Abubz explains. I know a spell, and I can make my friend, Octy. Not sure you can do it, though. You seem more like a nature type than an Inner Self turned into magic companion type.

I have a competing Orc in the Coliseum of Conquest (always recruiting), Abubz the failure wizard! And he has a 3 win streak (he started with a 6 in intelligence)! Successfully killed a worm and won 3 matches.
Ironwood claps a hand on Abubz shoulder. " My brother. I'm a walking contradiction. The druids that saw to my re-construction knew this, but they had faith I'd find a way to bridge the growing and great divide between the Mother and her children."He gives a thumbs up using his other hand. "The first step on that journey was to look beyond the underneath. To truly immerse myself in the otherside without forgetting my roots, ya dig? Which is why I come to you."
"Take no offense, my brother. But I see the way people see your people, my man. But time again, you've proven them wrong here in the arena. Which is why I think you'd be the best to 'initiate' the next step of our journey to oneness."

Fin
After waking up in the infirmary again Fin gives a curse, jumps up and goes to get some supplies again. After bringing back Fetsu she walks through the town starting in the library then continuing to any places she think might possibly have spell books or scrolls she can seek out. She stops often and ritualistically casts detect magic.
Temiki steps out of the Glory and into a nearby stableyard to call forward a large beast using Find Steed.
"Volgrod!" she calls out as a fiendish ox manifests in the empty air in front of her, kneeling on its front legs before her. She gives it a pat on the head before commanding it to stand up.
In Orcish she says, "You're a fine beast," as Volgrod stands to his feet. "Ready yourself for our next fight." Volgrod snorts and nods it's its head - as well as an ox can, at least.
She'll also go on the prowl for a good, sturdy lance to buy.
Currently playing in: Quest for the Shunned City, Coliseum of Conquest, DragonDenn's Dragonlords, Shipwrecked on Fugue, Tomb of Annihilation, Razor's Lost Mine of Phandelver, The Lost Kenku & One Grung Above
Currently DMing: Princes of the Apocalypse, Out of the Abyss, Coliseum of Conquest—The Arena (Sometimes)
Grianne enters the glory from some random point as she left the underground fighting pit. She is no worse for wear, having only a few bruises from Torens staff getting past her physical barriers early in the match. She scratches, elongating her already tall frame, nearly touching the ceiling. She finds an empty table and eats the chocolate coins, enjoying the sweet experience of victory.
If she sees Eider, she will move to approach him. Unless she sees Eldin first.

Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 12 (8W-4L)- - Coliseum of Conquest: Master of Faerie Fire. Just don't ask her to spell it.
Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 6 (2W-1L)- - Coliseum Reborn : Master of a Myriad of forms.
Runt, the Stormchosen: Half-Orc barbarian level 5 -- The Guild
OOC: Depends on what time Grianne actually comes back. I'll just say Eldin got busy with everything and won't show up until lunch time (Read: After Grianne talks with Eider)
Eider goes straight go the Glory. He's been a bit too into his digits lately and hasn't noticed the new contestants abilities or even kept Portia on the building of his and Torens Academy.
(Eider is free too be approached?)

Grianne approaches Eider. It's nice to be on the same team for once. She says, only a little of her shyness effecting her tone. Can I talk to you about some things ?

The city is teaming with magic from the contestants wandring about, the items they carry and the aura of the Coliseum and the work the shapers do there. There is a magic shop where you can find components, foci, new spell books, and magical inks. (Roll any charisma skill to find scrolls. Sliding DC starts at 15)

(You do indeed get a very rare token. This match taught me that abjuration wizards give other spellcasters a bad time, especially warlocks)
