Tibern got out of the water and stepped away once he retrieved the staff, not about to risk losing anymore of his supplies to the water. He debated on going back into the cave but knrw there was little choice unless he wanted to risk the nearly five mile trek back to the wagon alone.
(Do I need another one? I just did one the first time I said i wanted to sneak through the cave to see how many goblins there were, just before you posted the map)
Oops sorry, I missed that post. No, that roll will work quite well.
Vandar comes to the room at the end of the hall and sees a large cave that is divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins. Six goblins inhabit this den, and one of them is clearly a leader. The five ordinary goblins tend the cooking fire in the lower (northern) part of the cave near the entrance passage, while the leader rests in the upper (southern) part of the cave.
Vandar, in an incredible show of stealth and speed manages to sneak through the tunnel past the room full of goblins and into the small tunnel leading down towards the main tunnel, where he finds Bron. This tunnel full of loose stones and is difficult terrain.
Vandar sees that the landing in the middle of this tunnel is unstable, now that he has seen it he can avoid causing it to collapse and warn others of the danger.
Bron can now just barely make out the silhouette of Vandar in the dim glow of the fire. His eyes have adjusted to the very low light in this tunnel and will be able to get through without a tourch as long as the goblins fire keeps burning. The room with the fire counts as dimly lit and you will not need darkvision in there.
Tibern moved further into the cave to see if he could spot the other members of their party that had not been washed down stream. He stepped ahead of Lothar and looked ahead and to the side for any sign of Bron or Vandar.
(With Darkvision if Tibern steps just in front of Lothar can he see Bron across the stream?)
Yes Vandar can avoid the weak spots and can show others how to do the same.
Yes Tibern can see Bron. At least the 4 of you are close enough to communicate without alerting the goblins, I am not sure if Glen followed you back in or not.
The 5 goblins in the room with the fire do not appear to be aware that anything is going on. The three in the waterfall room however will most likely be investigating whats going on in the main tunnel soon.
At this point the stream has receded back to no more than ankle deep, and you do not hear any indication that the second dam is being removed.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the other members of the party, Tibern will signal to them that he survived being washed away when the first dam opened. To be cautious he drew his rapier and waited to see what would happen as he attempted to hide in the darkness of the cave.
Vandar carefully makes his way past the weakened area to the others and whispers to them. There's more goblins in the cave. Just ahead in the tunnel there are six goblins camped out with a fire. In the other direction from the bridge is 3 more, they look to be waiting for a signal to flood the tunnel again. And be careful, the floor is trapped to collapse just ahead.
(I’m feeling like another leeroy Jenkins move) glen follows tibern staying behind not wanting to get hurt anymore, he also looks at his new staff and whispers “hey tibern what you got there?, where’d you find that thing”
Tibern made a shushing motion as he turned and glared at the wizard incase he got any ideas to run in and get himself nesrly killed again. As it was the genasi looked like he could barely stand, let alone be in a close ranged fight. "Those are questions for after we deal with the goblins that want to kill us." He said before he turned to the monks and nodded at what he told them about the layout of the cave.
Snuffing the torch out quickly so he could cover his nose to try and prevent the stench of the goblins getting to his nose. Pointing a finger to Glen as he said as quiet as possible to not be heard by the goblins, " Don't do anything youdy regret wizard !"
Tibern, being aware of the goblins in the waterfall room thanks to Vandar's information, hears a goblin approaching the bridge from the east.
You can not yet see the goblin and can safely assume it has not yet seen any of you. The bridge is clear as the other goblin fell off when its leg was shatterd by Vandar and it's body was washed down the tunnel by the flood.
Lothar, Tibern, and Glen have a couple seconds to react before the goblin gets to the bridge and can see out into the tunnel.
both Bron and Vandar can also see a faint glow of fire at the end of the passages they are in.

Vandar continues to creep forward to see how many goblins are in the tunnel.
can I get a stealth check from Vandar?

Vandar roll a perception check.
