Sarros's action was already used to cast the fire bolt, and either way, the Intimidation attempt failed.

After Ban and Grol speak, the forest walker looks at you both quizzically as if it hasn't heard Common for quite some time, or doesn't know it at all.

The tree can sense the aggressive body language of Grol and takes a big sweeping blow at him with one of its branches. Attack: 21 Damage: 11 bludgeoning to Grol.

A branch slams into Grol hard and then the forest walker uses 2 of its remaining 3 branches to grasp on Grol at his waist to grapple him. Grol, please make an Athletics or Acrobatics check to escape (DC 13).

With its final branch, it swings at Zephyros for slashing into its trunk. Attack: 15 Damage: 6 bludgeoning damage.

The branch swings just high of the Triton and misses.

Realgâr is up.

Realgâr says, "You are kindling!". casting Vicious Mockery at the forest Walker. WIS ST 13 10. The Forest Walker's upper leafy vegetation sways as it looks to be fighting off an assault on its mind.

 As a bonus action, Realgâr chants "Be healed friend!" Healing Word to Grol healing him for 6 HP.

 Grol has no time to react as the first branch come crashing into him. Staggering, he looks up to see the monster swiping at him. He just manages to deflect the grasp when he feels the healing warmth from Realgars healing. 

“So much for diplomacy! Thank you for the heating! Thing packs a whollup!” He says to Realgar.

Ban will go to Gol's aid. Taking the dagger in a reverse grip, she inserts the blade's flat between the branch and the paladin and assists in prying him out from the creature's grasp. Read Help action.

Zephyros will continue swing his sword, this time though with Sarro gone he calls forth lightning from the sky and strikes it.

After seeing his firebolt smoulder just that little bit longer than usual, Sarros smirks slightly.

He claps his hands together forcefully, before pulling them apart slowly, as if a magnetic field was trying to pull them back together. Inside, small licks of flame can be seen dancing in a spherical pattern before a blazing red 4inch diameter sphere materialises in the palm of his hand. Sarros brings his arm back and like a baseball pitch, chucks a fire chromatic orb at the treant.

To hit: 14 damage 21 fire damage

Grol breaks free of the grasping branches just before they tighten around his body without any help from Ban. Grol may still take an action this turn since he won the contest.

Ban may also take an action as well since Grol didn't need help.

Zephyros, do you happen to recall the initial rolls for your attack? 15 AC is the magic number.

Sarros hurls a ball of burning energy that whizzes past the tree and strikes the ground behind it. What may be described as fear is the feeling that the Forest Walker puts out get when the orb of fire flies past him, barely missing.

Ban and Grol still up.

Shaking off the grasp of the tree beast, Grol swings his sword at it! Attack: 17 Damage: 8

He will use his movement to keep close to Ban.

She goes to Gol's aid, but the burly paladin doesn't need it. Instead, Ban races past him as she unbuckles her recently acquired +1 rapier and jabs forward at the creature at a chest-level knothole. Reeling her weapon back in an upwards flourish, she makes herself small and retreats backwards behind the paladin as a cunning action.

Zephyros's longsword fails to cut into the Forest Walker's bark as he clumsily flails at it.

Grol takes his longsword and hacks into the trunk, splinters flying and dark amber sap oozes from the wound, he then keeps close to Ban by shifting slightly.

Ban stabs at a vulnerable, soft spot in the Forest Walker's bark. Her rapier pokes a deep hole into the knot and a bit of dark sap sticks to the tip of her sword then uses her agility to slip behind the safety of Grol.

The Forest Walker rumbles and swings a branch in a downward motion at Zephyros's head! Attack: 19 Damage: 10 bludgeoning

It then swings a branch in a sweeping motion into Realgâr. Attack: 19 Damage: 10 bludgeoning

Zephyros is smashed on top of his head and Realgâr gets a branch into his side and knocks the wind out of him with an "Oof!"

The Forest Walker then uses its final two branches to attempt a grapple on Zephyros! Two branches converge onto Zephyros and squeeze him around the waist. Zephyros make an Athletics or Acrobatics check DC 13 to escape.

Realgâr is up.

He takes out his horn and blows a strange sounding deep note into it, which seems to only affect the tree. Dissonant Whispers 9 psychic damage. WIS ST by Forest Walker 10

The Forest Walker violently shakes its two upper branches and begins stomping away from Realgâr as fast as it can, running 30 ft into the forest and tries to take Zephyros with him! The ground trembles at it quickly stomps away from the group, but still has a feeling of anger in its body language.

Realgâr takes his warhammer and swings at it for an Attack of Opportunity. Attack: 12 Damage: 10. His attack is  just a bit too slow and misses the Forest Walker.

Grol, you may make a free melee attack of opportunity as well, before taking your normal action.

Grol, seeing the creature turning to run, takes his attack of opportunity! Attack: 19 Damage: 8

I would like to hold on to my action, if the creature continues to run, Grol will allow him to retreat. If he manages to grab Zephyros, Grol will continue his attack.

Sarros channels another snake like spiral of arcane fire around his arm, and casts fire bolt at the treant for good measure. To hit: 7 dmg 4 fire damage 

Grol quickly hacks into one of the Forest Walker's roots, cutting one off. 

(The tree is only running because of Dissonant Whispers. Judging by it attempting to hold onto Zephyros as it runs after failing its save, it will likely remain hostile)

Sarros fires a bolt of fire at it, but it sails harmlessly into the air above it.

The Forest Walker moves away from the party and you can still see it through the heavily forested surroundings around you. If Zephyros fails his check, he is grappled and the Forest Walker runs 15ft away from the party with Zephyros in its clutches (movement by *the grappler* is halved). If Zephyros succeeds then he is not grappled and the Forest Walker moves 30 ft. If anyone wishes to make melee attacks at it this turn, then you'll need to move towards it either way.

Zephyros, if you succeed your check then you may take a full turn this round.

As the forest walker retreats, Ban will throw the dagger in her right hand, aiming for center mass, but will otherwise stay behind the half-orc paladin. Hiding behind his larger form, she will take out another dagger while hiding via cunning action.

Grol closes the distance between him and the tree beast and takes another attack. Attack: 16 Damage: 10

Zephyros - Either Athletics or Acrobatics

Ban's dagger flies true and sticks into the back of the tree as it stomps away. Hiding is relatively easy, given the density of trees so Ban remains hidden.

Grol moves closer to follow the Forest Walker and takes a swing into its back, cutting into it deeply.

Zephyros is up, pending his check, followed by the Forest Walker and Realgâr.

The Forest Walker has taken several hits and appears to be close to looking hurt.

Getting hit by the trees branch, Zephyros gets angrier as he pushes aside the others trying to grapple him. He quickly follows the tree aim to kill it in one stroke attacking recklessly!

Zephyros breaks free of the branches and the Forest Walker runs 30 ft into the forest. He gives chase, but is unable to connect with his longsword.

The Forest Walker becomes unaffected by Realgâr's spell and turns to see Grol and Zephyros have chased it. With its branches, it swings wildly into both of them!

As a bonus action, he uses his last spell slot to cast Healing Word on Zephyros for 5 HP

The Forest Walker succumbs to Realgâr's psychic assault and begins to stumble around clumsily (disadvantage on attacks)

The Forest Walker has multiple wounds on it, and now appears to be bloodied. (54 dmg overall, bloodied)

Grol and Zephyros are next to the Forest Walker, who has ran 30ft into the forest, Ban remains a little bit behind Grol, Realgâr is 10 ft behind Grol and Zephyros, Sarros remains further back on the trail after his Misty Step, approximately 40-50 ft away.
