(( @DM - Can Horatio block the door(s) from the garden (where Granny went) to buy us time to escape whilst the others make a clamor hunting boggles? ))
Matilda leaps on another boggle with her blade, but the slippery fey slips away.
Ben's boggle struggles to free itself from Ben's grip. It shrieks. (In Sylvan: "No! No! I didn't do it! Let me free!"). Boggle Dex check: 9 vs. Ben Athletics: 24to escape grapple.
Another boggle dives into an open drawer and vanishes; it reappears next to the far door, which it opens, but not before it deposits a puddle of slick oil in front of the door. The third one dives into an empty barrel and reappears inside the next room, behind its buddy, where it dives behind a crate. A tune begins to play from the crate, reminiscent of a child’s lullaby.
Horatio eyes a bench he could push in front of the garden door, if he chooses to.
Hearing the boggle speak, Ben says to the others, “Don’t kill them, we just need their oil for Squirt,” as he holds the creature over the oil can and gently but firmly squeezes the boggle.
In Sylvan, he responds to the boggle.
“Sorry to be a bother. We just need some of your oil for poor thirsty Squirt here.”

"We do not have time for this! Granny would gut us all if she came in here!" Horatio doesn't yell - for fear of being heard - but his hushed admonishment is firm nonetheless. He moves carefully to the door, staying low to avoid windows, and pushes the bench in the way. "Squirt, can't you just ask the Boggles to give you some?!"
Horatio carefully closes the garden door and pushes the heavy workbench against the door.
("Yes! Yes! Whatever you want!" squeals the boggle in Sylvan from Ben's firm grasp. "Right to the top, buddy!" responds Squirt in Sylvan, suddenly hovering in the air in front of the two of them, his cap loosened.)
