then replies, "You're saying that there are powerful stones inside Tyreus' body... probably inside his kidneys or pancreas or somewhere else."
She stares at the lower part of body of the corpse while drawing out a scimitar and applying disinfectant (poisoned water) on it. "Maybe, I should remove these stones first, then you can keep them inside your lair. By the way, you look pretty!"
(was Angus included on the telepathic link earlier? Is it still up? If so, he will relay the following message silently. If not, he will turn to the other party members, his back to the dragon and try to silently pantomime the question):

It was the monkish fellow with the curiously curved blade."

In the film, Diva Plavalaguna conceals the magical(?) Stones in her abdomen, which Bruce Willis' character removes by hand. She intended to deliver them to him at some point before being shot.
IRL: The character was played by rhe director's then wife. After the movie was released, they divorced and he was (briefly) married the lead actress of the film.

I have no idea where or when your friend has gone. Adventuring g is dangerous work.
At that she searches Tyreus for the stone. Finds it and returns to her other self, now one, holding the stone. "I suggest you head East. My hunting demyne extends West and South from here. So long as you're on your way, it's if little concern to me."

Looking from the ancient crater then back to the time elemental, he speaks in Primordial.
