@Yulmiath: Holding your axe in one hand in preparation for the worst outcome, you look in other directions and confirm that, for now, the approaching band is coming strickly from the south. They do not take any specific battle formation at their current distance. They are trying to use patches of tall grass and bushes to conceal their approach, but are not doing a particularly good job of it. There are no other bands heading your way as far as you can tell.
@Kairus: Eeyal can sense the obvious sarcasm in your words and assumes a slightly defensive posture. There is a sense of pride of the homeland here that you might have poked: "As I told you before, this is mostly a wild island. Survival is all that matters. If you are not hunting, then you are being hunted, and most likely you are doing a bit of both at all times. If you are bothered by the simplest rule of life, perhaps you should not have come to the wilderness of Chult and the Snout of Omgar."
The packers keep an eye on the approaching threat and a couple of the spellcasters prepare their incantations. Hun is ready to go on the offensive with a frostfire bomb, while Kairus is hoping to scare away the band of spearmen by enlargingYulmiath and letting the dragonborn roar as loud as he can.

Encouraged by the other Snackers, Yulmiath waits for the right moment to give Kairus a signal. The bard releases his enlarging spell just as Rhogal decides to beef up the dragonborn a bit further.
Three or four of the approaching spearmen and spearwomen seem to hesitate for a second. Seeing the majority of their companions continue their march, they recompose themselves and keep going. As they approach the party, they begin to take a more tactical formation as if partially enveloping prey. It is now obvious they are the tribesman Eeyal had mentioned: they wear clothes made out of furs and hide when their bronzed skins are not showing. Some of them wear wooden battle masks depicting horrific monstrous faces and all of them are adorned with crimson feathers. The Snackers have seen those feather in the blood hawk they fought earlier in their voyage. They teeth are colored black, possibly by charcoal.
Hun picks one of the tribesman and releases a frostfire bomb. There was little chance this was going to be resolved by words, and the kobold's initial attack all but guarantees it.... well, that and Yulmiath's size. The dragonborn can likely feed their entire village for a month in his enlarged size!

Looking at the array of humans spread out in front of him; Yulmiath knows he needs to keep their attention fixed firmly on him.
"SO YOU'VE CHOSEN DEATH! PREPARE TO MEET YOUR END!"
Yulmaith begins his rage, blue sparks of static electricity running along his muscles and arcing into the air around him. Stomping forward to DC/DB, 83/84, he brings his greataxe down on the human at DD,84 looking to split them in two.
Attack: 12 Damage: 13 plus 1 from being a big boy.
An arc of blue electricity arcs from Yulmiath's greataxe as it hits the ground, travelling along the ground to the human at DF,83. They need to pass a DC13 DEX save or take 1lightning damage, or half damage on a success.
(OOC - There is no way Yulmaith isn't immediately using Rhogal's guidance, that stuff goes off quickly!)

"Go get them, dragon!"sent Kairus an exciting encouragement to Yulmiath and paused for split second thinking about his next move. The attackers looked hungry but not that strong. However, there were way too many of them and Kairus attempted to first rectify that sad fact.
"Why don't you take a nap?" he almost sang this suggestion to the group of them (Sleep the second lvl at DE/DF 81/82 for 27 )
"Not enough for you punks! Then have at thee! I got plenty more where that came from!" Hun barks, semi-regretting have climbed off of Mr. Thicc, but nevertheless just managing to rush just close enough to chuck the rock shiskabober at a foe. Mr. Thicc is hot on his heels, but only by so far before taking up a defensive position near his creator.
Movement(Hun): To CV-87.
Action(Hun): Shishkabober Strike at Cannibal Tribemember(CW-89). (Thrown)Returning Yklwa - Attack: 14 Damage: 12 magical piercing.
Now that Hun has already started things off (Tribesman#13 {CW-89} takes 2 cold damage), Kairus "releases" the dragon by encouraging him onward (Bardic inspiration). Strumming his cittern, Kairus then entices a couple of enemies to fall asleep where they stand. Three others manage to resist the spell, yelling unintelligible war cries is response.
Rhogal also jumps into action by calling on his spores to suck the life out of the northernmost enemy. Her right legs begins to turn a sickly purple color. (Tribesman#18 {CR-89} takes 4 cold damage.) the druid then taps his staff on the ground, awakening whatever powers reside within.
Hun rushes toward the enemy he had just hit. He is holding his yklwa in a trowing grip. Just before engaging the enemy in melee combat, the kobold chucks his weapon while Mr. Thicc catches up with his master. The shishkabober pierces the foe's guts, spilling many of its contents on the ground. Despite the grievous wound, the man still stands. (Tribesman#13 {CW-89} takes 12 magical piercing damage.)
Now standing by Hun, Mr. Thicc prepares to defend not only himself but the artificer as well. Meanwhile, standing her ground, Eeyal loads a bolt onto her crossbow and pulls the trigger.
In the best shot the party has seen Eeyal take so far, the tortle hist her target square in the chest. She must have missed his hear just barely. (Tribesman#4 {DF-78} takes 7 piercing damage.)
(@MuggsHill: I'll auto-pilot Krodhen here so we can keep going.)
Yulmiath also gets a chance to go on the offensive before any spears fly at him. Approaching one of the humans who avoided Kairus' spell, the dragonborn brings his axe down and nearly separates the man into two halves. Although the gash left behind is surely something the warrior cannot recover from naturally, for now, his heart still beats. (Tribesman#15 {DD-84} takes 15 slashing damage.)
An electric thread rushes toward another nearby enemy by fails to reach him.
Seeing Hun and Rhogal getting ready for close-quarters combat, Krodhen takes a more central position {CV-83} and blesses his companions so the can fight with even more gusto. The half-orc also benefits from the spell.

One of the cannibals shouts a command and, in unison, they all move closer. A second later, sixteen spears rain down on the Snackers. Only the unconscious warriors fail to throw their weapons; even the tribesmen who are nearly dead manage to attack. One of severely injured ones throws his first spear at the nearest target (Hun), while the other simply pokes Yulmiath. In fact, most of the spears are aimed at the biggest prize among the Packers, but no one party members is ignored:
Kairus doesn't even notice the spear thrown at him. This must be this hunter's first hunt. The spear flies way over the triton and lands far away from the center of the battle.
Eeyal, on the other hand, is hit by just as accurate a shot as the one she had delivered. Her hard chest scales help stop the spear before it pokes something vital. (Eeyal takes 8 piercing damage.)
Half of the spear attacks aimed at Yulmiath fail to pierce his scales. The ones that do only manage to draw a bit of blood each. (Yulmiath takes 7 piercing damage.)
Mr. Thicc swats a spear midair, launching it at the spear aimed at Hun. Both kobold and construct avoid getting hit by the latter's action.
Krodhen purposefully lets a spear skid off his armor. That's why the half-orc has been wearing such cumbersome apparel in this tropical jungle island after all.
Rhogal wasn't expecting a spear to be thrown at him from a northeast direction. His arm pays the price. (Rhogal takes 4 piercing damage.)
