I was kind of expecting everyone else to roll initiative. There's absolutely no reason this thing is going to stay in the cellar. In fact, I rolled for time of day randomly. There was about a 12% chance it was going to jack you on the beach the minute you arrived. So I'll give people a chance to roll that there initiative and we'll proceed from there.
Marlyth orders the first Seagull to guard the entrance when she examines the contents of the garden. She instructs the other bird to pluck some fresh carrots and turnips while she attempts to hear if there's some kind of movement inside the house (Passive Perception 15). Finally, she attempts to remove the Golden Disk from the wall at the same time crying out:
"Hello! Who's there? Mal? I saw your footsteps outside and don't try to escape from the person who saved you. That's uncivilized."

In the center of room 4, the horror unleashes a pool of shadows, stretching across the room, around corners and down the stairs. They lash at anyone within 60 ft. (DC16 Dex save or 37 necrotic damage) random roll 3.
He then passes through the fireplace in the north of the room, emerging in room 2. (Incorporeal movement, provokes opportunity attack from Safeguard)
I'm saying Calner has enough movement to get to room 2, where he would correctly surmise the thong went, and as it is not hidden presently, the attack proceeds under normal conditions.

I did say Tabaqui heard something in the basement, but I didn't think he walked down, so the first round involves surprised Angus, insurprised Weneon.
Initiative seems to go shadow horror first [23], so assuming nobody else is ahead of him, he might move alot. He's very mobile.
I don't think this changes any of the posts I've read but I'll check again and I wanted to clarify confusion if there was any.
(When I said very mobile. It can move up to 160ft in a round. Imagine it with Haste?)
