Lost Mine of Phandelver (Kolbitr DM)

Bron halts and holds his hand up to motion the others to do the same," Sounds like there's more wolves up head." He'll try to stealth the rest of the way to see if he can gauge how many there are before engaging.

( Gotta love all these good stealth rolls with just a plus +1 Dex mod)

Bron manages to sneak just inside the room and sees one goblin laying on the stone floor apparently asleep next to a fire pit full of smoldering coals which emit a very dim light in this room. He can also see something larger laying on a bedroll off to the side of the room, it looks about the size of a bugbear.

Seeing that Bron had snuck forward, Tibern will wait to see what he finds in the room ahead of them. With the staff put on his pack once more he readies his blade once more. He considers if he should use magic but decides to wait until he learns what is in the room before he begins casting any spells.

After getting the lay of the room and knowing that they'd still have the element of surprise he would make his way back to the group to relay what he had saw ahead.

Stealth ( Just in case ):  8

Hearing Bron's news (assuming his low stealth didn't alert anyone), Vandar tries to sneak into the room and kill the goblin silently in it's sleep.

(If wake up, just move in and attack if I can)

Stealth: 10

Yklwa: Attack: 17 Damage: 12 

Unarmed if needed: Attack: 7 Damage: 8

(Advantage attack roll for the yklwa if he's still prone: 26, Extra attack die if he's asleep since you auto-crit against unconscious creatures if within 5 feet: 2)

Bron makes a little noise in his way back but it is coverd by the aound of the waterfall and the party remains undetected.

Vandar quickly sneaks into the room and effortlessly dispatches the sleeping goblin with his weapon. As soon as this is done he sees the wolf at the east end of the room chewing on a large bone, and the goblin at the west end of the room peeing in a hole with his back towards Vandar.

Glen and Silas roll a dex check to avoid the stream of yellow fluid falling from the hole above.

Tibern watches as the goblin his taken care of by Vandar, smirking as he decides whether or not he will move forward and try to see if he can take care of the sleeping bugbear.

Stealth 4

If Tibern makes it he will attack the sleeping bugbear bear with his rapier and then his dagger.

Rapier: Attack: 24 Damage: 9

Dagger: Attack: 20 Damage: 3

Tibern moves silently toward Klarg, unfortunately the wolf at that end of the room catches Tibern's scent as he moves nearer and leaps up to attack before Tibern can reach Klarg.

Meanwhile in the chamber below Glen and Silas both feel a dribbling of fluid from the shaft above them and they both recoil in disgust at the foul smelling liquid that has landed upon them. Just then they hear the snarling of an angry wolf echo down the shaft.

The wolf is loud enough to wake Klarg and alert the peeing goblin, However Klarg is still prone until his turn and the goblin grants advantage until it "zips up".

Roll Initiative!

(So is my attack being ignored? Even if the wolf still wakes the bugbear up Tibern will attack even if the wolf is there to try and stop him.)

Initiative: 13

The wolf spotted Tibern before he reached Klarg, but I will give you the first attack which hit. but unless I am mistaken Tibern has no multi attack ability so just the rapier attack. That also means Tibern moves on square towards Klarg.

(He has the off hand attack with his dagger. It is a bonus action but without the two weapon fighting style it is just a straight d4 instead of having his damage mod added. And that is fine as if he surivies they will be getting hit with Thunderwave so he needs to be close.)

You are right DD, my bad. Forgot about the dual wielding light weapons thing. You got both hits.

(It's all good. I am doing my best to remember it as I played a rogue before and forgot about it until the last session so I lost a lot of my attack chances for that. Let me just say that was rather embarrassing.... and annoying since no one reminded me about it at the time.)

Silas says to the wizard. " did not catch your name, but I don't think that we should go up that pee hole." Do you know if there is another way to get up there?
