(Not trying to influence the betting but I was curious... shouldn't Eldin have a higher stake since I'm pretty sure Eldin has lost the most times of any combatant?)
(That’s strong.here’s a suggestion. Fight from range. Don’t get close. Avoid the spiders and flies, and use your movement to your advantage. Get close, it’s game over.)
(use bonus action to hide, constantly attacking with advantage. When in a pickle, dodge instead. Or disengage, dependin* on the situation.)

Drag'thur, satisfied with her findings at the library, thanks Belle the librarian, and apologizes for her sudden emotional outbursts (happens more often then you think), and leaves awaiting the next arena combat. :)
Mabinio sense opportunity. “How about a Big Failure!” He quickly laughs to himself.
Maginio bets 10gp on Eldin winning (I have hope!) he also pays the vig
Zalandra smiled brightly in return. "For that wonderful suggestion, that'll be... 5 gold vig for you."Was her sweetly toned reply. Looking beneath the underneath however, it is clear the girl was anything but joking. Whether Magnio chooses to apologize or reconsider betting(for today at least), the 'Blue Fang' didn't seem all to likely to change her mind about the vig. That, and not at all concerned about losing at least one customer.
Nylah tracks down the Blue Fang and places 500gp on Parabulous the Fabulous also paying the vig for a 550gp total.
"Eldin seems distracted by his concern for Grianne, maybe he will have a bad match because of that?"
The Blue Fang grins and even giggles a little as she goes about putting down Nylah's bet. "That's certainly one of the main reasons the odds don't favor him today. But, he could always prove me wrong. For better or worse, yesterdays... misfortune--"She growls out the last word, only to quickly catch herself and return to being cheery again. "Proved a, uh, like Boon, I guess you could say. I try not to assume /too/ much."She snorts. "Contradictory tho' that sounds coming from someone like me, eh?"
(@ZulkRS Not a complete answer, but one in part. Officially, though it has/does run the risk of Marm/Zalandra losing more money(b/c Iccly she's still working out the business XD), the odds presented are her genuine view vs what should be put forth to drive up personal profit(ie. setting the odds on favoring the underdog to invite poor betting))
(Whether this will change in the future, I cannot say yet..)

Ironwood goes around town marveling at how quickly things got fixed up. He goes about getting a poisoner's kit, herbalism kit, and healer's kit. He also tries to find someone who could use a pair of old leather armor his kept making him wear. In the process he meets a few rats and gets to know them.
"So, I heard from my lady, Whitney the rat, that the big folk talk to you to turn shiny clinkies into more clinkies. And I was like, far OUT! I need to look into that. So, I did. Don't get it all the numbers though. But, I was programmed that one plus one equals two. So, here." Ironwood puts down his entire savings of 60gp and some lint. "On that horned lizard guy. All in! Whatever that means. Chahaha. I'll be back later to get the more clinkies."

"So foolish. It is one thing to be concerned, but another to not trust in your mate."
Gell says as he drifts in to view.
"Still... Perhaps this match is just the wake up call needed."
At that, the sorcerer puts down 550 gold on Eldin's victory, paying the vig in the process before heading off to the lounge to see about work.
Goyo - [Tortle]Druid/Warlock - Circle of Sea/Celestial (Libretalia)

Grianne has no chance to talk to Eldin before his match. She cleans off quickly and places the maximum bet allowed on Eldin.
