(question, aren't there closed double doors between Morena and the center of the darkness?)
If there are, tabaqui couldn't have gotten to room 1 without opening 2 doors, so 2x object interaction on1 turn. I've been playing them as open the whole time.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Following Weneon's mostly unsuccessful attempts at fighting blind, the horror slashes at Weneon (legendary) then on its turn, slashes at Tabaqui, passing trough the rest of the wall (it was partially inside of it, which caused it 5hp damage if you were wondering) then attacks Marlyth with a slash and a bite. he then uses the hide action while in darkness (and this is where I trust you guys not to meta-analysis again) and stalks around the north side of the house, unseen by those still in darkness.)
Claw x T 15 for 15 slashing
Claw x T 10 for 18 slashing
Claw x W 19 for 16 slashing
Claw x M 9 for 14 slashing
Bite x M 16 for 18 slashing
On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 16 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of the horror until the end of the target’s next turn.
Here is the map again. Not redrawing just to show Wen in the dark and the Shady out of the dark ro the North. Also, just realized the darkness may not be there after the fireball if Marlyth loses concentration. Might have to retcon slightly.
Somehow, Tabaqui manages to avoid the latest Shady attack in the darkness. Since the darkness was cast, he has been blasted by a fireball, and attacked thrice. He is not really seeing the benefit of the darkness, so he will feel his way toward the exterior door, pass through it, and attempt to exit the darkness outside the building.
*<So, someone in the ooc thread reminded me that darkness actually cancels disadvantage on characters attacking targets under the blinded condition. I'm not rerolling the attacks Shady made in the dark, but I am apologizing for my mistake there. I'll try to be more careful in the future. Thank you)>
"Ouch! Something attempted to chop me into pieces, roasted me then bit me. Why do we have a guest with us who mistakes tieflings as edible items? Where's everyone else?"
Marlyth asks her companions while trying to understand the critical situation.

Star spawn movement 1‐2 East, 3-4 West 1
I guess the start spawn follows Shady through the darkness and out the east door. I'd say it could look for tracks to see where Shady went, but I don't think it leaves tracks. If it did look for tracks, it would see the ones the seagull followed, so let's not do that. Let's roll for it again.
Morwena Wis save 7
Morwena backs away 30ft.
<Does it make sense for her to move through the doorway to room 4 with an exit, or should she back into a corner in room 5? Mechanically the straight line makes sense, narratively the exit makes sense. Any input from the peanut gallery?>
Marlyth will use the 'Wildshape' feature to assume the shape of a Jaculi magically and stays inside the dark sphere. Jaculyth has Blindsight. She finds her purple serpentine features comfortable and sways her barbed head.
(@Wile_E_Coyote,Jaculiscan be found in the interior Faerun area. Marlyth belongs to a nomadic tribe, she could have seen one. Besides, she's a Tiefling raised by 'Hybsils', her backstory can involve other planes too. Blimey!)
<I did forget about the jungles of the interior. There's a special place in my memory for a spot in the shining south called the Misty Vale. A jaculi wouldn't seem out of place there either.>
Morwena casts haste on herself and runs into the basement, past a writhing Angus.
There she uses her quarterstaff to strike the keystone in the ceiling of the cellar.
<I'm not rolling to hit an inanimate object. She isn't even trying to break it and there's no stats for it anyhow. If you don't like that, pretend I said she just grabs it>
Weneon is up.
edit: oh yeah, and the demiplane will collapse in 12 minutes.

<I forgot who was next in the order. Here it is again>
Shady
Calner,
Tabaqui,
Safeguard,
Marlyth,
Morwena,
Angus,
Weneon

<Ignore that first 'x T'. Crazy it ended up the same numbers.>

Star spawn movement outside 1-3 South, 4-6 East, 7-10 North (I could roll a D9, but let's give randomness a +1)
7
Star Spawn moves North, following close behind Shady.
Marlyth will use the 'Wildshape' feature to assume the shape of a Jaculi magically and stays inside the dark sphere. Jaculyth has Blindsight. She finds her purple serpentine features comfortable and sways her barbed head.

Angus Death Save: 22
(Three successes, Angus stablizes, although he remains unconscious)
<Has Marlyth seen a Jaculi? Did she visit Chult? I'm not calling this for rules. I'm saying it could be cool for her backstory.>
Legendary action, glide. Shady moves another 20ft along the north wall toward the north entrance
I think we're waiting on Safeguard then it's Morwena Angus and Weneon
