Wolves, Bears, Tigers you know the usual I run into them in my travels every once in awhile I have crossed paths with dragons beholders hive minds and a God
"My, my a lot of characters. Just no lions." The dwarf gives a knowing smile. Just then, a dog jumps out of the dwarfs bag and the dwarf goes to let him out.
(OOC): I,m sorry I keep bringing up the bag, but it comes in handy with a dog.
Ah, fascinating. I haven't been up against any gods myself, but I did spend a little time in a dream plane. Well, technically it was a year, but that didn't pass in the outside world. You've got quite an impressive resume yourself. I assume you mean hive mind mind flayers?
OOC: It's fine. After all, I keep bringing up the cake, for absolutely no reason other than I love cake (both in-game and IRL)
"Dragons, beholders, hive minds and gods you say. Like Cloud said, an impressive list." A list that Sura didn't believe for a second to be true. Just posturing from on adventurer to another is all it was. She did believe Cloud's year in the dream plane, however. Seems like Sura's own adventures as a hired mercenary in recent years definitely did not stack up to her compatriots comparatively.

Xazabrax laughs loudly at the list of monsters, impressed by their caliber. He then spots the dog out of the bag and the dwarf entering. He tries to sneak over before getting to the bag’s opening and attempting to peer in.
”Dwarf! May I come inside? That looks interesting and I’d love to see what you’ve got going in there!”
"why certainly. just be careful." The dwarf calls into his bag, "George! A friend is coming into the bag. Do not attempt to kill him." He turns back to Xazabrax. "The bag is a magical piece like a bag of holding, but better. It actually has multiple rooms in which someone could live in. It has a similar layout to a house once your inside, with a mudroom, a living room, a kitchen off of that, a bedroom down a hallway, and a treasure room for loot from dungeons.
That really is a fascinating bag. Was George living in it when you first got it, or did you meet him after? From you telling him not to kill...Xazabrax, I believe you said your name was? I'm assuming that he acts as a guard as well as helping you find things? That must come in handy when camping.
Whisper drinks up his cup, dusts off his cloak and walks towards the door, lifting his paw-hand saying "Have a nice day!".
Thekla cocks her head around "Oh, you're already leaving, Whisper? Do you need some rations?".
Whisper shakes hishead "I'm heading out to explore a cave that's close by. I've heard there are interesting specimen of spiders living there. I won't take long tho. If it's too dangerous, I'll bolt. As usual. I should be back rather sooner than later."
Thekla wonders "Ah, are you working on another book? I really enjoyed your last one."
"Yeah, that's true. I'm working on the manuscript right now."Whisper heads out "Baba, folks."
"Yes, he does work as a guardian as well as helping me find things. He actually came with the bag. See, he is a treasure troll, so he will guard his treasure with his life, and the species actually have no definition of treasure, so you put him in a bag, he guards the bag. The bag thankfully is bigger on the inside, or else George could easily destroy it. The thing is, if treasure trolls get the sense that you are trying to steal from them, they metamorph into a ten foot tall creature that is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen, and have the strength of ten men. But, I got this bag from a hermit I met up on a mountain face near my cousins' place, and have had it ever since. There are some places where you can find these for a lower price, but those are crap.
From the top of the stairs, a small dark figure wearing a grey Poncho-like scarf and a necklace composed of big wooden beads makes its way down. The Michtims ears have small tufts of fur, similar to a lynx, and they are leaning on a quarterstaff, with all sorts of oddments dangling down. A small gemstone rests on the forehead of the furry black creature. Their eyes are a striking bright yellow, and they radiate an easing presence, sounds seem to become muffled, noises quenched. The figure jumps on a bench next to a table for regular sized people (Acrobatics check 13), and doesn't slip on the smooth surface. They blink puzzled, balancing with their staff and then proceed to sit down in tailor-fashion.
They put their staff down, and crack their knuckles. Making swift motions with their fingers, the shadows of his paw-hands start to gain substance and form themselves into a tiny representation of the Tavern (basically a broad tree with windows and doors). The miniature looks very beautiful, but is completely still, doesn't cast any shadows and has a certain dreamlike quality to it. (Minor Illusion) They proceed to make small gestures over the image of the tree-tavern and whispering a few words in Sylvan, suddenly and only for a short moment, a miniaturized storm breaks loose, just above the tree, complete with raindrops and lightning bolts. (Druidcraft predict weather). The figure sighs, closes their eyes and tries to find some rest, while the tree momentarily starts to flicker and whisk out of existence just a few seconds after.
After taking a moment to watch the dwarf and his bag of tricks, and the explanation thereof, Sura took the time to really survey her surroundings. That is when she noticed the small furry people running around. They were everywhere. Sura had never seen them before, and they were rather quite fascinating. One seemed to be off on an adventure or something, writing about it based on the conversation. Another cast some sort of spell and got disappointed at the results. Probably miscast it. Sura sipped her ale and continued to watch these tiny creatures as the conversation continued about her.

Xazabrax becomes wide-eyes with excitement wt the dwarf’s description of the bag. He removes the pouch around his waste and takes his portable hole out of his pocket and places them on a table. He then looks around and says “No one try and take these! And don’t bring them into this bag unles you want to destroy us all!” (Intimidate 10)
He proceeds to wipe his feet and crawl into the bag.
Scarlet nudges Sura and says Pfft what a show off. It's not like he is the only one who can do that. With that she casts Druidcraft. While she is casting the cantrip her cloak starts to billow in the wind (even there is none) her eyes start to glow bright green. She says her last word in elvish and all the light sources go out. Scarlet tries her best to exit the tavern. Oww! She yells while she stubs her toe on something. You can hear the door open and close and a quiet murmur outside and the lights come on outside. If anyone looks outside they can see Scarlet trying to be sneaky(OOC: Imma roll for that.) 7 She is not really doing a good job at being sneaky. She heads towards the stables.
"I want to pull out it's tongue so Timbity can use it as a whip."- W
Scarlet is a red haired wood elf. She is wearing a semi-formal red dress and her green cloak with silver lining. She has a beat up old scimitar at her side. She has dark green eyes and a feather in her hair. Her skin is well tanned.
Thinking that she has successfully escaped she knocks on the tavern door and uses Wild Shape to turn into a cat. She waits.

The nudge on the arm caused Sura's ale to slosh a bit out of its mug, causing Sura to look briefly annoyed at Scarlet's actions. The moment passed, however, and she watched as Scarlet showed off her own magic. There were a lot of magic users in this tavern it seems. Sura wasn't sure what Scarlet was trying to do, but it quickly became apparently as the lights were snuffed out at her command. Then some shuffling, from next to Sura and farther away as the tavern's staff set to work relighting the candles and fire.
Scarlet, it seems, vacated the building out the front door in the darkness. She wasn't exactly subtle about it. Sura was about to carry on with her business, maybe see just what that man meant with the portable hole thing, when there was a knock at the door. Sura waited, to see if anyone else would get it, but it was apparent that that wasn't going to happen. Begrudgingly, Sura stood up and answered the door. For a cat. That knocked. Sura stared down at the creature, annoyed that she had answered the door for this.

Thekla moved over to the door, trying very much to smile off her growing annoyance. "This door is supposed to be open, actually. Hm. Hey little one." she winks at the cat, as if to tell her that she won't spoil the secret of her identity. "We'll get you a cup of cream, right? Is that something you'd like?"
Over on the table, the meditating Michtim didn't flinch a second when the lights went out. Quite the contrary, the darkness engulfed them like the caress of a friend. Their shape blurred in the dark, wispy tendrils of darkness writhing over their body. When the lights came back on, they were gone. Vanished. Only to appear moments later outside the tavern, ignoring the cat and addressing Thekla. (Shadow Step) "Actually, it would be wise to close the door. A storm is coming, we should make sure the horses are safe and the windows are all shut."
The dwarf overhears the offer of help and says, "Yeah, do you need anything? You do so much for all of us, it would be nice to let us do some stuff for you."
