"A pleasure to meet you Professor Sharpbeak; Silverquill is my planned college, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other over the term," Rhydian says with a smile.
As Noey snags his arm, he turns to ask,"Tulli, why don't you come with us for a drink at the tavern? I'm sure we can find you some answers there, and we can then take a bit of time to explore the campus?"
Noey stretches, having caught her breath after the exertion of gathering the wind. "Is the scavenger hunt over..." She looks out at the room. Surely the other students are watching the heroes who ran towards the danger? Noey looks uncomfortable. "Um, nice to meet you, Professor Sharpbeak, but, um, I'm feeling a little tired after that, I'm, um, with your permission, going to head out..." She snags Rhydian's arm as she passes by, pulling him along, saying under her breath, "...for a drink. Now."
"Of course you have my permission. On behalf of all of the faculty, I hope you enjoy your time at Strixhaven."

Noey will lead the crew to the Bow’s End, which may be open for lunch service? “Javenesh!” she calls out. She bellies right up to the bar, leaning over to see the secret stuff that is surely stashed below the bar, rather than the expensive stuff on the high shelves. “I need something that’s not too embarrassing to drink before noon, but will settle nerves after getting attacked by a drooling, chomping, scary chest. No, this is not a metaphor. What a first day!”
She will settle at a table with the others. “So that was exciting. Hey, where are you all staying?”
DM > what’s the situation on dorms? Is there an option for off campus housing? Noey would have elected that option if it was possible (being older and of means).

Amber tells Noey the name of the dorm she’s been assigned to.
*I think Strixhaven having off-campus housing would be a good idea. Most universities and liberal arts colleges have it as an option for older students.*

"We have a few ciders that you might like. Besides that, we can get almost anything within a few days, if you plan on fighting chests regularly." The second part is so deadpan it's almost difficult to tell if it's a joke.
*Students have the option for off-campus housing, as long as they can arrive in time for their classes every day.*

Because she's talented, Noey manages to both blush and also quip, "Only in my dreams, Javanesh."
"Cider will do, and thanks." At the table, she says, "I've taken a room in town, it seemed... more appropriate or something. The Judge insisted."
*There's no guarantee Noey was getting to class even from a dorm, so yeah.*
“Probably a good idea for you,” Amber agrees. “But imma check out the dorm life for now. I’ve never really been away from home that much except for the short time I stayed at the tavern, so I think dorm living would be good for me.” Amber appears to be about 17 or 18.
“Oh, sure that makes sense. You guys are always welcome to drop by my place though, if campus ever gets to be too much.” Noey describes how to get there, probably with an address and vague directions.
Then she looks expectantly at the others.

Then she looks expectantly at the others.
“That sounds awesome!” Amber agrees. “So what do you wanna do now?”
"Um, now?" Noey looks puzzled. "Like, do we go around the table and tell our stories to everyone? Or, like Never Have I Ever?"
Amber shrugs. “Maybe we should just go back to our rooms and get unpacked. I’m sure we’ll see each other in class.” She drinks some of the drink she ordered while everyone was talking.
Noey chuckles, "Naw, that's what I call my mother. She's a Sova Judge in the Azorius Senate. Nobody in my family thinks it's funny, which is why I do it."
Tulli takes a sip of the cider and makes a dismissive sound. She then sets the glass down but doesn't take her hand off it. "I'm fine with the dorm. I used to live in a lodge with the other druids, so I think it would be a good fit for me. But, Noey, having your own place is so cool! And what's that game you're talking about? I don't think I know it."
Noey looks a little uncomfortable. "I, um, I don't think I could handle a roommate... so many awkward... awkwards." She shakes it off, "Um, no, we don't have to play that game, at least not without something stronger than cider. We'll play it sometime, Tulli, I promise. And besides, you guys want to get back and settle in, I'm sure," she glances at Amber. "And I really should spend some time actually thinking about school. I mean, that's why I'm here?"
She reaches into her slung purse for a crumpled schedule, flattening it semi-successfully on the table. "Do we have anything else tonight? Or is it just free time until tomorrow's classes?" She peers at the paper.
(DM > anything else tonight, or is it free (role-playing) time until classes in the morning?)

“Roommates can be awkward,” Amber agrees. “I hope I have a single but I’m not sure.”

Bryella smiles gratefully at Noey. She wasn’t sure where she was going to go after all that commotion. “I’d love to join to you!”
“Awesome,” Amber agrees with a smile at both Noey and Bryella.

Tulli looks around the tavern and seems excited. “Wooo! I fought a box monster on my first day! Time for Tulli to get turnt like a proper student!
”What do you guys recommend?”
