There is another yell from within the cavern and this time you hear a loud bashing sound, something being struck, immediately followed by a mighty roar. The sound of rushing water suddenly making its way through the cavern echoes throughout, making it hard to hear.
On top of the walkway, Crom spots the goblin watching them, who is pointing in their direction and yelling behind him, deeper into the cave. Ink has clambered up on to the ledge and Ragnarok is just behind him, pulling himself up on to the ledge. (Chensica I'm fine if you climbed up as well.)
Water comes rushing around the bend and slams into Mal and Calantha's feet, trying to sweep them away with its current. (DC 15 Strength saving throw to hold on, on a failed save you're knocked prone and washed outside to the front area and take 1 bludgeoning damage along the way.)
Ink beholds the rush of water that passes under the bridge, and he hopes Mal and Calantha can brace themselves against the flow. Sharply speaking the word aithla, the wizard sends three glowing darts in the direction of the goblin...
The darts slam into the goblin and it falls dead mid-shriek, filling the corridor with a terrible wailing sound as it falls. You hear from behind it screams of surprise and anger.
Crom had begun readying his bow to fire upon the goblin when he heard the rush of water below. Making a split second decision, he leaves his arrows in their quiver and reaches instead for the rope hoping his companions will be able to deal with the goblin. He tosses one end back down to Maland Calanthain the hopes that it would help them avoid getting swept away. Placing his bow on the ground, he wraps the rope around his arm with several feet playing out behind him and braces himself.
As the dying goblin's wails hit Crom's ears, he know he made the right choice putting faith in the others.
"Quick, can someone see if they can tie off the rope behind me to the bridge?"Crom may or may not be able to keep the two down below from being taken by the torrent, but he knows his grip won't hold out forever, and he doubts he is strong enough to support the two fully armoured warriors as they climb.
the wall, giving good footing where it meets the cavern floor, helps as Mal stands strong against the water, He looks back to see how Calantha is faring.
"deal with what's in front of you first, we'll make our way forward and meet you up there, These caves must meet at some point"he calls up to Crom and Ragnarok who seem hurried in their efforts with the rope.
((I've been rolling so badly lately. I am cursed lol))
Not expecting the sudden torrent of water, Calantha is knocked off her feet. Before she can even react, the water sends her rushing along the path they had just taken. It finally spits her out near the entrance of the cave. Cursing to herself, she manages to stand. Taking stock she notes that nothing is broken but she's a little bruised inside her armor from taking the impromptu river ride. She knows she needs to get back to her party as quickly as possible so she runs back the way she came, fighting against the water.
((Dash action to get back to Mal and I will roll Athletics just in case))

With the rope secured as best as Crom and Ragnarok can manage, as an option for Mal and Calantha below, Crom grabs his bow once again. He advances towardthe fallen goblin so he is no longer on the exposed bridge, and so he is between the sounds of enemy forces and his smaller party members. He then draws back an arrow and prepares to fire on any goblin coming into view.
He is holding an attack action. If a goblin comes into view, he will fire his bow.
Attack: 19 Damage: 6
Forgot to mention earlier that Crom also speaks goblin, but he wasn't really listening to the goblin shouts, so he is going off of what Ragnarok said.

As soon as Calantha is caught up, Mal moves north further into the cave, Ignoring the rope and pushing through the running water under the bridge, he moves (his 30 ft) and checks around the corner, on guard.
Calantha also ignores the rope for the moment and follows Mal, still grumbling under her breath about being knocked off her feet in such a disgraceful manner. She holds her sword at the ready. She's ready to vent her anger on these damnable goblins.
Calantha has always had pretty keen vision. Even while she's seething, she notices movement up ahead. She taps Mal on the shoulder and whispers. "Goblins up ahead, behind those rocks and up the stairs. Should we rush them or fall back? I can't quite see how many there are."
Hearing the goblin shouts and canine growls ahead Mal turns to see Calantha catching up "We rush, we get attention on us, we can take hits better than the others, I jus' need to be able to see" Whispers Mal as he holsters his shield to his back and pulling a torch from his pack, muttering thanks to Tymora for his luck in staying relatively dry above the waist.
As he lights the torch he addresses Calantha again "stick close and draw 'em in, If we get overwhelmed fall back and bottleneck 'em here on this corner"
With his morningstar in one hand and a torch in his other Mal screams a terrible war cry in a primordial tongue, resembling the echoing deep rumbling of moving stone that reverberates through anyone who hears it.
For anyone who understands primordial,
"Bring me your best, No one has killed me yet and you will be no different!"

From down the hallway behind the goblin that fell you hear more shouting in goblin. Goblin: "
Get out here! Help us!
" As well as the growling and barking of a wolf.
(Back to you all, nothing emerges into the corridor.)
