The former prisoners eat ravenously, then climb to their feet, though their walk is still a bit unsteady. The party escorts them into town, to the inn, where they sit around the fire and eat the food provided by the innkeeper, who was awoken by the noise.
"How about we wait until the morning and have any town guard finish sweeping the manor then? We've already cleared the leadership and a majority of the group," Alarion suggests.
"Works for me." Kathrin says with a yawn. "We got our new friend out there settled with some bodies, got the main threat taken care of, and have rescued the prisoners. All a good day's work in my opinion." She smiles brightly as she brushes some strands of chestnut hair behind an ear.
"As you say lady Kathrin, a good night's work." With that Gabriel begins to head out back to the Stonehill, "I could go for something to eat, and an ale or three. What say your Grzak?"
The party celebrates, eats, and rests overnight at the inn, all provided free of charge by the innkeeper, grateful for their action against the Redbrands.
In the morning, Sildar sits with them as they eat breakfast. "Well, my friends, our next course of action seems clear. We must find Cragmaw Castle and rescue Gundren. Are there any objections?"
The older of the women the party rescued comes over. "I have nothing to repay you with, but I can tell you where there might be something that can. My family had an herb and alchemy shop, where an emerald necklace was hidden in the floor. I expect it would be reasonably valuable."
"I agree with you Sildar. Our next step should be to rescue Gundren." Look over to the woman, he smiles. "It glades my heart to see you looking well my lady. As for payment we need none, so the information you give us is just a boon. Where might your herb, and alchemy shop be?"
"Seems like a good next step." Kathrine agrees. "Do we have any idea where this castle is located?" She just smiles at the older woman as she approachs about the payment, letting her companion speak for them all.

"Thank you my lady. Thundertree...hmmm I think I ha e heard the name before, but can't place it." Gabriel tries to remember anything about about that place.
“I think I’d like to grab a shield on our way out of town. If that’s ok with everyone.” Grzak says as he pushes himself away from the table and stands up.
"Sounds like a plan." Kathrine says. "Stop on the way out of town for any supplies anyone needs, then off to find our dwarf friend, before anything bad, or more bad, can happen to him." She smiles and is ready to move out.
You travel down the woodland trail for a few hours, eventually approaching a dilapidated castle. It consists of seven crumbling towers of different sizes and heights, but the upper stories are all in varying states of collapse. A short flight of steps leads up to a terrace in front of the main entryway. Past the wreckage of a pair of sundered doors lies a shadowed hall. Round towers loom over the entryway, with dark arrow slits looking down on the terrace.

Do we feel the old manor was fully checked out now or do we need to return there to finish that off?
Grzak feels the same discomfort. We need to clean out that wound or the infection can spread.

Grzak nods. “I am hungry. A few drinks and a soft bed sounds good, also.”

Alarion holds up a sheet of parchment. "The goblins gave us this map of a rough area for the castle."
The woman laughs self-deprecatingly. "Can't believe I forgot to tell you. It's in the ruins of Thundertree."
"Thank you my lady. Thundertree...hmmm I think I ha e heard the name before, but can't place it." Gabriel tries to remember anything about about that place.

Grzak picks out a shield to his liking and gives the proprietor 10gp.
