Wolfe gives Krull a nod as he joins him. "Good morning, see you got that bath, excellent." He says with a smile, which widens as Rabbit joins them. "Good morning Rabbit, hope you slept well. Krull says lot of things happened last night, do tell me about it all." He says, still smiling, but as Rabbit points out leaving the cart in the street might not have been such a good idea his smile quickly disappears, in fact he looks devastated for a moment. "Hrm, yes, very good of you to secure our payment Rabbit, very good. My sincere aplogies for this oversight on my part." Wolfe says, sounding very sincere about it. He seems to perk up a bit as he notices Rabbit is wearing the dress again. He then stays uncharacteristically quiet and listens to Rabbit, smiling again after a while. "It sounds as you have it all planned out for us Rabbit, bravo. Now, seeing as collecting gold is our primary interest here might I suggest that we start with paying the Lionshield Coster a visit. They might just reward us for bringing information on the whereabouts of some of their property." He humbly suggests, hoping for forgivness for his irresponsible behaviour.
Rabbit gives Wolfe a brief glare but answers him pleasantly. "Good idea to check the Lionshield Coster. And yea, I want to get paid if I'm getting attacked. Sorry if refusing to do things for free injures your sensibilities Wolfe." She looks at Krull, giving him a smile once again, "At least Krull agrees with me."
Again seemingly demolished by Rabbits words Wolfe turns his attention to his breakfast deciding to not speak any further on the matter. He is however ready to follow along when the others hit the streets of Phandelin.
Edryd considers the older man's words carefully before responding. "I am no mercenary... I care nothing for coin or the things of day. Everything that is needed is provided by Selune. I will spread her grace until my dying breath. I intend to go back there and I will cleanse the darkness of the corruption of those beasts." His eyes growing wide as he speaks then he inhales and takes a short pause before continuing, "As for my companions. I do not know their purpose. They seem to enjoy gold and wine so I will not speak for their intentions. I will need help to spread the night, I hope they will join me even if their motivation is not pure."
Edryd leans heavily against a nearby tree catching his breath from the hard work. He wipes the sweat from his brow using a dirty rag that was stuffed into his armor. "This place is good. I will stay here and drive these evils from the night. Be those evils Redbrands, goblins or undead they will know the wrath of Selune if they do not repent." A determined and somewhat disturbing look crosses his face. "All I ask in return is for the people of this village to open their minds to the Lady of the Night. I would like a prominent space and resources to build a shrine to my Lady. Can this be arranged?"
[sorry Ed. I missed this question earlier - DM] Daran nods at your words, grinning slightly. "Glad you think so, Edryd. As for setting up a shrine, well, there's no law against it, of course. But it'd be hard to take on something like that with those thugs about. My guess is they'd beat you up and rob you, make you pay a 'protection fee' or some other nonsense."
Again seemingly demolished by Rabbits words Wolfe turns his attention to his breakfast deciding to not speak any further on the matter. He is however ready to follow along when the others hit the streets of Phandelin.
Where do you guys want to go now? Edryd - did you wake up yet to the distasteful smile of the hated Sun?
Rabbit looks at Krull and Wolfe. "Probably should wait for Mau. And Erdryd, if he decides to come back to civilization. Might have to go looking for him..." Rabbit glances around, as though perhaps she will catch sight of him coming back in, but then she turns back. "So do we split up or stay together to explore. Let's hit the Lionshield first. Then go from there?"
Mau rises late, his muscles and joints aching from the punishment taken the day before. He eventually makes his way down to the main floor of the Inn with his leathers donned and sits with the group giving a nod in greeting not wanting to interrupt the conversation. “It sounds as though these red brands have the town scared, we will have to tread lightly. If we ask too many questions of the wrong people it may highlight our presence.”
Rabbit nods. "Think you're right Mau. Surely the Townmaster will have some info. If talking to him raises suspicions, then I'm not sure how much luck we'll have anyway. We see him after the Lioncoster."
Having finished her own meal, she waits until Mau has a chance to eat then gets up, ready to head out.
Edryd rises with horrid blinding sun. He wipes his face with his dirty arm and then wipes his dirty arm into his even dirtier beard. Dreadful this light... Let us see what curses it brings.... He thinks to himself as he stumbles down back to the inn to see what his "companions" are planning. He is also worried about the trouble here in town. Perhaps the Wolfe will have an idea.
He would enter the building and look for anyone he recognizes. He would head to the table and sit at chair after pulling it away from the others so he is not too close.
"This town has trouble. Ruffians making good people's lives miserable. This needs to be dealt with and we should do it. We can not protect from outside threats if there is danger from within..." He looks around nervously. "Probably not safe to talk here... They are everywhere!" He seems a bit paranoid twitchy this AM "Let us find a place a bit more private, perhaps my orchard, it very nice there."
As you are readying to leave, a much healthier-looking Sildar comes down the stairs with a pair of what look like militia and nods to you. He throws a pouch on the table, which clinks loudly. "My thanks,"he says to you. (the pouch has 50gp in it for your escort from the hideout). "I'm headed out in the town, there are a few people I need to talk to. Come find me at the Townmaster's Hall if you need anything. Be careful, I've been hearing some concerning things are going on in town..." He goes and talks to Toblen, who has since entered the bar area. After spending a few minutes chatting, Sildar comes back and laughs. "Well, looks like you're expected back here for lunch! Apparently, boar is on the menu. Toblen will hold a few rooms for you if you need them, just let him know. Otherwise, that crafty halfling will rent them out if he can!"
"Good morning Edryd, glad you could make it, hope your sleep in the orchard was to your liking." Wolfe says as the priest enters the Stonehill Inn. "Rabbit and Mau collected our reward for taking Gundrens goods to Phandalin. We were thinking of visiting the Lionshield coster to inform them of the whereabouts of their property and then over to the townmaster regarding Phandalins problem with these Redbrand gangsters."
Wolfe gives Sildar a nod as he comes down the stairs. "Boar for lunch, fabulous."He says as he swings by Toblen about holding rooms for them, another night at least. Assuming everyone is ready to go Wolfe then goes to the Lionshield coster. "We'll see you at the Townmasters hall later then Sildar."He says as he leaves.
Edryd eyes grow wider, "Yes! You already know then! But be careful they are everywhere and could be listening... if you intend on helping with this you can continue to count on me."He continues in hushed a voice, "They stay at a place here in town, The Sleeping Giant it is called. Led by someone called Glasstaff. My host last night seemed to be a good man and he is very worried... I will join you as you travel to these places I have some business to discuss with the townmaster." Edryd pauses for a moment then continues in a rather off hand and almost flippant manner, "Also, the dead are rising to the northeast... another atrocity against the night."

"Yes, Rabbit mentioned the Sleeping Giant I think, but this Glasstaff, any more information on that character? And the dead are rising, sounds ominous, please expand on that subject too?"Wolfe says on the way to the Lionshield coster.
You all watch as Elsa comes into the inn, stumbling a bit. Her head is down and she has one hand up to her face. As she gets close, Trilena looks up from wiping tables and rushes to her. She hugs her and walks her towards the back. She lifts her head at one point and you notice she is sporting a cracked and bloody lip, and her eye is puffed up. She's taken a few hits from someone, that much is certain. Trilena sits her in the back and yells for Pip to grab some items for her. Trilena receives the items from Pip and starts to clean her wounds...
Elsa whispers something to Trilena, who immediately looks over at your table...

....buuut before Wolfe had time to leave the inn Elsa came stumbling in. As he is very perceptive of womens needs he quickly walks up to her and gently lays his hand on her cheek and with a radiant light her lip and eye are again as lovely as last night (Cure wounds 11 ) "Who did this to you?" He says, a deep anger growing in him now.
Krull's veins seems to pop on his forehead as he sees the woman being hit by someone.he steps up and goes nearby her saying with a calm voice "speak girl and I promise you i ll have his head!who was that coward?! "
Rabbit makes sure to give Edryd and Mau their portion of the reward she collected last night (30 gp each).
After Elsa has come into the tavern and she notes her injuries, her eyes immediately go to Wolfe and her hand moves beneath her cloak. But as she watches she relaxes a bit, though she still watches the interactions very closely.
