Grabbing his gear, he dons the studded leather armor. Adjusting. "Perfect fit." He notes, glancing at the others. "I have my papers, so as long as they don't immediately go to drugging us in an ambush, I should be able to talk us through most drow. I'm looking for good bodyguards." Says the man as he grabs a ring. A fancy looking signet ring, sliding it on his finger.
Sennet, after retrieving and putting on his armor and gathering his equipment, will look at the extra stuff.
"If no one minds, I'll be taking one of these studded leather sets, a bag of caltrops, a hammer, and a coil of rope."
He inspects the studded leather, and after deciding it's the better choice, tosses his old worn armor on the floor, putting on the new one. He continues to put everything else in his bag and makes his way out of the armor.
Kel takes a chain shirt, then rummages through the rest curiously. They take a coil of rope, a building hammer, and a bag of spikes. Then they turn and straighten, something about their draconic face showing relief as they find their shield and warhammer, taking both up happily, and testing the warhammer carefully to weigh its balance. "This is good," they murmur, chuckling a little as their spider pet climbs atop the ridges of their head to perch imperiously. "I feel much less naked, now."
(Apologies on the late response - apparently my actual post did not post!)
As you all collect your things, Eldeth speaks up: "But what now? There's countless demons and drow out there now! Where are you planning on running to? We need a plan quick, before someone comes back and sees us!
"We'll fit as many as we can on the lift down and I'll lower you down." Sennet then quickly makes his way to the lift and motions everyone to get on, as many as can fit.
"We head to the nearest city that isn't controlled by Lolth's lunatics. There, House Maefin can get us a bed. Food. Drink." Rambles Crowfell. "...and we can tell them- the City Council, that the Faceless Lord is up to something, perhaps save lives. And also, perhaps not having to worry about it if the council sends someone else."
"The northern route by us here heads to Menzzoberanzan, drow capital, probably not the best idea. But if we get to the floor we could make a run for the west, to Darklake, or try the Southern road to Gracklstugh the duergar city. But going down the basket is going to be difficult with everyone scrambling around there I think," Shushan mentioned as they made their way back out of the post.
"I say we head for the nearest exit after we get down and leave the Drow here with the demons. We can worry about our exact location once we're clear."
"We have enough rope to climb down the wall, probably," Kel offers, not particularly fond of the idea of using the basket. Too many things could go wrong there. Though, probably just as many could go wrong with any other plan. "We need to decide quick, though. We are going to lose our opening."
"I'm for whatever plan will get us out of here." Finn says, "but I do agree that the longer we wait, the more likely it will be that we will be discovered. I also think that we should avoid Gracklstugh." Finn finishes checking his gear and shoulders his pack.
Stool waddled around a bit before his voice was heard among them, "Can only go so far down by rope, the webs get in the way, have to go to the waterfall! Just hope the spiders are occupied...but yes, yes then you come to Netherlight Grove! See my home!" He jumps in a bobbing like fashion before tottering off back across the webbed bridge.
Finn wants to grab 2 bags of caltrops and a coil of rope

I don't have a signature.
"There will be gold. Lots of gold."
(Kel want anything? Otherwise you all can add that stuff to your inventory)
If no one claims them, Finn will trade his leather armor for a chain shirt and a set of studded leather armor.

"let's not use the basket." Crowfell vetoes that idea. "Darklake or Gracklstugh."
Sennet looks confused. "How do we get down if we don't use the basket?"

"I don't know but the way he," Crowfell points a finger at the Myconid.

"the way he said it, made it sound like there's other options."

Crowfell pointed at Shushan. My bad.
