Ashley makes it out the door to see Silas just a few feet behind Two. At her command, the earth under his feet warps and reaches up around him, stopping him in his tracks.
At this point, Silas brings himself round to the front of Two, the Goliath enraged as his image flickers between that of himself and his own father, he squares up to the restrained man, "Explain yourself! Am I to believe you a traitor?"

Ashley catches up to the two of them and holds her hand out in the same shape as the earthen one. Looking a bit crazed with her hair all a flame, she glares at the man and with a fire crackle in her voice, "Answer him. I will know if you deceive him, and it will hurt."

Malachi comes downstairs to a scene of confusion, watching the strange traveler they sent away earlier flee out the door with Silas and Ashley close behind. He could tell at a glance the man was dangerous, and sensed it some way too. He barely registers Ashley’s warning, but ‘this is bad’ was all he needed to hear.
“What the hells..”he murmurs and follows the two outside, stopping short when he sees them surround the man, now restrained in stone and earth. He waits cautiously to see what happens next, ready to offer his support wherever he can.
"I am no-" He winces as the hand squeezes. "I am no traitor! I am as always have been loyal. You want me gone? I'm out of here. I will go report to your father and the Hand as you have requested. I only hope you have not turned traitor yourself!" he spits. "How much does she know?" He looks at Ashley.
From his eyes appears angry but also panicked.
Samir reaches the cellar to find mostly sleeping bodies. Not seeing any of his companions, he heads up the makeshift stairs to the main floor where he is greeted with an empty room, an open window, an over turned chair, and a scorch mark on the table with a mug atop it.
Silas catches his breath and calms hid tone now that Two is restrained, he leans in and mutters "she knows nothing, not even my name... But she is helping me along with a few others. Calm yourself please, I'm going to speak to you privately now."
In his head Two hears Silas' tones once more, "the mole is the least of our problems and not one that The Watcher is concerned with, give this message to The Hand directly, at least three large ships approach from the west from unknown lands across the amethyst sea, they will reach the caves below Talmouth's grand hall, likely within the month they threaten to bring destruction, prepare the city by any means. I have work to do here for The Watcher, I will make Delirium proud as is my purpose, don't doubt my actions, they are the will of The Watcher, I will attempt to return before the ships arrive."
After what seems to Ashley as a moment of silence between the two, Silas speaks vocally once more toward the held man, "do you understand? This is for the good of our plans and for the good of the city, if the preparations aren't made I will know you had conspired against me, remember that The Eye has the ear of The Hand." The last confusing words are obviously a threat but they are not made in anger, Silas speaks merely as a statement of fact. He then takes Ashley's hand, if she lets him and takes another deep, calming breath waiting on Two's response.
"Calm yourself, but don't let him go just yet." She hears softly in her mind, almost a whisper.
Ashley lets Silas take her hand, but she doesn't really reciprocate, just lets it happen. When he talks to her within her mind, she doesn't react, nor change her demeanor or intensity. Makes it hard to tell if she heard him or understood.
(I find this image very amusing - the large goliath holding hands with the fire genasi, as on fire as she can be and she's about 5'3" tall, both looking on to a man being held in an earthen grip, only illuminated by the stars and the glow of Ashley's fire)
Two stops struggling as he listens to Silas. After a moment of thought, he seems to resign himself to a decision. He bows his head down slightly from his constrained position and says, "Understood. Your message will be delivered, and it will be done."
Ashley and Silas can both tell that the fight seems to be gone from Two. He is scared, something that Silas knows he is not used to, and he is humiliated. There is also an anger, simmering under the surface. But if Silas knows one thing about Two, it's his absolute loyalty to his father.
"you have my thanks..." Silas stops squeezing Ashley's hand and nods to her, in a knowing glance, telling her she should also release her grasp of Two.
He then turns to leave, heading back toward the bar, head high and stance strong.
Samir, on seeing the disheveled state of the room looks around in confused bewilderment for a moment, trying to piece together what in the world could have happened. Finally, he notices Malachi just outside the door and steps over to look out, fidgeting with his glasses as he looks on, still rather confused by the scene.
Joren tries to sit comfortably in the lab/prison chamber while keeping an eye on the three unconscious cultists and listening for anyone approaching along the far tunnel, trying to get through the cave-in which he has shored up. He attempts to take a short rest.
"Well at least everyone at the Inn can be relaxing and having an uneventful break, not worrying about things with the excitement having died down," he thinks to himself, oblivious.
As Silas turns away from the man and moves back to the inn, Malachi reaches a hand out to stop him. “What was that all about? He is your father’s man? Can he be trusted?”
Malachi pauses and licks his lips nervously as he looks around “We also need to talk about what you saw today. About what we saw. Does that happen to you often?"
"Malachi! Are you okay? We need to get you inside! Get you some rest" Silas casts weary glance back toward Ashley and Two to see what she is doing with him, before attempting to lead Malachi back inside and out of earshot of Two "we should talk, figure out what we saw, I felt you there, they didn't like being observed, we shouldn't try that again. I'm sorry"
As they reach the door way Silas stops to watch Ashley
After resting for what he would estimate to be about an hour, Joren hears a sound echoing from far down the cave to the west, away from the inn. A long, loud roar that sounds distant, but amplified by the acoustics of the tunnel
Ashley's hair slowly dies down as she stares at Two. "Never sneak up and put a dagger to my throat again. You will not live if you do." She watches him as the earthen hand slowly crumbles around the man, awkwardly lowering him to the ground. She waits until he leaves before she moves to go back into the Inn.
When she enters the inn she finds a chair and calmly sits, trying to make sense of what all just happened and trying to get a handle on her emotions. She looks around at Samir, Malachi, Marion and eventually Silas. When she gets to him, she holds his gaze. "I thought I started to understand what was going on here. I thought.. I don't know what I thought. But, you just told that man that we don't even know your real name? And then you spoke something to him directly in his mind, why could you have not spoke it outloud? Are you still keeping secrets from us?" She then hangs her head and slowly shakes it. "I do know I'm really tired, Silas, whoever you are, I can tell you are a good man, I will still do what I can to help you, I just wish you could trust us as well." she appears to melt in the chair with that having said, visibly drained.
Then it looks like she just realized something..."Where's Joren?"
Having followed Malachi outside and come across the sight of Ashley and Silas confronting the stranger, Marion has stood guard silently, hand on the hilt of her sword, as the incident played out, close enough to respond, but not close enough to by directly interfering with whatever the pair had begun. Picking up enough from the confrontation to understand who this man is, and what she may have missed while upstairs, she stands watching warily, waiting for it to conclude.
As the others begin to return to the inn, she keeps a close eye on him as Ashley releases her spell, intending on following him as he departs to make sure he really does leave, and doesn't simply take up watch on them once more.
Marion would like to tail him from a fair distance, not too close, but close enough that he is well aware of her presence. She isn't trying to be subtle about it.
