WIS save {DC 15}: 10 (8)
Unsure of where the remaining enemies are, Krodhen approaches the large statue in the chamber and stays ready with a javelin in hand.
(@Ori: You are right. I jumped the gun a bit with that save against the dust devil. It will only affect Hun at the end of his turn. Here's the damage roll: 8)
More perceptive, Kairus's eyes are not fooled by the shadows' hiding attempt. He retreats by finding some cover behind the vat of water but insults one of the shadows on his way there. (Shadow#1 takes 3 psychic damage.)
Disturbed by the incoming Sporicane, Hun commands Mrs. Thinn to serve as his eyes by attacking whatever shadow she still sees. In an interesting turns of events, the construct's attack misses its target, but the artificer's "blind" attack finds its mark. (Shadow#2 takes 12 magical piercing damage.)
It is only then that Rhogal's spell actually gets close enough to damage the kobold, who is unable to stand his ground and is pushed some 10 feet away {KE-105}. (Hun takes 3 magical bludgeoning damage.)
09. Kairus (13/35; cyan) - STR reduced to 11, concentrating on Bane (8),DM's Inspiration Token;
09.Hun & Mrs. Thinn (24/35 & 19/26; green) -
06. Giant Slug
MAP:
NOTES: The floating replica statue of Umberlee is marked by the red skull symbol. It stays in place for now but it is effectively inactive. The swirly red symbol represents the Dust Devil.
(Yulmiath and Rhogal can take their turns. Yulmiath sees one of the shadow while Rhogal sees both of them. Refer to this post for their current locations.)

"No, no, no... You ain't escapin' my eye..." Rhogal says as he moves closer (KF-102) and directs his sporicane (Str save DC 14) to near where is saw the shadows duck into (KA-103).
Using some of the spore from the dusty twister, he wills some to affect the one Ms. Thinn is attacking.

DM's Screen:
STR save {DC 14}: 0
Happy enough with seeing one of the shadows, Yulmiath steps forward {KC-103} and swings his axe. Although he barely feels any resistance, the ineffective blow is enough to dissipate what remained of this enemy. (Shadow#1 takes 9 slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
In moving in for the attack, Yulmiath gets a bit too close to the sporicane:
Rhogal also gets closer to the action, maneuvering his sporicane even closer to the remaining enemy. With his other hand, the druid then commands some of his reliable spores to become active again, but quickly learns that they have no effect on the shadowy enemies.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yulmiath had little to worry about, as he is more than strong enough to withstand the passing dust devil and shrug off the damage that would be caused by the dust it kicked up. (Yulmiath takes 0 bludgeoning damage.)
Still unseen from the dragonborn's perspective, the last shadow surprises him:
The shadow powers through the effects of the Bane spell to hit the dragonborn barbarian, sucking his strength as a result. (Yulmiath takes 9 necrotic damage and his STR score is reduced to 13.)
At this point, Krodhenrelease his javellin, but the throw is uncharacteristically weak. The projectile lands on the ground.
The creature then moves into the nearby darkness once more, being pelted by the sporicane, and hides. (Shadow#2 takes 2 magical bludgeoning damage.)
-> If your passive perception score is equal or higher to the shadow's stealth check, then you can assume you can see it in your turn. If you can see it, pop open the spoilers below:

Distracted by the victory over one attacking shadow, Kairus lost sight of the other. The fact bothered him so much, he began to actively search the enemy around - it could not get too far, as it clearly was finished with them all.
Action: Active search (Perception) 15 (with Luck if needed 7 )
"Ah! There you are, you filthy... filth!" He could not think of a better definition of the annoying aggressor, shrugged the thought, and pointed at the shadow location. "Fifteen feet north from Mrs. Thinn!" Added he for those who could not see the shadow. "Grandpa, your time again to be the hero you always are!"

"Hmph! I'd be happy just to make it out of this one alive!" Hun commented, and yet couldn't help but smile a little, feeling genuinely touched despite himself! So much so that the Kobold called out, "Mrs. Thinn! Follow my lead! We're bringing an end to this ghastly thing!", before charging into the fray! His scrabbling under if not over the statues tendrils is anything but graceful. The exertion left him even breathless! Yet neverthless, once he had an eye on the unnatural shadow, he'd practically stumble into trying to bring the shiskabober down upon it! And where he may fail Mrs. Thinn is not far behind in trying to deliver the people's elbow onto elusive creature following some curt guidance from the inventor.
Movement(Hun): To KA-104.
Action(Hun): Shishkabober the remaining shadow. (Melee, Lethal)Returning Yklwa - Attack: 13 Damage: 12 of magical piercing. (If Hun's roll is a 9 or less, but not a nat 1, burning the inspiration to add 1 to the attack roll)
Bonus Action(Hun): Command Mrs. Thinn to follow and attack the shadow.
Movement(Mrs. Thinn): To KA-105.
Action(Mrs. Thinn): Strike the shadow with Disruptor Elbow! (Melee, Lethal)Force Rend - Attack: 27 Damage: 10 of magical piercing.

Krodhen pulls our another javelin and stands at the ready.
Kairus is less patient. He begins to actively search for the last enemy standing and the effort pays off (Luck point used.) Seeing Hun's eagerness to end this and go home, the bard pinpoints a spot in the darkness and encourages the kobold to do what he must (Bardic Inspiration.)
(@Ori: Whether you know the enemy's location does not change the fact that you cannot see it. The shadow is one with the darkness, so it is not just a matter of gaining line of sight in this case. Without your own perception beating their stealth, I'm afraid your attack should still roll with disadvantage. I'll roll two attacks below.)
(@Drache: The same explanation above applies to Krodhen. Here's a second attack roll for the paladin: 18 (18).)
Hun's confirms the enemy's location with a well-placed stab of his yklwa, but Mrs. Thinn misjudges the size of the shadow and whiffs as a result. (Shadow#2 takes 6 magical piercing damage.)
Now having a general idea of where the shadow is hiding, Krodhen tries his luck with a lobbed javelin. The projectile rains down on the shadow, though it hardly interacts with its target. (Shadow#2 takes 2 piercing damage.)
(@Ori: Your Bardic Inspiration die was not used.)
It is then that Hun realizes he got a bit too close to the sporicane once again.
-> Hun's STR save {DC 14}: 7 Damage: 3 (7,3)
The kobold is forcibly pushed away from the close-quarters fight {KB-106}. (Hun takes 3 magical bludgeoning damage.)
NOTES: The floating replica statue of Umberlee is marked by the red skull symbol. It stays in place for now but it is effectively inactive. The swirly red symbol represents the Dust Devil. I am showing the Shadow on the map this time but Kairus is the only one who can see it.
(Yulmiath and Rhogal can take their turns. Both would have a general idea of where the Shadow is, but can't pinpoint it exactly.)
Feeling the weight of his greataxe in his hands in a way he can't ever remember it, Yulmiath heads around the statue, counter to how Hun and Mrs Thinn. stalked the final shadow. He supposed that he might be trying to catch whatever it is in some kind of pincer movement, but seeing as he can't actually see it, he guessed that it was more a hope than plan.
"Let's try this again... Amethystina!" Rhogal attempts drops the sporicane to throw some glowing spores in an effort to make the shadow creature less able to hide as easily. Using the settling spores from the sporicane and Ms. Thinn as a reference.
Yulmiath goes around the statue and gets ready to strike at any sign of an enemy. Now that he is back here, despite all the darkness, the barbarian catches a glint of metal on the ground. This happens a second before Rhogal's glowing spores explode nearby, catching the dragonborn in the blast.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
All is well that ends well. Rhogal's blast works as intended. None of the spores cling to Yulmiath as they all seem to concentrate on the shadow instead. The barbarian sees his opportunity to release his attack but is disappointed to realize he lacks the reach. Even when the shadow comes for him, the axe swing has already lost its power.
-> Strength Drain vs. Yulmiath: Attack: 3 Damage: 14 (20,9)
-> On a hit, Yulmiath's STR score is reduced by 3 (1).
Another bit of strength is sucked out of the barbarian. (Yulmiath takes 9 necrotic damage and his STR score is reduce to 12.)
The creature is unable to hide given how sparkly it currently is.
(Krodhen, Kairus, and Hun are up next. Mrs. Thinn can perform an opportunity attack against the enemy.)
Reaction(Mrs. Thinn): AoO vs Sparkle Butt. (Melee, Lethal)Force Rend - Attack: 27 Damage: 15 of Force.
Having totally used the Dust Devil the second go around as a free disengage, and TOTALLY not because of a swollen ego thanks to Kairus encouragement making him blind to its existence, Hun eventually recomposes himself, and with Yklwa in hand let out a maniac sounding battle cry while rushing the glowing shadow with Mrs. Thinn hot on his heels! Both having had quite enough of the sneak critters constant blending in with things!
Movement(Hun): To melee with the Shadow.
Action(Hun): Shishkabober the remaining shadow. (Melee, Lethal)Returning Yklwa - Attack: 14 Damage: 8 of magical piercing. (If Hun's roll is a 9 or less, but not a nat 1, burning the inspiration to add 1 to the attack roll)
Bonus Action(Hun): Command Mrs. Thinn to follow and attack the shadow.
Movement(Mrs. Thinn): To melee with the Shadow.
Action(Mrs. Thinn): Strike the shadow with Disruptor Elbow! (Melee, Lethal)Force Rend - Attack: 23 Damage: 4 of Force.
(@Lerus: Apologies for the unclear wordage on position, as no new location was stated for the shadow as far as I saw. But feel free to position the duo wherever would be appropriate.)
