It takes Mrs. Thinn several longer moments than it had with the analyze the floundering pirates from before, but eventually she concludes that the weakened man too was not an enemy or hostile. For the moment. If anything, he was a prisoner in much the same way as the Tortles, or such a danger to the crew itself somehow that he fell under "potential ally" catagory. But as her current "command" demanded that she hunt down and destroy all nearby enemies, the construct departed for the double doors only after plucking off the remnants of her battered flower topping and placing it on the chest of the ill human.

Kairus side-steps the cold projectile and retaliates with a good ol'crossbow bolt. He is a lot more accurate with his attack than the rebellious tortle. The bolt looks like it went it almost too deeply. Although there is no blood on the tortle's skin, it is clear the shot was quite debilitating. The tortle falls to the ground in pain, parts of her body "clip[ping" through the deck. Then, a fraction of a second later, she starts to float again. The groan of pain is constant now. ("Rebellious Tortle" takes 8 piercing damage.)
The other young tortle in the room gasps. He asks of Eeyal while pointing at Kairus: "What is happening. Is he a pirate?" Eeyal replies with a bit of reluctance in her voice: "No, no, he is a good sailor... Hmm.. That tortle is a pirate... Right?" She turns to ask the triton.
Down below, after a moment of silent analysis, Mrs. Thinn decides to ignore yet another non-threat and continue her search (after leaving her flower behind). Behind the double doors, the construct finds a room whose walls are lined by benches. Four holes carved in them house chamber pots. Looking about, should she decide to continue her search, the only unexplored path is a set of steps leading even deeper into the belly of the ship.

Kairus doubles down on his claim and ignores all visual indication that the floating tortle is done fighting. The pain has fully incapacitated his enemy but the triton ran out of forgiveness. A second crossbow bolt puts the bard's foe down for good just before his levitate spell runs its course. The tortle visage shows no wound or blood, but plenty of the crimson liquid spurts out and splatters against the far wall and the young tortle who was looting. ("Rebellious Tortle" takes 8 piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
The youngling has fully backed up to the wall now, his eyes frightened. As Kairus claims he is the good guy, the young one finds it hard to not believe his eyes. He screams in fear: "Help! Murder! Save me!"
Down below, Mrs. Thinn takes an extra minute and additional implement to confirm that nothing of interest hides in the depth of pirate excrement. She then plunges deeper into the ship, arriving at its vast bottom level. The hold of the vessel has been designed to house both passengers and cargo. The ship's off-duty crew sleep on bedrolls among the crates and barrels of food, water, and other supplies, though no person seems to be here now. It is visually clear that most of the fresh supply haul has been pillaged from Ahoyhoy.
At the other end of the hold, one last pair of double doors remains unexplored.
Should the pirate really be done fighting, she would drop the disguise as was asked multiple times. She did not and Kairus had no remorse about ending her life.
He lowered his crossbow now and once again addressed the young turtle with problems of face recognition and listening comprehension. "Once again, it is not a turtle. Get to the body and touch it. It was a disguise spell hiding a pirate. Go, check it for yourself." (Persuasion: 28 and even add Luck if needed: 12)
"Now get back to your looting but don't spend too much time here, the ship is on fire." He waited for the turtle's reaction.

If Mrs. Thinn could but narrow her eyes, she might've in that moment. Alas, her creator failed to furbish her with any charcoal or paint, so drawing in angry eyes was ALSO off the table. So with other distractions except kicking bedrolls and fishing around in the barrels for anybody in hiding, the construct made steady progress for the final double doors ready to kick them down if trying to opening them by hand yielded not the desired results.
There is no remorse for pirates. There is no patience for slow learners. Kairus puts an end to the pirate search and convinces the frightened tortle to confirm the bard's claims with his own hands. The teenager does just so, although it still takes a bit more time than Kairus would like for the tortle to fully internalize what happened before his eyes.
When the triton reminds those around him that the ship is on fire, he turns to see that many tortles have now moved to the lower deck so they can retrieve the stranglers and wounded, as well as their looted belongings. Looking up, the fire has now claimed much of the sales and upper rigging. Eeyal begins to direct the younger folk to jump back into the sea.
Down in the hold, Mrs. Thinn advances more slowly than Hun would probably have liked her to. She is as careful as her programming permits, but finds it difficult to confirm or deny the presence of any humanoid in this level of the ship. Eventually arriving at the final doors, she kicks them open, whether such maneuver is need or not, and reveals an armory. The ship's supply of weapons and armor is held in this cabin. Its walls are fitted with built-in weapon and armor racks, much of which are missing, presumably used during the duel that evolved into a brawl.
With the matter of the pirate and the frightful youth resolved, Kairus made one last sweep of the ship before joining the evacuation party. Should he encounter Mrs. Thinn, he will inform the construct that pirates are eliminated and the last two are in the custody of the turtles (turtles' property if this works better).
Should he come across anything living and unarmed (like the man Mrs. Thinn saw) - he will help too.
The general idea is to get everyone alive and swim to the shores. If the pirate ship had dinghies and they can be easily utilized, he will try to use them for the most injured.
Mrs. Thinn just stands staring at the armory for the longest moment, assessing (again in her own limited way) the pros and cons of putting in the time to destroy the implements of war, and in doing so permanently ruin any changes of hostiles forces sustaining themselves. However, such forward actions went against the prime directive. So, she left, casting aside her poopy stick to head topside. If/when she is later informed Kairus of the status of things, she bows once in thanks for the answer, but doesn't stick around to try and notify anyone of her findings in any meaningful way unless asked while in the general vicinity of said noteworthy things at the time. For without any hostiles or enemies to destroy, her only concern at this point was swimming back to Hun's side and stand guard until her creator awoke again, shielding him from the sun with her body.

Kairus sweeps the ship and notices that all doors have either been opened of busted. Beyond one of them, he finds the human prisoner. Three tortles are in the process of using Eeyal's tools to unlock the unconscious prisoner's manacles and, likely by brute force, eventually achieve their goal. Kairus watches as the three tortles nod at him and carry the man away. The triton recognizes the prisoner as "Hun's human."
Soon, Kairus bumps against Mrs. Thinn, who stops to listen to the bard and then exits the vessel. Trusting the automaton to have completed a sweep of her own and fearing the ship will soon be lost, Kairus then focuses on making sure the injured tortles make it into one of the emergency/landing rowboats. All of this takes some time, but Kairus is naturally falling into a leadership position and guiding the many tortles to complete their exit tasks efficiently. Eeyal helps Kairus in this effort, including by reminding her many fellows that this ship is not going anywhere and that they can come back for their belongings once the wreck settles.
Some time later, all surviving tortles are back in Ahoyhoy. Kairus is standing at the beach and looking out at the sea. The Renegade, now completely claimed by the sea, is just the freshest shipwreck in the island's shallow water. In the background, totles are busy placing their belongings back into their appropriate places, making plans for recovering what went down with the ship, honoring their fallen compatriots, and letting the sea reclaim the fallen pirates. It is now Eeyal's turn to naturally fall into a leadership position. She is guiding the many tortles in their tasks, as well as making sure that the two surviving pirates pay their dues in the form of helping in the clean up and rebuilding of Ahoyhoy. Kwilgok is also back by now, feeling a bit guilty about missing all of the action. He is nonetheless happy that the Snack Pack and the tortles won the day in the end, and is being as helpful as he can in assisting the injured tortles. Deadly Treasure is back too, will all of her haul (including the party's loot) re-strapped to her large frame.
Mrs. Thinn shields Hun from the sun. The kobold has just opened his eye and sat up. His entire body aches, and he notices that the tortles have reclaimed Ahoyhoy around him. On the beach, only the fallen Snackers remain, all others victims of the fight now removed. Kairus stands by the edge of the water, Krodhen is starting to stir awake, and Rhogal is still deeply unconscious but breathing normally. Yulmiath is there too but, unlike the dwarf's, his chest is not rising.

Kairus sat heavily on the sand with the rest of his team. There was no point in moving anyone to the village yet, with all the noise of rebuilding and cleaning up. A fresh sea breeze would do wonders for anyone right here. For those who could awake, at least.
The triton has not felt so tired since... probably forever. The adrenaline that had fueled his every move during the battle had faded, leaving him feeling drained and in need of rest. He looked at Hun with the sad shadow of a smile. "Try not to move just yet, Grandpa."Kairus placed the cittern on his lap. "We won, the island is free. But Yulmiath did not make it."
He touched the strings of the cittern and they answered with the deep sad sound, the melody of a teary victory, into which Kairus weaved echoes of swords clashing and spells erupting, the pride of unwavering determination and the sorrow of the loss. A reminder that every path has its consequences and yet the journey should go on. A promise to honour the fallen and forge a future that would make their sacrifice meaningful.
The sound of the ocean waves merged with the melancholic melody, creating a soothing harmony, offering solace and gentle healing of the soul. There was still much to do but for now, everyone could just rest.

As Hun is scanning the horizon, Mrs. Thinn took notice and excitedly knelled down to help the Kobold up onto his feet, distracting him from looking too much into Yulmiath's strange condition. "I'm fine I'm-...!!"The kobold pauses mid pained waving off of the construct to look sharply at the Triton. "He... What? What do you mean he didn't make it? He's right there!" He replied angrily and gesture over to the Dragonborn. "Don't be so -- Oof! Don't be so dramatic, young blue. He's just out cold." Hun further asserted, though with some pained grunts and groans in between words as he climbed back to his feet.
"Our old crew used to joke he sleeps so stiffly he slept like the dead! Heh. I-I'll show ya. Just, uh.. Just give me a second to wake his ass up 'n he'll be right as rain..."By the time Hun had trailed off, the kobold had maneuvered around to kneel by his head, and was in the process of rubbing his hands together to get a big of a magical spark going between them before the reality finally hit him while staring down at the Dragonborn.
At which point he went completely still and silent for a few moments while Kairus played his song. Mrs. Thinn eventually stepped around to place a hand on the Kobold's shoulder. Though rather that was to console him or get his attention is a little tricky to say. But after a few moments more Hun began to tremble, grit his teeth, and let out a low, sharp hiss before squeezing his eyes shut and shaking his head. "....... No... No, I won't accept this. I won't.. I shan't... And noone can or will make me." He stated coldly under his breath as a lone tear fell. Hun then opened his eyes and added more openly, "And I'm a Kobold of my word, Mr. Yully. So don't get too comfortable on the other side just yet. You got treasure to spend and a retirement due." Hun then turns to Kairus and just about barks at the Triton a command to help, but stops short of uttering a word as the song finally and truly registers to him.
... But even so, it is a grunt of mild annoyance that he sends Mrs. Thinn away to search the village for needle and threat. In the meantime, Hun marches his way over to Rhogal, and with far less tenderness than he had in mind for Yulmiath, gives the dwarf ye old blessed slaps to consciousness across the cheeks. Though the act would physically pain him FAR more than it would Rhogal, he still said through gritted teeth and with a determined glint in his eyes, "Wake up, Mossbeard! Fightings over, but there's work yet to do. You got any magic that can preserve a body? If not... If not see to Krodingus over there -- But don't bother with... leave Mr. Yully be. I'm... I'm gonna work on something to preserve the body so I can take it back to the main land. So no getting any funny ideas." He says, wagging a finger at the Dwarf.
With a bit of a cough and another grunt of pain, Hun stands once more and made his way over to Krodhen's father's body, even though every old bone and barely batched up bit of flesh wanted nothing more for the kobold to rest! He even at one point muttered upon eventually collapsing to a knee to start searching the body, "We rest when we're dead."
Hun wakes and begins his trip down the five stages of grief. It starts with Kairus delivering the fated message and then providing melancholic background music to help the rest of the group come to terms with the aftermath of the battle. It helps, even if just a little. Soon, the kobold is making promises to his fallen comrade. However long it might take for him to find a solution to death is of little importance to the diminutive artificer.
At some point during the kobold's monologue, Rhogal is forced awake by a series of curative slaps. Hun's words quickly bring the druid up to speed. Yulmiath is gone. If one is to believe Hun, this is only a temporary condition, but the Snackers might still have to buy some time. At least, that's Hun's plan. While he considers his response to the artificer, Rhogal looks about and sees the tortles preparing a large pyre.
Much like Hun, Krodhen wakes up of his own accord. It takes some time for the large half-orc to understand exactly what has happened. He begins removing his pauldrons, a slow process symbolizing him lifting a tremendous weight off his shoulders. "You paid the price earmarked for me, Yul." The paladin's greaves are cast aside. "We freed this world from one of its worst pirates. Many generations shall benefit from our success, though they might never know of it." A breastplate hits the sand with a muffled thud. "But I will know. I will know that I have all of the Snack Pack to thank. And I will know one of us made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure we succeeded." Wearing only the clothes that usually serve as padding under his armor, Krodhen collects his Cloak of Billowing and lays it atop Yulmiath. "Rest in peace for now, brother."
Off to the side now, Hun collects what he can from Ozor's body (which had been dragged away by some distance by the tortles). His implements of war are still of some use. Like his son, he wore full plate and carried a small arsenal with him (greatsword, shortbow, handaxe (x2), a full quiver). He also carried a pouch full of valuable gems on his belt (worth 1,000gp). For all his pride, it seems the orc didn't carry on his person any magical loot from previous pillaging ventures.
In the background, Mrs. Thinn approaches the party with what she believes is what her master had asked for. Kairus's song still plays.
"Stop right there! Drop the disguise!" Kairus blocked the exit from the cabin and pointed his crossbow at the obviously levitating "turtle". "You two - restrain that thing. It's not a turtle, it's a halfling pirate in disguise."
