Everyone’s favorite Goliath, the Great Maginio, walks up to Marmaduke. “Did you say wait a day or until the end of it? I forget. Just checking to see how it’s coming along.”
The younger of the pair's ear twitches, and then starts to turn in direction, only to stop short hearing a frustrated sigh from the dwarf. "It just doesn't make sense! I /know/ I had more here." She complains as leaned in again to start counting the coin.
"Maaayybe he shorted ya, Marm?"The half-drow suggested, receiving in turn a snort. "It's a goliath that knows magic. No way he'd be that stupid, Zalandra."She states flatly. To which, Zalandra huffs and crosses her arms. "Okayyy -- maybe somebody pick pocketed you?"The dwarf huffs. "I consider that too. Which is why I sent Lion-O(Lion), Jerry(Mastiff), Mya(Brown Bear), Sabu(Human - Orphan Boy), and Orileo(Goliath - Orphan Teen) to find thief."She says as she starts sliding the coinage back into separate pouches, and putting them away about her person again.
All the while Zalandra stared down now with eyes wide and hands covering her mouth. After a while, the dwarf woman takes note, and just rolls her eyes at first. "Oh don't give me that. They're not--"Marm draws a gloved hand across her throat. "You silly girl."Zalandra "hmphs!" and pouts at her. "They are just to find out who it was, and bring them back here to me. 'sides, I put Sabu in charge of them. So, things should turn out fine enough."
"Soooo, does that mean the *ahem!* Purple Wyrm--" The dwarf lady shoots a glare at Zalandra. "Worm. I mean worm. *coughs*... So we back in business boss, or what?"Zalandra asks.
"Aye, aye. I'll have the odds for you by the next match."
(@RedWolf Trust you to choose how much ya pick up of that. But aside from Zalandra,

"At end of every day. Starting today, as agreed." Marmaduke, the Dwarf of Mystery, says as she ties off a scroll and passes it over to Maginio. "One Scroll of Magic Missile as agreed. More to come for next... five days orders." " She adds tiredly as she starts reorganizing her table. "Hey. Before you go. You didn't 'appen to be a... nevermind. Clearing his throat "Excuse me Miss... Uh... Purple Wyrm, are you the one I see to place bets on the next Match? Fishing out 10 gold and Jingling it in his hand. "If so I'd like to place 10 on Og. Might as well try and make some money while I wait for a Match."
The next match for level 3 competitors has been announced in the Underground Coliseum. Level 3 contenders receive a somber letter under their door, inviting them to their own funeral.
(Back to the wait... Og's match would be at night.. probably... huh... Moving on!)
"Told ya it was a better name." Zalandra elbows Marm in the side, and receives another glare for her troubles. "Technically. Odds 'aven't been set on that just yet. Still sussing out who he might be facing and all that."Marmaduek confesses. "Now, I could accept your bet as him -- and whoever else he gets paired with -- ahead of time if you wish. But... are you certain you wish to do that? There is no guarantee the odds will be favorable for him just yet."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After receiving an approving thumbs-up from Marmaduke, Zalandra once again eagerly throws herself into stoking the flames of the gambling patrons who have long since been starved of attention. And worst yet! Perhaps even began to dare consider alternatives! Not on this half-drow watch.
For Those Interested In Placing Bets on the Level 2 Match:
(Someone please help me come up with better names!)
Da Rules:
There have been a few changes for the Rank(/level) 2. Bets will still remain open until the conditions for 1st to Fall section have been met. Variable betting has been temporarily restructured so that the minimum stake can be no lower than 10 gp, and maximum set to 100gp with a 10% Vig. (S/N: Deal with Toren is still in the works, but won't be available for this match).
(Stake x Odds = Payout(-Minus Stake, though it is returned as part of payout))
S/N Rulings: --*For this match, bets will remain open until someone falls. --*A gambler can bet on multiple categories, but only once per. --*And to clarify, methods of incapacitation that do not involve a takedown (ie. Competitor being reduced to 0 hp) only qualifies as a 1st to fall IF said competitor REMAINS incapacitated until the match ends. --*If multiple competitors are rendered incapacitated at the same time via the above method, and remain that way until the end of the match, the stake is considered a loss. In such an event, all proceeds is divided and funneled back into the arena to support future matches (or so she says at least) --*If the Vig/commission is not paid upfront, it will be taken out of the winnings. --*Competitors are allowed to place a bet either personally or by a proxy. HOWEVER, they are restricted to placing said bet upon their team's victory or personally achieving 1st Blood(when applicable). --*In the event of a draw (not sure if that's even possible), bets will be refunded (at cost to MD) in regards to any placed on a final winning team. --*Those that don't understand the format change are free to ask for clarification. --*Lastly, all bets are FINAL.
1st to Fall: 4.0 Ebrius of the Hellfist Style 3.8 Ready, Set, Coil (Coil) 3.6 Mason the Maverick 3.4 Strongest Birb there is! (Strong Bird) 3.2 Paul the Peashooter 3.0 Bruenor the Invincible 2.8 Ganathor Stonesinger 2.6 Coma, The Last Thing You Hear 2.5 Catch These Hans! (Hans)
2.4 Nimbus of the Storm 2.3 Temiki Bear Breaker 2.2 Blue Ba Da Dee (Blue) 2.0 Ahooka, Ahoooooka! 1.5 Dahme're the Relentless
Winning Team: 3.0 Eye of the Storm (Ahooka, Bruenor, Blue, Strong Bird, Mason, Nimbus, Paul) 1.5 Wild Heart (Coma, Hans, Temiki, Ebrius, Coil, Dahme're, Ganathor)
Fin wanders back up to the bar taking a seat next to Deceit. (Deceit would notice that Fin's clothing also indicates time at sea.) So a fellow sailor? How are you adjusting to solid ground?
(@Bobo 1st Blood is not a category for this level 2 Match this time around. Due to the share number of people, I was even hesitant to put forth 1st to Fall, but left at least that. So, if want to put the bet down for something else...)

Its a bit too solid. I don't sleep well without the waves. Sorry, I haven't got your name yet. I'm Deciet.
She gives Fin a head bow, careful not to get too close with her horns, also giving her a chance to eye your clothes up and down to search for colors or any nautical markings.
Nothing can rock you to sleep quite so well. I miss the salt on the air as well. You can call me Fin. They do have fairly good fish to eat here though, I was pleasantly surprised. As she is talking to you an owl, mostly white with brown spots, swoops on to her shoulder. This is Fetsu.
(For reference. No hat or sword, and has a wand tucked in the belt at her hip and a satchel over her shoulder.)
Before heading off for the super secret thing-a-ma-bob that few would ever hear of, Mazara makes sure to put down a 100 gold on Wild Heart coming out on top, and another 80 on Blue Ba Da Dee being the 1st to Fall, paying the 18gp while he's at it. "Never underestimate the Underdogs is my Moto."

If anyone points out to you who Og is, you see an enormous half-orc in plate mail, oddly enough carrying a tray with mugs on it.
