Subtle Spell fireball cast at 5th level - all enemies make Dex saves vs DC 17 to take half of 35 fire damage. He will also counterspell the necromancer if he tries to cast absorb elements
His options limited by needing to concentrate, and the undead being unaffected by his preferred spells, Akame focused on the enemies for a few seconds and a fireball exploded among them.

Forgot to mention the counterspell would also be Suble.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The Necromancer growls in frustration. "Your evocations will not spare you from death!" He shouts as the room darkens with a strange palor washing over every surface, the space appearing like a monochromatic negative of the world you know as you find yourselves in the center of a circle of death DC 15 Con save for ½ of 27 necrotic.
The Necromancer then retreats to the western reaches of his laboratory (not pictured). Also, those Zombies are dead. Other corpses remain (that's kind of their whole thing) beyond the Fireballs reach (there were dozens to start.)

Angus CON Save 22
(reminder Akame should get a +3 to save from Angus' aura)
The paladin will run to the downed lizardman and lay hands on him for 20hp healing. "Let's just get out of here!"he cries, pointing to the door on the west side of the room.
(I don't think cantrips are gonna hold off a horde of undead. What happens to a multi-round cast if you are interrupted by damage in the midst of it? Do you get to continue? Do you just lose the spell slot?)
Chadderlay and Akame are up

Fireball saves
Zombies
1 -1
2 12
3 4
4 4
5 11
6 11
Necromancer 21
Nobody makes their saves and all take 35 damage. The Zombies must make Con saves DC 40 for undead Fortitude to tske effect, so no point rolling that.
Since there is only one living creature (includes undead, not dead dead) in the room, lightning bolt can't effect more than one. Dex save vs DC 17 4
So, who has the chest anyhow?

Akame and Chadderlay are up again.
(... and maybe move toward the exit?)
(If you can keep that necromancer off me for a minute, I can cast teleportation circle. I assume Ayame knows sigil sequence of some nearby place)
(a minute is 10 rounds... I'm not sure how much he can throw at us but I know we're low on hp and spell slots)
(Well we have the time if we just protect amk or ched by using cantrips to hold them off but we got to decide)

IIRC any spell which takes more than one action to cast requires concentration while casting it.
