The door is fortified with wood.
(Thredash) The door splinters in two! However, you find yourself stuck in the doorway. (Goblin sized door.)
(Garmuk) You're right behind Thredash ready to unleash horrible, nasty death on the puny goblins, when Thredash comes to a sudden stop. (Dex Save. DC 13 to avoid running into Thredash.)
Slow deep monkish breathing relax and focus in on the joyous singing of the orcish bloooaahhhhd!!!!
DOOOORRR!!!!!
and he smashes through and into the wagon, attacking the first goblin he sees with his quarterstaff and then a good swift kick
Attack: 18 Damage: 4 quarter staff
Attack: 11 Damage: 4

Thredash stops moving forwards stuck in the goblin sized door....
oooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thredash notices forward progress has ended. He looks around at the interior of the wagon and says o! Crumbs! When will I ever learn! A soon as I get my hands on that one eyed trickster I'm going to KKIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thredash is shoved into the interior of the fortress by a raging Garmuk. Two goblins are dispatched by your attacks. What immediately catches your attention, is the large trench dug into the ground down the middle of the fortress. A ladder is propped up against the north wall of the trench.
Soren peeks his head inside, looking and listening, still concentrating on Guidance. Ah, the wagon is just an over-ground cover for an underground entrance of some sort? For some reason he cracks a smile when he thinks about his own caution, the even more extreme caution of Brix the gnome, and Ursa the Bearfolk's studious interest in books when approaching the wagon. In the end, the two half-orcs Thredash and Garmuk had the right of it, just charging in and making quick work of the goblins.
Thredash stows his quarterstaff before following Garmuk, the ladder creaking in protest. He draws a dart when he gets to the bottom...Not every wall needs to be run through...
(OCC: Bleh typed a whole post and didn't post it. Haha oh well.)
Brix stifles a chuckle as he watches the unorthodox entrance of the two half orcs. Morbid curiosity causes him to creep up and join the rest in surveying the inside of the goblin fort. As he watches the rest pile into the trench he retrieves a couple small vials of liquid. One from the bandolier hanging over his left shoulder and one from the bandolier hanging over his right. He inserts them into recesses on the back of the gauntlet on his right hand. He gives each a turn locking them into place. He lifts a lever located between the two and the liquids in both bottles disappear with a barely audible slurping sound. With a little extra effort, the levers handle is locked back down. Satisfied his contraption is ready for use he starts investigating the upper part of the goblin lair. He looks for clues to the goblin origins as well as what they've been up to since their arrival. As always he's keeping an especially close eye out for components he may find useful later.
Investigation: 18
"Watch out for traps! These kind like to leave nasty surprises for unwanted visitors." He reminds those heading down into the trench.
Traps? Okie dokie...Keeping an eye out for traps (rummages through his pouch) O dear. Garmuk? Do you have any extra eyes? Brix wants us to keep one out for traps, and I'm all out...

Ursa's turn.
I will walk up to and if possible into the wagon.
1) Are there any remaining baddies in the wagon?
2) how deep is it? Is it a tunnel down?
3) are there any sounds or other coming from the trench?
D&D since 1984
The tunnel is 10' deep and 5' wide. It runs east and west, with a turn to the south.
There are no more baddies where you are at.

Ooc: Is it dark in the tunnel?
If it is Garmuk has darkvision and will sneak ahead a little to try and see what he can. If it's not he will stick with Ursa.

I was hasty. I must be more diligent when it comes to being patient. That could have ended badly for us all =(
Let us proceed down, sneaks to the fore...I go 2nd behind Garmuk....
