Sindri you are not particularly worried about the situation, but Chonk you are pretty sure that the chicken will be dead in around ten minutes due to suffocation.
The Llama snorts and looks at the merchant, then back at you but for time being makes no answer.
“Oh! Thank you for the warning! I thought it was odd that he just disappeared like that.” She opens her bag and in her haste sticks her head into the bag to look for the chicken.
Sindri you find yourself staring into utter darkness. In the distance you can hear what sounds like Pwok but you can not see him. You are also struggling to breathe.
The rest of you are walking along watching this happen.
Sindri quickly pops her head back up with a look of panic across her face. "Little Pwok!" she cries then reaches in the bag trying to find her beloved chicken.
Suddenly a bit startled by the look of panic on Sindri's face, "What? Just get it out of there!"Guroz tries to help by going to hold the bag, while she reaches in to search!
The merchant chuckles quietly as they watches the disappearing chicken act.
The rest of the day passes without incident. You pass the odd roaming cow and the occasional sheep. Not of the mutant variety, but no bandits and thankfully no monsters. Eventually however, the sun starts to sink low in the sky and the merchant begins to look a little nervous.
Chonk found himself smiling for much of the day. Whether it be the banter of his traveling mates or the rolling scenery that passed around him, he sincerely appreciated where he was and who he was with.
Although he was trying to keep at the front of his mind looking for threats and defensible positions (rises on hills, clear sight lines, etc.), he was being lulled in by the foreign beauty of this cubical land. As the shadows lengthened, his focus snapped back to seeking shelter at the urging of the merchant.
”Right! Everyone keep your eyes open for that symbol. Hopefully a bunker is nearby.”
Chonk earnestly seeks for evidence of a shelter as he continues to lead forward.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sindri as well was enjoying their hike after the shock of almost losing her chicken! As the merchant mentions finding shelter, the whole idea seems to foreign to her. Back home, the night was when different creatures came out and she enjoyed them as well. But, she wasn't home any longer. She wondered if she ever would be home again?
Lefaris walks along, her eyes constantly looking for the symbol, as well as any other place they could use as shelter for the night. She glances to the merchant as he brings up the need to be finding somewhere to rest. "I am keeping an eye out." She informs him with a smile. "Worst comes to worst we can always start a fire and hope it keeps the zombies away, but let's first see about finding one of those old shelters..." She continues to keep a look out for the signs.
Chonk and Sindri you lead the search but have little luck as no signs or appropriate shelters are apparent. It is you Lefaris who spots what appears to be ruined stone work peaking from the tall grasses off the road to the left.
The sun is brushing the horizon now and a bloom of red sunset is beginning to colour the early evening sky.
"Pwok in bag? Yes yes! Any seed?" The chicken scurries up and allows you to lift him into your pack Sindri. You drop him in... and he vanishes.
Walking over and talking to the Llama then, it gives you a long and thoughtful glare. (Roll persuasion or animal handling, your choice).

(Yikes, she hopes the chicken is ok as he disappears!)
Casting guidance on herself (hope that's alright, if not don't use it), she asks with persuasion 6 + 2
Ha! like guidance would have mattered - yikes!
"Keep chicken away... I stay away!" The Llama is not friendly at all, "No riding, I am not Pony."
Sindri and everyone who saw her put the chicken in the bag can make an Arcana check.

(I have put a person in a bag of holding before - I don't want to lose Pwok!)
Sindri arcana check 10
Sindri looks a little upset at the llamas answer, "We did reunite you with your owner, you know. You don't have to be so mean."
Chonk's Arcana check: 19

“Yo, Sindri! I wouldn’t leave Pwok in your bag for long. If you want, Pwok can walk with me up front, away from the llama.” Chonk warns.

Guroz stops, looking back at the others and shakes his head - quite unaware, "what games are those two playing now?"
