“Hiding the cart is a good idea, unless we want to use it to attract them. I’d rather we control the initial attack so a ranged attack with terrain in our favor may work well.”
[Southeast might be better than southwest because the SW treeline would give them cover while approaching us.]
Bjorn begins to tie Iron-ass's harness (bit? Bridle? I don't know much about this stuff) to a nearby tree. "Sounds good. I'm ready to put this little adventure behind us."

(Lol, it’s a bridle. IRL, I wouldn’t recommend tying a horse with a bit in its mouth by it’s bridle, but since it’s dnd, I don’t know if it matters to anyone. I would have Vars say something, but I didn’t put any points into animal handling for once lol.)
[I'm sure Bjorn would do it in a way that's not very considerate of the animal. But if somebody else has a better way, that's fine lol.]
"We're pretty close now. Nobody go shouting or playing any accordions." Looking up at the hilltops, Bjorn pivots to note the position of the sun. [Is it low enough that we could position it behind us from one of these elevated areas?]
Sorry for the delay. Here is the map with grid, so you can be specific as to where you are heading. Movement distance will count soon as you enter onto the map grid. Movement through the bushes/trees and on the cliff sections will be considered difficult terrain against your movement speed.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I actually think that the northwest hill would be a better position. If we get up onto the hill before rounding the corner, we shouldn't have to worry about being spotted unless we are really loud. They should be distracted with whatever they are trying to do with their luggage. The bushes at the edge of the hill would give us some nice cover, and that ledge could give us an easier way down then the sheer drop on the cliff on the other side.)
Vars will attempt to lead the way up the slope (whichever one we choose), he has his bow in hand, and three arrows held between his fingers, ready for speed nocking.
Sparhawk follows , but also examines the terrain for any advantages in defense they can have. (Rocks that could be thrown down, difficult cliff faces, etc, even looking at tossing down broken tree branches on people below as they try to scale the hill. ) “it is possible they will retreat, but hopefully we can eliminate some of them first.”
“ Captain, they are packing up the loot to be carried, the Cow man has tied a chest over his shoulder…I am going to avoid that guy for sure…where do they finds these people..”
Sorsha motions for Vars to take point as the crew, hopefully unnoticed by the bandits, moves up on the western hill, messaging Ruhm to make a distracting noise from the northeast to possibly help with that, ordering the attack as soon as everybody seems to be in position.

Stealth: 6 Perception: 19
(What coordinates do you want Ruhm to go to? For this be specific on where you move. Where you climb, etc..)
(Ruhm will position himself at P3, although invisible, making a distracting noise to make the bandits turn that way as the crew gets into position, hopefully giving advantage on stealth rolls.)
Eberk straps his warhammer to his back and climbs up after the group.
Stealth: 2
As Eberk climbs, he grabs onto a large rock to heave himself up, and it comes loose. Eberk and a pile of rocks and dirt slide back down to the bottom of the cliff face, kicking up a dust cloud in the process.

Frangipani followed her captain up to the top of the ridge.

The sun is high up, afternoon position.

[Well, wherever we're going, let's go there, lol.]
[If it helps, I've got a grappling hook.]
"When we get in position, let's give em time to get out of their armor, eh? Maybe they won't, but maybe they will."
