Somehow Garth manages to find the perfect footing -- perhaps a springy root in the dry tunnel floor or part of the original trap-door provided an added spring. After a summersault he lands on the other side without making a sound. He stands and looks back at the hole, in part to cover his own surprise.
Javier, the feat does not apply in this case. Durrik Bonebreaker offers to help you across. As you suggest rope, he offers to have you climb onto his back and hold on with rope looped around his chest. He leaps across the gap, please make an acrobatics check with advantage to see if you held on. After you are across, you begin to study the floor, the patterns, trying to sort out what is going on. You can’t quite figure it out yet, but something is itching at the back of your brain. You take some notes and draw the figures in your journal.
Garth makes an incredible leap, with a summersault at the end and rolls, stands up and is ready to keep going, making it look easy to the rest of you.
Hlin, do you continue to lead, same pattern as before? Who is in front?

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Garth follows behind, trying, unsuccessfully, not to appear too pleased with himself.
As he moves he scan the path ahead as well, offering help to Hlin as she leads.
(( Assuming he can help Hlin in her perception rolls -- I imagine it's a matter of using a different perspective, and different training, to give her more insight into what she is seeing? ))
Salamir takes his place third in line, and moves on as quietly as possible. His wound from the Owlbear fight still raw and now bleeding a little bit again after the jump over the hole with Norak.
Nevertheless, he does not complain as they carry on forward.

Javier straps himself on and makes it across (19) without a problem. You are on the other side, looking forward down the hallway, and decide to press on.
Hlin you see nothing down the passage, you don’t see anything moving. Garth is a second set of eyes behind you, he sees no movement as well, all is quiet. You are both using your dark vision to see ahead, there is some light from Javier’s quill also behind you. After traveling roughly 3 feet down the landing on the other side of the pit, passage, as Hlin is walking in front, a section in the wall in a beam 3 foot by 6 foot shoots out from the left side of the wall to 1/2 of the width of the passageway. The beam strikes Hlin in the side for 3 hit points of bludgeoning damage. She groans as it hits her ribs. The section of the wall shoots back and goes back into place, and all is quiet again.
Javier, as you are watching from behind, (and with your previous investigation roll), you watched her step forward and then the beam shot out. The feeling at the back of your brain is a little stronger, you feel that the pattern does have something to do with it, but you weren’t up front to directly see what happened. Hlin happened to be walking on the left side of the hallway. The pattern on the floor at this spot is from south to north, triangle, then sun, then bird head.

Hlin groans and stumbles back. "I am still breathing. Now what by the gods is going on here" She stands back and takes a torch from her pack and tosses it on the bird head to see what happens.

Belkaria watches warily as Hlin is attacked yet again by this hallway that is apparently boobytrapped. She heads over to where Hlin was standing when the beam came out of the wall and checks the floor to see if there is any pressure plates or anything of the sort.

Javier steps to the front with his light held at eye level. Catching on to what Belkaria is doing he assists in her investigation and cast's mage hand/uses his telekinesis to see if he can put pressure on each of the different symbols. He thinks back to his notes and tries to make sense of the pattern.. "I wonder if these symbols mark a path that we're supposed to follow.. this place hmmm, the symbols are probably a guide for those familiar at least that's one possible answer."
Hlin takes out a torch and tosses it on a bird head, and nothing happens. She’s rubbing her ribs, sore from the impact.
Javier is providing light with his quill, Garth decides to light a torch to help with light as well. But Garth and Javier can’t sort out what is happening, what triggered the beam to strike Hlin.
But when Belkaria comes over and actually bends down in the light, talking to Salamir as she does so, and after Hlin threw her torch, and she examines the floor more carefully, she is able to determine that there are pressure plates on the floor, and it seems to be coming from the bird heads. When she’s examining the bird head further, it appears to be the head of a raven. You motion everyone back, bend down very low and apply more pressure than a thrown torch can apply (such as walking on the plate) and the beam juts out again, just over your head, from the same side that the raven head is on. You remove your hand and the beam goes back in place.

"Whew! Well all right then. Take care to not step on these birds, well raven heads as we progress and hopefully we won't hit anymore booby traps." She turns around and catches the attention of the orcs, "You hear that? Do NOT step on a birds head. They could be trapped." Belkaria steps over to Hlin, "Are you alright? And are you still good with leading us through this crazy place?"
Javier writes the discovery down in his book, smiling at Belkaria "Duly noted. I wonder if we should keep our wits about us just in case there's a change in the pattern.... I'll keep my light low to the ground for anyone who might need it. Just in case. I'm sure there will be more traps built into this place too... Hiln if you want a break, maybe one of us can lead for now?"
"Nice spot, Belkaria", Salamir says as she figures out the how to avoid the traps.
"I would offer to take the lead for a bit, but I am a little the worse for wear myself at the moment. I would echo your caution, whoever leads Javier", he adds rubbing his wounded shoulder again.
"Ah. you big wuss" Belkaria says to Salamir, smiling. "But I can take the lead, hopefully not stepping on a raven's head is the only trick to this cave..." and she sidles up to the front of the line, using her darkvision to guide the troop on.

"I think we need to pause and take stock, maybe examine the traps we have come across and figure out a way to spot any further ones".
