Krull glances back at Wolfe "it would be useful..but we can always lead them to us here where we can see!" and he gives a spin his greataxe..he stretches his neck back looking up at the sky and then he says to Edryd "what do you say priest better here or in there?"
Edryd nods. "See as I do. My lady's gift should serve you for an hour best to be prepared now I think." His eyes flash grey as bestows the gift of vision to Wolfe and Krull.
[Just a note - you probably know this already but darkvision in darkness = dim light; shadows, no colour. Only Krull and Wolfe don't have darkvision. The additional rolls for stealth/perception are fine in this circumstance].
Mau gets to, and passes, the stairs silently. As Rabbit moves by, she has a bit of trouble but nothing loud. The snarling intensifies and you hear chains being pulled taut in the room to your right. You look within and notice glints of light reflecting on eyes in the darkness. Wolves. They seem to be chained up, though you look at the stakes connecting the chains to the ground with doubt. The wolves sniff the air and continue growling. You'd wager they know you are here by scent alone. Mau, your thoughts wander to the age old battle between the canine and the feline.....You don't see any signs of goblins, however. At the back of that room, you note a darker area that looks like maybe a narrow passageway going upwards.
Up ahead, the main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream. Keeping close to the wall, you peer out. In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, you can just make out the dim shape of a rickety bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you. Another passage intersects this one, twenty feet above the floor. 17.
..17.......You see that the passage goes to the right and ascends quite a ways...
"Hah, excellent Edryd." Wolfe says, looking into the dark tunnel to test his newly acquired darksight. "Wonder how they are doing in there." He adds, sounding a little worried now.

Currently you all can see them they’re aren’t that far ahead of you. That’s without the Darkvision.
Rabbit nods to Mau to continue on towards the bridge, still remaining silent. She is ready to follow his lead. She keeps her eyes and ears open for any dangers.
(Not sure if I need new rolls, but Stealth: 7, Perception: 4)
"Oh, there they are." Wolfe says in a lowered voice, peeking into the tunnel. "They seem to do fine then." He adds with a yawn, returning to his deck of cards.
At Rabbits urgings Mau continues on towards the suspened bridge, hugging the wall on the right hand side as tightly as possible. He stops periodically to listen for any noises coming from within the cave, especially from up above.
As he reaches closer to the bridge, Mau inspects the wall surface looking to see if there are any handholds in the wall to allow him to scale up to the other level.
"So...Wolfe you said u came from baldur's gate right? How is It there?I heard only stories..never being able to travel that far as it is very far from my homeland " asks Krull filled with curiosity
"Nothing much to see really Krull, unless you would like to visit the most wretched hive of scum and villainy along the Sword Coast." Wolfe answers with a smirk. "It's patriars have a great deal of wealth though, primarily from the trade with the colonies overseas to the south. Perhaps your adventures will take you there some day Krull but I think Phandalin will be a much better place for the likes of you." He finishes, again looking into the tunnel, waiting for a sign to follow Mau and Rabbit into the lair of the goblins.
"Bah and they are supposed to be civilised!.Better to have to deal with frost giants..at least they are straightforward.." says Krull with disdain...he looks at Wolfe "perhaps icewind dale is more of a heaven for the likes of me..can't say is cold but its beautiful "
"I'll never understand why people congregate in such large and crowded spaces. The freedom of the night sky and peace of the darkness surely this is this is preferable to corruption and villainy of your 'civilizations' I hear so much about..." Edryd asks earnestly.

........15......Mau, as you creep up a bit further towards the bridge, you clench your teeth together as Rabbit makes a bit of noise behind you. As you look at the moss-covered walls, you do notice some handholds that you could use to climb upwards. Suddenly, you just hear the faint sound of someone or something moving across the bridge towards the east, the rope bridge moving a bit in response to footfalls. Someone is moving rather quickly across it. As the person/thing on the bridge passes overhead, you sigh in relief. However, seconds later, you hear some muffled high-pitched sounds somewhere to the east. You also hear some separate distinct sounds, almost like someone hammering on rock. The rush of the stream water covers up most of the sound however.
What would you two like to do next? Below is a map of your current location.
Krull, Wolfe, and Edryd - you are still outside looking in. But as Mau and Rabbit move around the corner, you lose sight of them...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rabbit scowls, aware of the noise she made. Not wanting to speak, she points up the rock wall, where Mau seemed to be looking to climb, and shakes her head 'no'. She then points along the path, nodding 'yes'. She waits for Mau to move along though, trying to keep an ear out for further sounds or movement.
Mau nods in agreement, climbing up now would be foolish, and continues to move up towards the steps. Once he reaches the steps will keep as low as possible to view what lies ahead, leaving enough room at his side for Rabbit to see as well.
(The word rush is worrying me ... has the stream intensity increased since entering the cave?)
Aware they may be pushing their luck delving deeper into the cave system and that the others may not even be able to get passed the wolves without alerting the goblins he motions to Rabbit, questioning whether they should turn around.

Wolfe and Krull, you enjoy darkvision for an hour (darkness = dim light).
