Lich
The Lich moves South a few squares, out of Lyra's line of sight, then casts a spell. [spell]Evard’s Black Tentacles A mass of tentacles fills the space around the doorway and spreading into the room to the South. Donlas and Lyra are both in the area of affect. Each of them needs to make a DC 19 Dex save. On failure take 10 bashing damage and become restrained. The lich then moves back North into view of Lyra again. "When I drain your life forces I will become imortal..." He cackles in glee.
The gray square is the black tentacles.
Batter and Donlas
Batair is in the chamber with the lich, who is out of sight behind the tree to his North and West. Donlas has just been surrounded with wiggling black tentacles and needs to save against them or take damage. The gray squares are also difficult terrain. It is your two's turn to act now...
((Note: Lyra is at F12, not F14 per my correction earlier, within 10' of Batair... of course that might change the area that the Lich casts the spell.))
((Note to Donlas: both Lyra and Donlas should get a +3 to the save due to Batair'sAura of Protection, along with a +d4 due to bless which Kosmos also gets, though he's not targeted here. The dex saves, damage and restrained condition are at the start of each player's turn, I believe, so Lyra should wait to make the save until it's her turn.)).
((Sorry DragonDenn! One more question. Evard's Black Tentacles says "Squirming, ebony tentacles fill a 20-foot square on ground that you can see within range." If the Lich moved south out of view of Lyra to cast the spell, it couldn't see the square that Lyra was on, let alone the square that Donlas is on, right? It doesn't say you have to see the center of the square, it says you have to see the 20' square - as in all of it, right? I don't think truesight lets you see through walls. So I was thinking it could not target the squares Lyra or Donlas are in, then?))

Donlas easily keeps the tentacles from grapping him.
Mad at the Lich for taking his children he uses a bonus action to cast Shadow Blade before he walks through the tentacles through E11 to D10and forward to A6 to be right in the lich's face. He then attacks (with advantage due to being in a dimly lid room) putting in all anger he has into the psychic blade.

Moving around the wall, you enter the chamber and bypass the contained tree. Rushing right up to the lich, you slash at them, but they raise a shield to deflect your attack. Lyra though casts counterspell to cancel the lich's shield spell, allowing your attack to land. The area in front of the lich, with whisps of fire curling in it, erupts in fire that sear into Donlas. Donlas takes 8 fire damage. Even with the attack, there is no sign of damage from the lich, as a arcane ward absorbs all of the damage from Donlas's strike."No meer mortal can harm me!" The lich cackles. "Even more so once I drain your life force away and become imortal..."
Batair
Calling on your divine sense you pause in confusion, as you sense no undead anywhere nearby. Still you move on towards the figure Donlas just attacked.
Lyra
Lyra, you would realize that, going by the rantings of the lich, they are not sounding like a true lich. Why would a true lich rant about draining life to become imortal, as they would already be imortal.
Tree
The Tree rails against the inside of the force wall, but can do little else.
Kosmos and Lyra
Donlas and Batair have moved in to confront the lich directly. The tree is caught in a sphere of force. Lyra though is among wiggling tendrals of blackness, and needs to make a save. Kosmos is up near the far side of the tree from the lich. It is your two's turns to act...
((Lyrastarts in F12, not F14 per her previous turn - still inside the Black Tentacles and regardless more than 10' from Batair, so no Aura of Protection. I'll take care of her dex save first, then put the rest of her turn in another post.))
Bonus to add to save from Bless: 4 DC 19 Dex save from Black Tentacles, (add above roll to this): 21
If necessary: DC10 Constitution save to maintain concentration on Wall of Force - Lyra has a +9 and has advantage due to Eldritch Mind, so I don't think she can fail: 14
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lyra'sEldritch Blast, +11 to hit, plus 1d4 from Bless, but at disadvantage due to Foresight. Damage per beam now 1d10+9 instead of 1d10+5 due to Hexblade's Curse. All damage is of type force.
Beam 1 Bless bonus to hit: 3 Beam 2 Bless bonus to hit: 2 Beam 3 Bless bonus to hit: 1 (Add these to the respective hit rolls below).

Description: Shaking free of the Black Tentacles, Lyra moves F12-->F11-->D10-->C9-->C8, still making it despite difficult terrain slowing her for the first few steps.
Lyra's eyes are turning a terrifying dull, flat black and the faintest outline of ghostly black wings are beginning to form behind her. ((Manifestation of her patron, The Raven Queen of Shadowfell)). The black tendril between her and the so-called Lich thickens... her voice is still guttural, almost like the quorking of a giant, black raven... (Raven Queen is not evil, but not good either... she drains life).
"No Lich you are. A mad arch-mage, perhaps. The life drain may not go in the direction you hope today. I am the ghost of Christmas future."
She uses her action to fire 3 Eldritch Blast beams at the non-Lich, see above (at disadvantage, but with Bless and Hexblade's Curse).
IF Donlas used up his Bardic Inspiration during his save earlier - he can wait until after his roll and he got a 32, so I don't think he would have - Lyra would use her bonus action to give Donlas her final Bardic Inspiration. "For the children."
Kosmos hops over the wizard/lich thing and takes a crack at him with his magical quarterstaff..
Attack: 30 Damage: 17
Attack: 25 Damage: 11
He uses a ki point to make one of his hits that land a Stunning Strike, the thing needs to make a CON save of 15 or it is stunned until my next turn
Kosmos uses another ki point to use his Flurry of Blows so he can have 2 attacks for his bonus..
Attack: 14 Damage: 7
Attack: 15 Damage: 10
(Using advantage assuming he fails the save, use first roll if not)
I have no way to access the individual rolls, all I can see is the result. If someone wants to post the first roll for each of the above, then I can use them, otherwise I'll need you to reroll all of those you used advantage on.
You easily slip free of the tentacles and move into the chamber witht he lich. Sending three blasts of eldritch power out you thrill as each strikes true. The lich does not appear to take as much damage from the magical blasts as it should though, and none that shows on its body. The arcane ward around them seems to dim though, clearly depleted by your strikes.
Kosmos
Kosmos rushes around and strikes at the lich directly. Both of the two first strikes land solidly, and now you see the lich grimace in actual pain, the arcane ward gone and actual damage being done. At each hit though Kosmos takes damage in return, as the fire shield flares up... First hit does 8 fire damage to Kosmos, second does 6 fire damage. "How dare you harm me..." The lich rails. "I am going to be imortal..."
Lich
The lich sees Lyra as his most dangerous foe, so casts Maze targeting her. Lyra, are you going to attempt to counterspell this?
