"Go! Run! Follower your commanders!" Judal calls out loudly even as he slows his own pace and falls to the back of the fleeing soldiers. When he's at the rear, or close to, he turns to face these oncoming monsters in the hopes of delaying them long enough to give the soldiers a fair head start.
"C'mon then, uglies! Bring it!" Judal shouts as he draws Serpent's Fang and aims down the length of the blade, using it send his Eldritch Blast along before it jeaps from the tip of the blade and strikes out at the monsters once they are within reach. (120'). He aims first at the closest and then the next closest beast, hoping a punch in the nose will draw their attention to him instead of the fleeing soldiers.

We'll hold them for as long as we can!" She backs up Judal's words while triwling her Amber weapon in a clockwise rotation.

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
Ereni's arrow strikes true, but the Tarrasque doesn't have a visible reaction even as the arrow sinks in. It does roar, however, and then its roar becomes a shriek, which becomes its sound weapon. The purple beam rakes over Godzilla, who backs away from the powerful attack long enough that the Tarrasque pushes itself to its feet. It jams its horns into Godzilla's chest before missing with a clumsy swipe of its claws. Its the tail that is nearly the King of the Monster's undoing though. The Tarrasque's tail kicks Godzilla's feet out from under him and he goes down in a cloud of dust.
When Godzilla hits the ground, the pulse of energy he had given off earlier radiates again, rekindling the firestorm that was already crawling through the city and tossing blocks and beams in all directions while simultaneously baking the Tarrasque in energy. Huge sections of the Tarrasque's carapace burn away. It stumbles back as Godzilla rises to his feet and pursues, giving no respite to the beast. The Apex surges forward, its body colliding with the Tarrasque as it jams its claws into some of the monster's open wounds. The Tarrasque screams, and Godzilla continues its push forward before leaning into to close its jaws around its throat. The two behemoths go down as the Tarrasque stumbles, with Godzilla pinning his adversary to the ground before tearing its throat out.
When Godzilla rises again, its dorsal fins light up blue and it roars into the sky, placing one huge foot on the Tarrasque's corpse...
Unfortunately, the Tarrasque's fleas don't die when it falls. They continue to pursue Judal, Malenia, and company. Judal's Eldritch Blast pummels one shortly before it and two of its companions are slowed, but one keeps moving forward with horrific speed before firing a series of spikes at its to targets. One plinks harmlessly off Judal's armor before the next spike sticks in Malenia's shoulder...
The pad of her foot digs into the ground as her saber spins before her, deflecting the spine meant to strike her shoulder.
Reaction: Deflect Missles, Reduces damage by 1d10+12. Rolled a 10 in Game Log +12 brings it to 22, I knock it out of the air before it reaches me.
Gritting her teeth, Watching as the massive King of the Monsters roars over the corpse of its fallen foe. Malenia pushes off the pad of her foot and dashes towards the closest Flea, The one who had attempted to strike Judal and Herself. Dragging both of her weapons along the ground, leaving a scorching trail of heated stone in her wake. As she comes up to hit, One hand slashes upwards as she spins with the momentum to deliver a horizontal slash with her other weapon.
For the second time in weeks, as when the Red Bull had been destroyed and the keep had crumbled at Hagsgate, Ereni feels awe. She stares as the apex stands over the Tarrasque with crackling blue energy and roars its triumph. Well then. Now what?
Five hundred feet away from her rooftop, movement from parasites and fleeing soldiers catches Ereni's eye as she emerges from darkness. Two warriors fighting back in Godzilla's shadow? Malenia and Judal? Too close to that monster! What do they have, a death wish? (She thinks, unironically somehow).
Staying far from Godzilla, she aims at the first parasite she can draw a bead on and looses two arrows at it, this time going for kill shots again. Her Sharpshooter feat giving her no penalty for cover or long range. Still too far for Hunter's Mark so she marks it as her Favored Foe.
Attack 1: on parasite, advantage from Stealth and darkness, 3d20s due to Elven Accuracy, using Sharpshooter -5 to hit / +10 damage and Favored Foe. To Hit: 27 - 5 = 22 Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d6 + 10 = 6 + 11 + 5 + 10 = 32 magical piercing damage on parasite.
Attack 2: on parasite, straight roll. No Favored Foe but Sharpshooter -5 to hit / +10 damage in effect. To Hit: 27 - 5 = 22 Damage: 1d8 + 11 = 6 + 11 + 10 = 27 magical piercing damage on parasite.
Ereni continues to circle the battle, flying to the next rooftop. Not staying in one place, but not coming any closer (keeping 500' range).
As the Tarrasque falls, rubble and flames in its wake, the centaur still clinging to the swaying box carried by the roc has for the first time no words, no songs. The Apex's sky-shaking, wailing roar of victory seems to her so beyond the reediness of her own pipes, so that she cannot understand or remember how her own had managed before to turn aside so many foes. Her hooves scrape along the sides of the box, aching primally for endless miles of grassland to run across, to somehow outpace what she had been up until this moment. Her companions gone somewhere far below, lost in the rubble, Stasolya stands alone and overcome.
The deep magic of Hyboria has been shaken now... now there are no tales, no laws that mortal mind can comprehend, only the mystery of what we sang of, foolishly, darkly, not knowing of what we sang, of things too wonderful for us to know. Long had I heard of you, but now I have seen...and, despising myself and my finite folly, repent in the ashes of Argos.
The fight is on, Judal thinks as the flea-like monstrosities and Malenia fully engage. Out of the corner of his eye he believes he even saw a blur that could have been Erenia's arrows... Judal moves to engage the same creature Malenia has, best to take it down before moving on to the next... and the next... and the next. ((Unsure if he can get into flanking, so will include both rolls...)). Judal first places his Hexblade's Curse upon the creature and then starts swinging...
Serpent's Fang Attack: To Hit - 21(or 13) , Damage - 11
Serpent's Fang Attack: To Hit - 26(or 21) , Damage - 15
Blade Flourish (Defensive), assuming one of the attacks hit, adds 5more damage to that hit plus 5 to Judal's AC (so 27) until start of his next turn.
Malenia's first swing misses outright as the creature draws back and hisses at her, but the second swing of the lightsaber. When Judal moves to her aid, the parasite falls, as the Serpent's Fang cuts away the forefront of the creatures head. Another falls to Ereni's arrows as Judal rushes the surviving two and taking a considerable slice out of one of the slowed remainders.
Godzilla, still roaring in the backdrops, turns, its massive body unable to do anything but be destructive as the King of the Monster's faces back toward the sea. It ignores the fleas, the fleeing survivors of the battle and the firestorm it has created. It simply begins its deliberate stride back to the ocean, back the way it came...
"It's a shame we don't have a way to thank it," Judal shouts with a head nod towards Godzilla even as he continues battling the ticks. "Though can't say I'm sorry to see them leave..."
But Judal's main focus is the task at hand, clearing out these... Whatever they are. He was worried at first but now it seems him and his companions are easily up to the task. Still, quicker finished the less worry something goes wrong... He switches back to spells for the moment, casting Hex on the closest of the beasts and then once again using his blade to aim along the length of while shooting off his Eldritch Blasts...
Eldritch Blast beam 1: To Hit - 14
Eldritch Blast beam 2: To Hit - 14
Unfortunately it seems perhaps his relief at the Battle of the Behomeths being over has made him a bit cocky and his aim is a bit off... (Malenia's 17 to hit missed so... *shrug*)
Ereni stares after Godzilla. Well aren't they the lucky one. One fight and back to cool their heels under the sea while the world collapses around us. Like Big Borresquieu back in the infantry, leaning back on his greataxe after beheading the orc chieftain while the fight continued to rage all around him. No one wanting to come near, friend or foe. Granted, the Tarrasque was a mite tougher than any orc, but still lucky...
She begins flying, sixty feet closer to the battle between Malenia, Judal and the parasites, knowing she can arrive there in less than a minute. Confident in her companions' ability to dispatch the parasite with which Judal is engaged, she shoots at the other uninjured one. She notes that the remaining insectile parasites seem to be moving slower than normal, easier to hit, as if affected by some magic...
Attack 1: using Sharpshooter -5 to hit / +10 damage and Favored Foe To Hit: 29 - 5 = 24 Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 1d6 + 10 = 8 + 11 + 5 + 10 = 34 damage on parasite (magical piercing)
Attack 2: using Sharpshooter -5 to hit / +10 damage To Hit: 23 - 5 + 2 from Judal'sBardic Inspiration = 20 Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 10 = 5 + 11 + 10 = 26 damage on parasite (magical piercing)
If she has a chance, she glances around the city from her rooftop to look for other remaining threats she may be missing. Wouldn't this be the perfect chance to be blindsided by something mundane after watching the titans clash...
Malenia turn's on her heel and barrels towards the Closest Flea, Noticing out of the corner of her eye one of the Parasites being barraged by Arrows. She looks up and feels a tinge of relief as she can see Ereni, flying through the air with her Bow nocked. Aiding Judal and Herself in defeating the things that had fed on the dead Tarrasque.
"Perhaps we can thank it by staying out of its way" Malenia belts over her shoulder, more Preoccupied with the creatures attacking them than the retreating King of the Monsters.
The parasites hiss as Eldritch Blasts fly past them without effect...and then the arrows fall. One of the parasites topples forward in a heap, its butt-end flipping up and over its head as it eats the road. The second one takes an arrow to the back of its neck, and the projectile slices forward through flesh and chitin, emerging beneath the parasite and bouncing off the paved path. Black ichor splatters.
Soldiers turn, standing on the pile of rubble, and watch in awe not only as the fleas are killed, but as Godzilla lumbers off, back in the direction it came. Their eyes linger on the behemoth for a moment, then turn up to face the Roc circling high overhead. For his part, Godzilla continues tilting his head up to look at the enormous bird from time to time, but seems indifferent to it.
One soldier mutters something about Argos being flooded and then burned all in the span of a month as the orange light of flames dances over his face.
Bells sound in the distance. Godzilla's fins flicker as he ambles away from the Tarrasque's carcass.
With each soft foot fall on the destroyed streets of Argos, where only a month before Malenia had witnessed a Kraken imposing its dread-filled will on the city. Malenia's foremost thoughts were of the true futility behind what they had done. In the short amount of time she had known the members of the Answer, Since leaving the comfort and safety of her home. The world seemed to grow darker with every step she took, Being called on by powers she barely knew existed to battle a Sith Lord, recover a lost relic and hold back an Undead army. If only Miquella could have seen her, She hadnt thought of her brother in some time. There were more pressing concerns as it seems that every day, they were faced with life or death.
The first Flea falls, just as she brings her weapon up to cleave at the second. The Arrow strikes. Her arm falters as she looks to the sky, a wave of relief washing over her shoulders as she finally gains sight of her Friend. Still alive and coming towards Judal and Herself. With no seeming threat, the humming blades of her weapons retract. She takes a deep breath and finally observes the devastation Argos has suffered. The city was destroyed.
"Well done Judal" She looks over her shoulder, at her new companion who had risked death. Leaping out of the safe confines the Roc provided to follow and aid her in the streets.

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
Ereni continues flying rooftop to rooftop until she arrives near Malenia and Judal. And the dead parasites. Face morose as ever.
Though she does break into a tremulous smile at seeing Malenia alive and unhurt, and a quicker respectful nod at Judal, their new companion.
"You saved them," she observes simply, looking at the remnants of the defenders of Argos. "Damnedest thing how victory always looks like this. Hundreds killed. City crushed and burned and missing its bloody heir*. Argos here same as Hagsgate a week ago. And our job still not done. Just hoping that big fat lizard doesn't get bored and decide to come back, or take too keen an interest in the bird who's giving us a ride."
* Referring to Hagsgate missing Prince Lir and Argos missing Princess Andromeda, taken by the Kraken before.
"We did" She looks over her shoulder with an approving nod to the unusually quiet Judal."Seem's the circumstances of our descent has finally caught up to you?" She questions the newest member of Andromeda's answer, who seems to be pondering just what they had done and is at the moment, lost for words.
"The Titan appears to be unbothered by us or those who remained above, It was given a task and now that the task is complete. I'd wager it just wants to rest and heal the wounds it sustained in the fight." Malenia carefully conceals both of her weapons back within the housing of her Prosthetic arm, glancing upward at the distant Roc. Still carrying what remains of the Answer. She cant help but clench her jaw, feeling more than a little despise towards them. "They didnt even try....." It comes as a hushed whisper spoken under her breath as her eyes trace the large Bird circling overhead.
"I trust you arrows found their mark with the Tarrasque?"Malenia's gaze falls to the corpse of the the fallen monster. She had seen it from high up when a crater was dropped on it, even then its size was impressive. Now standing a few hundred feet away from it, she is able to fully breath in the true size of the fallen Titan. "If not for Godzilla, More than Argos would have been destroyed." Even with the futility of what they had done, With Ereni's practically unnoticable aid in the the Tarrasques death, Judals and Herself risking death by diving thousands of feet to free the trapped soldiers. She felt a sense of peace knowing that at least she Tried.

Malenia - [Monk - Way of the Jedi] - Auryn: Princess of Destiny
Ereni stands quietly beside Malenia in the shattered city and briefly watches Godzilla's thundering return to the sea. For a time, she does not answer.
"Aye, the Tarrasque would not have stopped at Argos. Some of my arrows found their mark and damaged it I think, perhaps no more than spider bites to a storm giant. A slight distraction. It is all that I could do. Perhaps it was the same you could say for those still up on the Roc... likely there was truly nothing more they could do here. Speaking of which, if Cinder is still letting me fly..."
If Ereni believes it has been well under ten minutes since she jumped from the Roc, she coordinates a safe meeting location, perhaps outside the city, where the rest of the party can pick up Malenia and Judal fifteen minutes in the future. She then begins flying back up to the Roc (taking around a minute to get there) so she can inform them of the spot. Trusting in Cinder to keep her concentration on her Fly spell long enough.
And if she doesn't, would it be so bad? Standing next to Malenia at the end of the world... there could be worse last memories.
It doesn't take much convincing to get the Roc wrangler to get the giant bird to circle around and set down in the clearing where the Answer had helped the soldiers. It spooks a bit at the enormous corpse nearby, even as soldiers gather around it, poke it with pikes and spears while making sure its actually dead and no more fleas are dropping out from between its scales. The only one that does is beat down with half a dozen spearpoints in an instant.
"Who are you?" One soldier asks as she approaches the warriors near the Roc. She doesn't carry a spear or pike or bow, but there is a sword on her hip, and enough awards stuck to her armor here and there to identify her as some sort of officer. "Who sent you?"
"Call ourselves Andromeda's Answer on account of a few of us (not me) bearing witness to the Kraken taking the Princess," Ereni ventures awkwardly. "Sent by Gandalf and Commander Atreyu. But really the King o' Monsters who just waded back into the sea is who they sent. Rest of us were up with the Roc feeling about as useful as nipples on a breastplate when we saw what was going to happen to you all. Some of us had to do something."
Ereni looks apologetic, her green eyes distant, even while saluting. "We're meant to continue on after ensuring the Tarrasque here did not win. I don't know what help we can offer. Couple of us know healing," (looking at Thea) "but don't know how much of a dent we'd make with so much..."
Their throats had been slashed savagely, bruising on their backs and shoulders hinting at how they had been slammed down and held. The forest cottage stunk of orc sweat and elven and human blood and viscera. The half-elven youngster had stood rigid, bow in hand, too late to save her parents, too late to die with them. No matter what she did, no matter who she saved, it would always be too late for Ereni...
She swallows and attempts to continue speaking, but finds she cannot. If Vader has now escaped my revenge, then why am I still here?
Once the roc has landed and is still enough for the centaur in the back to keep her balance, she leaps from the box, hooves scrambling, to join the group on the ground. She breathes a sigh of relief as her hooves touch the soil of Argos once more, and she turns, looking at the crushed wreckage of the city, the hulking corpse of the Tarrasque, and the far-off, retreating bulk of Godzilla, disappearing into the churning sea like the Kraken did, the blood from his wounds mingling with the saltwater. But no captive did he take with him---he left his prey in the destruction that it would have caused to all the world.
After a moment she seems to have her voice back, and sings softly,
"My home I had to leave behind The wind and sea took all of mine Yet stage was set my home to be The battleground of titans free."
Then she turns back to her companions, a smile of relief, late, but sincere, on her face. "You survived... I'm so glad. That was a perilous leap."
Malenia folds her arms, standing withEreniand Judal. Noticably ignores the remainder of Andromeda's Answer as they reunite once more. Giving a cold shoulder to them as she takes her usualy place, standing towards the back of the group and letting someone else speak.
Her gaze rests on the distant mountains, She had no idea when she would be this close again. "Before we move on." Her voice is practically a whisper, which could easily be drowned out by the crackles of fire or the tumble of debris. "I would like to check in on my Home."

Damage: 1d8 + 11 + 10 = 5 + 11 + 10 = 26 damage on parasite (magical piercing)

"We did" She looks over her shoulder with an approving nod to the unusually quiet Judal. "Seem's the circumstances of our descent has finally caught up to you?" She questions the newest member of Andromeda's answer, who seems to be pondering just what they had done and is at the moment, lost for words.
"The Titan appears to be unbothered by us or those who remained above, It was given a task and now that the task is complete. I'd wager it just wants to rest and heal the wounds it sustained in the fight."
Malenia carefully conceals both of her weapons back within the housing of her Prosthetic arm, glancing upward at the distant Roc. Still carrying what remains of the Answer. She cant help but clench her jaw, feeling more than a little despise towards them. "They didnt even try....." It comes as a hushed whisper spoken under her breath as her eyes trace the large Bird circling overhead.
"I trust you arrows found their mark with the Tarrasque?" Malenia's gaze falls to the corpse of the the fallen monster.

DM of AURYN: The Measure of Devotion - Escape from New York

After a moment she seems to have her voice back, and sings softly,
"My home I had to leave behind
The wind and sea took all of mine
Yet stage was set my home to be
The battleground of titans free."
Then she turns back to her companions, a smile of relief, late, but sincere, on her face. "You survived... I'm so glad. That was a perilous leap."
Malenia folds her arms, standing with Ereni and Judal.
