"Something is wrong." Lefaris says with a frown. "Someone in there needs help." She glances to the burlier members of the group. "Can one of you break down the door?"

Lefaris follows her companions inside. She searches the darkness with her darkvision as she moves, seeking out those who mean them harm, as well as anyone looking in distress. Perception: 17
Chonk and Lefaris you enter to find a villager, the Tanner you presume tied to a chair and standing behind them another one of the strange bandits you fought on the road. They are holding a crossbow levelled at you Chonk and a dagger pressed to the Tanners neck.
"Stay back!" the Pillager growls.
The rest of you hear those words from the outside.

Chonk skids to a stop, but his eyes keep moving. Throwing up his hands, showing he’s unarmed, he looks around the shop for other assailants or another exit.
”Woah, woah.” He calls out in a somewhat submissive and conquered tone. He will begin slowly sidestepping, not directly advancing on the bandit, but keeping the crossbow trained on him while he tries to cut-off any escape.
Perception: 13
(Hopefully his passive perception already gave him the information his rolling eyes are missing now)
"I think you have a problem." Lefaris says, eyeing the bandit with a frank look. "You see there is no chance you will come out of this ahead." Nodding to the tanner she keeps her eyes on the bandit. "If you harm him I can guarantee you will not make it out of this place alive. If you give up now, and explain what you want with the tanner anyway, then I might be able to talk my companions into just taking you prisoner, and you will live to see another day." She continues to hold his eyes. "It is your choice, but make it now, or you will force us to make the choice for you."
While Chonk and Lefaris head in and talk with the ones inside, Sindri can tell the situation isn't good, she tries, going around the outside of the building to see if there is another way in...
Chonk you see no other assailants in the store as you take in the interior.
Lefaris your words sink in and the bandit looks suddenly scared. "I leave...you let me leave and the villager lives. No prisons. I go!"
Guroz and Sindri while this exchange is taking place you make your way around to the back of the building where you find the back door slightly ajar. You can clearly hear the voices within.
"I don't believe you have hurt anyone as of yet." Lefaris says with a glance around the chamber. "Tell me why you are holding this tanner here and I'll consider letting you go free." She eyes the bandit. "Don't try my patience though, this is the only chance I am giving you, so tell me what you are doing here now."
