<I'm doing some remapping - this is the thing about giving players maps, sometimes. I'm squishing that area where Gravity could find a forge on this side of the harbor, so Oxpit tavern, as it's marked on you're map is over here now and the accompanying surroundings as well. It made sense where it was, but I am formally moving it here. Make a note of it if you wish. For story purposes, we'll say thus is the new location of the inn, following its complete destruction to an elemental rift - which looks about right based on that other map. This also makes sense because it isn't even called that anymore.
This serves to inform you that just a bit further east, (the way you were headed,) you can find that forge you wanted.>
Sam still in his human form says to angus “will I get a sword to the face if I show my true self” asking with serious internet as he doesn’t want to fight everyone in this city and scare anyone as well “your somewhat a man of god how do you serve”
The half orcs protest the rough treatment they've received, but ultimately back down. Somberly, they trudge toward you and the stairs with the old boot fixed to the wall at the top.
Sam still in his human form says to angus “will I get a sword to the face if I show my true self” asking with serious internet as he doesn’t want to fight everyone in this city and scare anyone as well “your somewhat a man of god how do you serve”
Angus replies, "Honestly I don't know, so I would maintain the ruse for a little while. If we follow these half-orcs, though, it is likely that whatever establishment serves them would not be too prejudiced against outsiders..."
The paladin will observe the half-orcs, and if they go down the stairs, he will wait a few beats and then follow.
Gravity will keep the pair of hand-made gloves for herself after paying for the item. She rubs the furry materials against her cheeks to feel the warmth of the gloves. She's been roaming aimlessly among the rows of shops displaying expensive looking clothings, but halts briefly in front of the entrance to a dark alley. With an expression of utter horror, she observes the movement of a bruised woman sitting cross-legged on the ground. The woman has facial features that are miraculously similar to her own, except the wavy length of dark hair and exotic eyes (Zuryoku).
Gravity quickly leaves the place and dashes towards the dock yard. "What was that, Socket? Did you see my doppelganger too? That's certainly a bad news since people who encounter their look-alike die within months. I know, I shouldn't believe such silly things, but..."
She will ask around for further information about a forge and locate the OxpitTavern.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chadderlay gestures toward the tavern that has a boot nailed to the post at street level.
"Well, this is the 'Leaning Boot' tavern. Shall we?" Chadderlay will hold the door open for any of the others who wish to enter. Once the last member of the group has entered Chadderlay will close the door behind them and survey the room trying to determine if they drew more attention than the orcs that just entered.
Chadderlay's Perception: 9

The interior is dimly lit and tends to be quiet, making the subterranean bar a favorite of the few dwarves in Mulmaster, older locals, and a handful of dedicated alcoholics. The cellars are damp, making corked bottles swell and burst open over time. As a result, only ale, beer, and other vat fermented beverages are served.
Angus will head towards a back corner table, and order a tankard of ale if anyone comes over.
"I think we are safe for the moment. Hopefully none of my fellow 'Bastards' drops in. So, now that we can speak more freely, tell me again how you came to Mulmaster? Did you say it was by accident?"

OOC Maybe I'm misunderstanding what's going on, but as far as Angus knows, he's only in the city because of Morwena, and she just told him to hang out til tomorrow. And I'm not sure if Sam's response to Angus was intentionally vague and incoherent or not, but it was less than helpful in providing direction about what to do. Did I miss a major signal somewhere?
"Chadderlay," begins Angus carefully, "What do you know of Morwena's feelings about the current leadership of the Red Wizards? Would you describe her as a loyalist? And yourself? I have no personal stake in the matter, so I ask not in judgment of you. I am trying to understand what is going on in this city, and what my purpose is in being here.
"And you others, Samogri, Tetrevess, and 'Gravity', you seek some sort of legendary weapon? For what purpose? If you find it, what will you do with it?"
<if I got a perception check you'd have found the note that tells you where to go to get briefed on why your here. DC was just going to be whatever was rolled. Right now you're all just in a very safe place, in thst nobody woukd specifically look for you here. Its not an inn, though, so you can't stay the night: theyll boot you out. >
(@robs88scps2, Gravity is currently not with the party, she's somewhere near the Oxpit Tavern. So, she won't be able to respond to the question.)
Cryptic Gravity
Gravity will scribble the portrait of Chadderlay and show it around the place that's closest to the dock-yard. She's eager to get in touch with the group as soon as possible since she's somehow realized the fact that surviving here is quite difficult without a herd. "Sir, have you seen this person?" "Madame, do tell me if you get a glimpse of this bald-headed bucko. I'm staying at the Oxpit tavern."
Chadderlay takes a drink of his ale and looks around at the other patrons.
"My Aunt Morwena tends to go about her own business and as far as I know she doesn't get involved between the Loyalists and Separatists but I haven't seen her in about half a year. I was hoping to see her again when she met back up with you, Angus."
Looking form Angus to the others, "We'll have to look for rooms elsewhere as this is nothing more than a drinking establishment."

You sit chatting quietly for some time, drinking and trying not to look too suspicious.
Whoever eventually goes to the bathroom, make a perception check.
