Hun, for the most part, seemed content to listen and ponder over the various points of the exchange, but otherwise didn't appear to thrilled by any of it. Both he and Mrs. Thinn then share a look, then shrugged and shook their head. "I have to agree with Kairus' assessments. More than likely this 'torturer' is in that cavern system if not a ways through and beyond them. Don't mean of course we won't mind up on her shit list somewhow, but who isn't on it these days anyhow?"Hun said with a smirk.
"Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if she doesn't give a shit. Unless the spook in the cage there is someone exceptional, but I somehow doubt that. Otherwise this place would've already been swarming with her faithful again... Speaking of, do you know what happened to the folk that called this place home? I mean, I know you've been in the cage this whole time, but ya must've overheard something in either life or death leading up to this place becoming a ruin didn't ya?" He asks of the caged spirit.

@Kairus: It would seem the apparition's aquatic features are more lost in its ghostly ones than you had initially realized. It could be a triton, a sea elf, a merfolk, or perhaps even a sahuagin. Even their name has some common phonemes among a few of these water-based cultures.
The group begins to ponder aloud where this torturer might be, but the spirit is of little further help on this matter: "Here. Near. I feel her but I cannot pinpoint her location." They stick an arm though the gaps in the cage for emphasis and reiterate their request: "Search. Find. Kill. Free!" To Yulmiath's dismay, the ghost seems similarly unhelpful in clarifying whether they are referring to Umberlee or someone acting on her behalf.
When the "spook" speaks again, it is to answer Hun's question: "It's been a long time. Too long. But I do not know how long. Too long for most to remain alive. Too long for pirates to stay in one place."
With too hands out of the cage now, the specter begs: "Free me. Help me find my peace. Will you kill her once and for all? A reward awaits you."
"Tch! Not sure about all this reward business, but ain't like we weren't planning to be at least a little thorough about clearing this place anyhow. So-..."Hun looks to the others. "Best we be on with it then. Doubt the spook here can be much more help, and we've burned enough daylight as is... Though that said, I'd still like to give that other room Yully cracked open 'fore we head over 'n re-open that secret tunnel."
"No, I've got nothing," suddenly exclaimed Kairus who was studying the "spook" all this time in the hope to categorize it. "Not a triton or a sea elf - neither of us has a tail or such flappy ears. But who that can be..." Finally, he made the most sensible decision about that little problem and simply asked the ghost directly. "Excuse me, can I ask you who are you? Where did you come from?"
Kairus was not completely devoided of common sense and did realize that ghost was expecting a clear answer. "Yea, don't worry. We are here to clean up this temple. If your torturer is really alive somewhere, we will find her and most likely kill. Simply because anything alive, I mean, anything moving in these parts attacked us on sight." "So, who are you?"
It was a mere curiosity, of course, which did not negate the necessity to check the other room. "Grandpa, can you check it with magic first?"Asked he Hun. "I mean, before we enter that next room? Just to be sure nothing will try to attack us right away. Otherwise, I will shoot every single item in there, just to be on the safe side."
"Fill your boots with it, Hun. A statue of herself that sounds as though it's full of water? It's on brand at least?"
Yulmith shurgs and leaves the ghost to its pleading, it's not like he can understand it anyway, and unless their torturer is another living carpet, he doesn't put much money on the Pack making their acquaintance anytime soon.
Hun opens his mouth as if to answer, but stopped short with Yulmiath somewhat beating him to the kobold rubbing at his chin. "Hmn... I'm reminded of the one we keep passing up front. I believe it had a bit of something to it, but I hadn't dared mess with it anymore than needed for the moment." After quieting a moment for further pondering, Hun shakes his head in dismissal of some thought, then regards the group again. "If I'm being spared an actual moment to focus on adjustment, I should have some answer in ten minutes." He admits, then side-eyed the caged spirit.
"... Though if its all the same, I'll focus on getting up and running the hallway."With a few snaps of his fingers, an idol Mrs. Thinn stops playing with the flower on her head, and moved to follow after her creator around the bend. However, on the way out he shoots Rhogal a meaningful look and gestures with his head back to Kairus, but would say nothing more before eventually plopping down out of sight of the cage and starting up goggle adjustments once more. And if able to do so without further distractions, he'd return in due time to give the cage a once over from at least twenty feet away, mentally note whatever is seen, then move on to the room across the hall for a gander at the statue next.
Despite Yulmiath's doubts, the Snackers sort of agree to help the ghost insofar as they come across this "torturer" in the little bit more of exploration they plan to do in this temple and cave system. Even Kairus's vocal agreement sounds somewhat conditional. Then, Hun indicates he is ready to move onward but, with a tinge of curiosity growing in the back of his mind, he agrees to Kairus's request to give these rooms a magical once over.
While Hun begins his adjustments, Yulmiath and Rhogal talk a bit about the rooms, the temple, and the many tricks it had in store for the party of adventurers. Krodhen joins the small talk as well while waiting on the kobold. In the meantime, Kairus tries to engage the apparition in conversation again, hoping to get some clarification on what type of creature it might be. To the bard's dismay, all he gets for an answer is "I am Siburrath, and Siburrath is me."
A few minutes pass and the specter speaks up once more: "Why are you taking so long? I thought we had an agreement. Go! Go on your hunt!"Hun continues his incantations as the others converse to kill time. Soon, the poltergeist's repeated request borders on impatience: "I have waited long, but I will not lose this opportunity simply due to your idleness."
The phantom lunges forward and through the cage, trying to force itself into Yulmiath's body.

Short of a cry of alarm from the others, Hun remained determined to actually finish his adjustments this time around past the bend, blissfully or at least largely unaware and unconcerned for any going-ons with the rest of the group who decided test the spooks patience. Mrs. Thinn, who well by now had returned to her usual dwarf side, had at least kept her head poked out from around the corner, and looked on worriedly as the spook swirled about Yulmiath. But seeing as noone was injured just yet, even she hadn't bothered to distract Hun from his work.

Kairus would usher everyone out, keeping an eye on the ghost, and then close the door. If the spook could leave this place, it would already do so. There was hope, the ghost will remain in the room with the crazy carpet.
"Let's check this statue,"said Kairus, meaning, that Hun will check while he, personally, waits for "clear".
Kairus reacts fast, shooing everyone else out of the room and closing the door behind him! The ghost within extends their arm toward the closing door and exhales: "Noooo...." Shut! After a few seconds of inactivity, Krodhen says out loud what the others must be thinking: "I think your hunch was right, Kairus. It doesn't look like the spirit can leave this room, otherwise it would have certainly done so already."The half-orc gestures to Yulmiath, acknowledging the dragonborn's theory as well.
Everyone agrees when Rhogal calls out the apparition's lack of manners and then they all take a few steps to rejoin Hun and Mrs. Thinn. A minute later, the undisturbed kobold finishes his lenses adjustments and peers into the non-haunted room first.
Hun picks up a magical aura coming from within the statue, and attributes it to the sloshing water inside. It is hard to tell what type of magic it is, though, perhaps on account of its source being completely encompassed by a stone statue. Going on whatever little he can intuit, the artificer senses an out-worldly essence in there. Nothing else in the room seems magic.
(@Ori: Is Hun opening the door to the cage room to peek inside?)
Yulmiath huffs and puffs, pacing the corridor and obviously itchy to be on the move again after his run in with the ghost.
"There anything interesting to that statue, or can we move out? If you want it smashed, I'd give that a go, but otherwise let's weigh anchor and set sail."
"Let it stay there and think about its behaviour!" Fully agreed Kairus. "As for statue... Should we leave it too? Sounds like it will jump on us if we touch it. Or something worse."
Krodhen asks: "Should I try to identify whether either the statue or the ghost are innately evil? I... I usually have a good sense for these things. I just have to concentrate on it for a split second."
"Statue - sure, but I would not open the door to the spook anymore. Let it rot in peace at least until we come across something that can be called "a torturer". Unless this statue is "the torturer"?"Kairus thought a bit more about it and then shook his head. "No, the ghost is too confused to take its words seriously. I bet this thing is just another crazy piece of decoration around here."
Hun, for the most part, seemed content to listen and ponder over the various points of the exchange, but otherwise didn't appear to thrilled by any of it.
