Kairus looked over all the fences separating their group from the pirates. "I feel myself like a racing horse. Would you think focusing on the captain is a good idea?""Go ahead," replied Krodhen, his eyes fixed on his father. "He's my target." Kairus shrugged and in his best singing voice declared the beginning of the duel.
"You are an insult to Umbelee," shouted he. "And here is her message to you." With the last word a wall of water exploded from the sand on the beach, separating the two groups even further. Kairus looked at others and added more quietly: "Let them come to us. Oh, and if some of you add a bit of freezing to the mix, we can get a nice icy barrier to keep things lively."
"The field is yours, mighty Yulmiath. Show them our worth!"
Action: Wall of Water straight, from OS36 to OV30 (should be possible, shouldn't it?) BA: Bardic inspiration to Yulmiath Potential Reaction: Cutting words for 16 (will decide if to use after their move)

Kairus can't pass the opportunity to announce the start of the duel himself. The bard then immediately pivots, weaving magic into his words and erecting a wall of water between the two groups. Kairus briefly explains to his team what he has in mind and tells Yulmiath specifically to go get'em (Bardic Inspiration.)
A second later, the Snackers can only deduce that not only is one of the pirates a spellcaster, but that they must be familiar with Kairus' spell. A ray of frost flies through the wall of water in search of Rhogal. As the spell passes through the watery sheet, it freezes a 5ft length of it.
-> [Tooltip Not Found] vs. Rhogal: Attack: 14 Damage: 4
The pirates begin to move. Soon, two arrows hit the frozen bit of wall. With the wall in place, it is hard for the Snackers to see who is doing what on the other side.
Rhogal was not expecting to be the first target in this fight, so the ray of frost catches him by surprise. (Rhogal takes 4 cold damage.)
The frozen bit of wall is an easy target, but it is tougher than it looks. It still stands. (Frozen bit of wall takes 13 piercing damage.)
At least one more pirate moves closer to the wall, but it seems like they are biding their time a bit. The Snack pack can see three silhouettes on the other side of the wall but it is har to tell who is who. (Three pirates at {OT-26}, {OT-28}, and {OU-29}.)
Knowing he can't close the gap to other group of pirates, Yulmiath uses Kairus' spell to best effect, using it as cover and inviting the other pirates onto them. Opting to keep the sea on one side to protect at least one of his flanks, he skulks along to OW,30 then opts to take a defensive position.

(@MB: With 40ft of movement, Yulmiath can reach {OW-32}.)
Yulmiath hops over the barrier in front of him and moves closer to the edge of the Wall of Water that Kairus created. Paying more attention to his defense than to his offense, at least for now, Yulmiath is the first Snacker who can see a bit past the wall. He can see that the halfing pirate, Dinsly Windblower, is the one located nearest to the water {OT-26}. She wields an appropriately-sized quarterstaff. The other two pirates who advanced (located at {OT-28} and {OU-29}) are still mostly obscured by the frothy, ever-rising water that makes up the magical wall.
Another projectile then hits the frozen portion of the wall:
As the frozen bit of the wall shatters {OU-32}, the party can see that the pirate located closest to Dinsly is Barbara {OT-28}. (Frozen bit of wall takes 3 piercing damage and is DESTROYED.)
You can also see the older human pirate, Cardmon, reloading his crossbow and moving closer. He ends in a spot that keeps him obscured from the Snackers due to the Wall of Water {OR-34}.
Krodhen had the same idea as Yulmiath - to shorten the distance on his terms. And so he did, moving closer to the wall (OX 33). However, he added one twist to the mix, calling for the blessing of the gods in the group's good deed.
Before more of his fellow Snackers could start running marginally closer to the fray, Hun taps spear against shield a couple of times, triggering some inner mechanism to again part the tip and reveal the seeming hollow center of the device for a moment. He immediately points the open end to Krodhen and said, "Hold still! This might sting a little, but you'll feel much, much better after."Despite such assurances, the little kobold inventor didn't give the half-orc much of a chance to response before prodding whatever exposed flesh or gap between the armor with the transformative spear.
The half-orc would then feel a slight pinch before his vision suddenly became clearer, the colors of the world became more vibrant, and adrenaline and dopamine levels would begin to rise within krodhen, filling him with certainty! "There we go! You can win this! You feel great! Now get in there and show'em!"Hun cheered him on further before with a small battle cry of his own, he scrabbled over the fence-line and rushed to the nearest boat for a measure of cover as the spear reset.
Action: Cast (1st level)"The Good Stuff" on Krodhen, granting 4 regenerating Temp HP and Fearlessness.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hun stabs Krodhen with suspicious substances and finds a vantage point right at the liquid wall. From there, the kobold can confirm Ozor's position {OU-29}.
Krodhen reacts to the immediate hormonal boost by rushing closer to his companions (Krodhen gains 4 temp HP.)
The half-orc then calls on Tyr, a visible affront to his father's belief on Umberlee, and blesses himself, Yulmaith, and Hun.
Far from this end of the battlefield, Freddy Mangels rushes toward the fight. He takes advantage of the gap opened on the wall of water and hops on the beached rowboat to make a visible threat to the opposing team. Freddy Mangels stops moving as soon as he sees the first enemy within range of his long blade. He stops right next to Hun, balancing atop the edge of the rowboat there {OU-32}.
LEGENDARY ACTION
Seeing that his muscly subordinate is the first to get a chance to swing a blade, Ozor commands Freddy Mangels to do just that: "What're ya waitin' for, ya Seadog. Lop his head'ff!"
With a line of sight to some of the pirates, Rhogal hops the fence and (to OV-37) takes out a couple of mushrooms and says, "Amanita." and throws them at Freddy and Barbara. The spores spring out of the caps and move towards their eyes.
Rhogal hops a fence and approaches the Wall of Water with dark mushrooms in hand. A moment later, the pirate who had just attempted to hit Hun frees one of his hands and covers his eyes! "I'm blind!" he screams!
The second target for the spell seems unaffected by and unaware of the development.
LEGENDARY ACTION
With a smirk, Ozor sends an arrow at the one target he has been waiting for. The angle is just so that he can avoid the wall of water:
The father draws the son's blood first, rather than the other way around. (Krodhen takes 9 piercing damage.) -> Cutting Words brings the attack roll down to 17, which misses. (reference).
-> Krodhen's concentration check on Bless (DC 10): 9 (8) -> the spell drops.

(Also, Krodhen did not lose Bless - Kairus declared the use of Cutting Words as a reaction when needed. It was 2, enough to make the arrow a miss)
Kairus stepped closer to the action (OX35) and made a gesture as if stopping something. The arrow from the pirate's bow scratched Krodhen's armour and dropped on the sand. "Not on my watch, "captain"", said the triton and in turn sent his own bolt, though, not at the silhouette of the orc behind the waterfall, but at the blinded fool on top of the boat. "Nice work, Rhogal! Let me help a bit too!"
