Miesha - You sink your spear into the hyena-creature then bludgeoning it as it grovels (on its turn).
(Next up: Crannoc. The lead hyena-creature is groveling, one robed individual stands ready to fight, and the robed leader stands a small distance away from the hyena-creature.)

Crannoc continues his conversation with the lead robed figure as if it had never been interrupted.
"Please continue your explanation. Who are you and why are you here in the Lonsvells' den? Where can we find the Lonsvells?"
As the sycamore seedling revolves around Crannoc's shoulders once more, his spiritual pine needle stabs at the prone hyena-faced leader and the winds of time sound in their heads like a tolling bell once more, signifying their impending death. Still concentrating on Temuth'sblessings.
Bonus Action: Commanding Spiritual Weapon (already cast) to attack lead hyena-face at advantage (since it is prone) for force damage: Attack: 27 Damage: 13
Action: Toll the Dead - DC 17 WIS Save or 1 necrotic damage.
Crannoc - Your pine needle stabs into the hyena-creature, sundering it as a bell tolls in its mind.
The remaining lesser robed individual looks around, darting out of the room and through the dining room. The robed leader calls after them in that unfamiliar language, and they turn around to face him. They remain where they are, but say something back to their leader. The leader then turns to your group, taking a seat on the sofa once again. "I am Osboran. Please, everyone come in. I must first ask you what it is that you want with the Lonsvells."
Crannoc looks for a moment to Miesha, the leader, and the others. Hoping he is not speaking out of turn in this strange place, having already talked so much...
He sends his Spiritual Weapon pine needle, still active for another 40 seconds or so, to hover next to the surviving lesser robed figure, attack readied. If they try to run off or refuse to return, he will have it attack as a bonus action and also use his Thorn Whip. He looks to one of the other party members to see if they can escort them back to the room with the robed leader.
To the robed leader, he says: "Osboran. I am Crannoc Greenthorn. My five companions can introduce themselves if they wish. First, please ask your robed colleague to return to this room. No running off and bringing the rest of the herd to hunt us. Be warned - we have just dealt with your erstwhile hyena-faced associates here and at the wall, and hardly took a scratch in doing so."
"We want the Lonsvells because their people, the people of Aoswell, need them as a pack needs their leader. This is their home and you or your associates have taken it over and despoiled it. So I will ask you again, and no dissembling, prevarication or delays this time. In simple terms. Why are you here, who are you and where are the Lonsvells?"
Miesha is happy to allow someone else handle the talking as she stays alert and ready for any more of the Hyena-Creatures. ((Are they all defeated? At least ones we've seen in this room?)). She is glad to step up next to Crannoc and lend an intimidating glare or two to ensure his comments carry the weight of the threat of violence she is happy to provide.
Osboran nods, calling over to the robed individual who walks back in and props themselves against the wall. "Crannoc, it's good to meet you. I had initially wanted to meet you later, outside the keep because I had not been entirely honest with the gnolls that we were tentative allies with. I had informed them that the Lonsvells had run off into the town. I couldn't disclose the truth to you while my two compatriots were here to translate for the gnolls, who don't speak common." He stands from the couch, looking exhausted yet again. He then takes the couch by the arm and shifts it aside. He steps to the closet it had been covering and opens it, revealing a huddled mass of five figures. He offers a hand up to the front-most individual, who appears to be the oldest and had a crossbow aimed at the door when it opened. The other four figures file out. An older man with the crossbow, two middle-aged women, and two small children. "These are the Lonsvells. Now that everyone is here and aware of each other, I think you six should know that there are more gnolls and cultists in the floor below this. There is a door to the cellar across the hallway and in the kitchen. I think it should be monitored or blocked for the time being."
He turns to the Lonsvells, introducing himself to them, "I am Osboran. I am a cultist, I suppose, although in light of recent events perhaps I am not as devout as I was meant to be."

Firstly, Miesha is studying the lead cultist to try to get a bead on how truthful he’s being. (Insight check: 12 )
Next she is eyeing up these supposed Lonsvells and trying to see if they seem like the top craps of this city or just some house staff grabbed up. “What’s your name?” She asks the youngest, her eyes darting to the others and warning them not to speak up.
If she’s buying this story she’ll suggest the cultist or two who fell in combat she be looked to, perhaps it’s not too late for them?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Crannoc drops concentration on Bless and also tries to Insight what Osboran is claiming and the whether these are indeed the Lonsvells, reaching out the Temuth and concentrating on Guidance in seeing the truth.
While Crannoc and Miesha question the cultist and Lonsvells, all she really heard was that the threat was not vanquished. There were more in the basement. Catching Jasper's eye, she heads to the door that Osboran had pointed out and guards it for the time being, waiting for the discussion to find a resolution.
As far as you can tell this individual is being completely truthful. He seems almost exhausted of lying.
The youngest child, a little girl, looks up at Miesha and timidly says, "My name's Reida."
Osboran looks towards Crannoc and responds, "This 'cult' follows a very powerful fiend. One of his common titles is the 'Lord of Savagery.' We are here for reasons not entirely known to me, but I am aware that they needed to conduct a ritual near a small population center."
Crannoc -
Osboran is telling as much of the truth as he knows. There seem to be some places of more or less understanding and knowledge of what is going on, but why they are in this place specifically seems to be one of the weaker points of knowledge.
A general sense that you gather from Osboran is one of guilt and exhaustion. He seems to have numerous regrets that cause him to be confused as to what exactly the correct, next step is.
Maggwyn - You cross the dining room and enter a kitchen. It is mostly ravaged, but there are some remaining meats of questionable origin scattered about. Through a door on one side you reach a pantry like room that has a trapdoor on the floor. It is currently closed, but it is clear based on the state of the pantry and dust that there has been traffic through it.
Cult. Powerful fiend. Lord of Savagery. I know what must be done with rabid animals. A quick, clean death and dispose of the corpse. But the laws of city folk may not be the same as I imagine. I should tread with caution here, like a wandering bear entering unknown territory.
Crannoc considers killing the lesser robed figure then and there but decides against it (though he will not stop any others that choose to do so). He readies his attacks however and signals the others to surround the figure.
He looks to the rest of the party. "I suggest we use rope to restrain that one at least." (Pointing at the lesser robed figure) "Neither he nor Osboran are safe with the regular townsfolk because at least Osboran knows magic. It seems evident to me we should clear out this entire nest and destroy their plans to the extent we can. But perhaps one or two of us first quickly take the Lonsvells back into Aoswell so they are safe from further fighting here? Does that sound acceptable to everyone? Ah... including you, my, ah... lords?" (He adds the last bit haltingly to the Lonsvells).
If at any point the lesser robed figure (or Osboran) makes any aggressive move or flees, Crannoc is on a hair-trigger to attack again.
The taller of the two women speaks up, “Yes. We need to get back to Aoswell quickly. Oh, and I should make introductions. I am Vara. This is my father Sorlar, my wife Rifra, and our children: Serni and Reida.” She turns to Osboran. “I don’t know why you helped us, but thank you. Now, the five of us can make it to the town. We have my father,” she gestures specifically to the crossbow he is wielding, “and if my timing is correct then it should be just about morning time and it will be light out.”
She begins to usher her family out of the room, then stops and turns around again. “I would like to thank you all. You’ve done a great service for us and Aoswell. At the moment we need to hurry back, but at a later time we will be sure to celebrate you as best as we can.” The family waves and says quick goodbyes before making their way to the door (unless anyone has any questions or otherwise before they leave).
((Before the left… Miesha would have followed up with the little girl about her last name, assuming the youngest to be the least deceitful and the worst at it. She would also ask the adults what happened… how did they come to be in the closet, how did it come that the cultist is acting as their defender. Assuming satisfactory answers, and some sense there are not more Gnolls outside, she would escort them to the door and watch as they fled to the town…))
“Now, do we clear out the Gnolls first or delve deeper into the memories of the cultists?” Miesha asks the others. Eyeing the lesser robed figure she follows up asking “Has the entire cult had a change of heart or just the leadership?”
Miesha - The little girl appears a little anxious around so many people, but mumbles “Reida Lonsvell.”
Vara responds to your further questions. “A couple days ago there was a massive pounding on the door. My father grabbed his crossbow and we ran into this room. The first one to enter this room after us was Osboran, who saw us then ushered us into the closet. He then talked more to his compatriots in that freakish language. He’s been sneaking us food and eventually introduced himself.” As she is about to step out the door she finishes her statement: “I still wouldn’t trust him entirely. I don’t understand how he came to work with those monsters or why he chose to spare us. If you can get such answers out of him then I’d like to here what you learn.”
When Miesha makes a comment about the gnolls and what to do next, Osboran chimes in. “I don’t believe that we are the entirety of the Lord of Savagery’s following. Even so as of late I’ve hardly been the leader. It’s all been my sister and the most vile of the gnolls here. We met up with them a while ago and since then they’ve been set on some ritual.”
The lesser cultist adds in, “I didn’t know about these hideaways, but I’ve been following Osboran from the start. I’m with him in this matter.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
This time Crannoc, still concentrating on Guidance, attempts to Insight the lesser cultist. The nature cleric may not be accustomed to the ways of the city-born, and these cultists are unlikely to be typical city-born in any case, but it seems convenient now that Osboran is visibly receiving leniency to claim that he is with Osboran.
Regardless, Crannoc will want to make sure the Lonsvells make it safely off the grounds, possibly tie up one or both cultists, and head after the rest of the cultists and gnolls to attempt to defeat them and stop whatever foul ritual is at play.
Maggwyn watches the conversation impatiently. She is ready to head down and clear the house of these creatures. She calls out to the rest of the party after the family leaves, "What's the plan with those two? Shall we tie them up till we clear out the house?"
The lesser cultist seems to still be following the lead of the only leader she has at the moment. She seems truthful, but that her opinion on this specific matter may have been decided through belief in Osboran's judgement.
Crannoc smiles at the sight of Maggwyn of the Rolling Eyes, so eager to be on with it. Like a hungry bear who has almost reached the beehive.
He turns to Miesha and the others. "I believe the second cultist will obey Osboran. If one of you wishes to bind and restrain them, I will not stand in your way. But I used my rope to tie the door handles to the room where the four-leg footprints led earlier so I have none. I say we bring them with us."
To Osboran, firmly: "You both are with us now. Do you understand? She is the pack leader." (pointing at Miesha). "Obey her and us. Tell us where we can find the remaining gnolls and cultists here and help us dispose of them and their plans. Warn us of any foes and hazards ahead of time. If you do so without fail, you may live to breathe the free air. Do you hear and understand? Where do we go first - the trapdoor where my associate is?"
As the group gets under way, Crannoc asks his associates' help in throwing the dead gnolls and cultist into the closet that the Lonsvells had been in and putting the couch back in place. He casts Prestidigitation to clean up the worst of the blood and other results of the brief battle so that other enemies won't immediately know what has happened.
Osboran nods gently, and the lesser cultist does so as well soon after. “The only other cultists and gnolls are through that trapdoor. They likely have started their ritual by now, but I don’t know what it will do or what danger it will put us in. My sister is heading the ritual and it is focused on the other leading gnoll. They’ve kept me in the dark recently.”
