Though the path is steep and rocky, the route is relatively dry and full of handholds. There are some close calls, but you all manage to pull yourselves to the top of the outcrop.
You find a beautiful panoramic vista of the sea stretched out before you as the trees seem to take less of a hold here. You are able to see the town down below, hundreds of torchlights like little orange dots across it. to the northeast, you have a great view of the sea crashing against the rocks below and along the shore for another 100ft to the northwest before ducking back behind the cliff..
It has taken you about 30 minutes to come to this point.

Durnir loses his grip on the hand holds a few times, but manages to make it up. A little out of breath, he says "That...hrrrf, hrrf, hrrf...That wasn't too bad. Now lets have a look shall we."
"Helm, guide my sight". Durnir will cast guidance on himself.

( I am totally assuming Adaban was given the darkvision, otherwise he is stumbling around impressively! )
Adaban looks out with silent appreciation at the grand view, totally distracted from any harm which might befall the group. He continues to follow, taking small moments to appreciate the details, large and small, of the group's journey. To whomever is walking nearest him he says, "Danger is found with every path in one's life, but so too is beauty. This place has much of both to offer, one feels."
Ivy stops abruptly just before walking into Durnir’s back. Realizing they’ve reached a destination with Adaban admiring the sights, she plops down onto the ground to rest their feet and rub their shins. She tripped over rocks and walked into too more stumps than she’d like to admit. Adaban was right though, it was a nice view.

You would in fact see the small figure of an individual hiking across the rocky shore below. Judging by their gait and clothing, you would be able to safely assume it is Khione.
Additionally, as you're looking down at the rocks below, you spy pieces of splintered wood, cloth, and similar detritus crashing up against the rocks with every swelling tide. Gulls appear to pick through some of it. Looking along the shore, you continue to see it all the way up until the shore tucks back behind the ridge to your north, out of sight.
Durnir looks down at Khione. "Well that's where that little elf lady got to. What's she doing down there?"
Durnir will nod to Walf "Use your words, I've never been into tweeting. But, I get it. And look there, see all that coming up on shore. Looks like there might have been a ship wreck. It's continuing north, past the ridge. Let's go have a look."
Durnir will wave his arms to try to get Khione's attention. Then point towards the north where they are headed. "WE... ARE... GOING.... NORTH." Durnir will shout. "Elves can see in the dark, right?" Durnir will start to head north. As they start heading north, Durnir will give a quick prayer to helm, and everything comes in much better view for Ivy, Walf, Davis, and Adaban. (300ft Dark Vision). {Assuming it's just getting dark now}
North, hm? Khione would sigh through her nose, then glance northwards past the cliff. She wondered what the group had found that was in that direction- seeing as it was mostly overgrowth, from her perspective at least- but at fifty feet below, she didn't really have much place to argue. Moving away from the cliff, she'd begin heading north, hoping that their paths would cross at some point.
Once Walf finished his tweet, Ivy would pop themselves to their feet. She'd place a gentle hand on his shoulder and reassure with a smile. "No apologies necessary!" They lean in to whisper back. "He's the one showin' his age." Ivy winks with a playful nudge.
When Durnir finishes shouting, waving his arms and asks his question, Ivy tilts their head in thought. She pats their nose with a finger a moment before motioning and tugging at the tips of their pointy ears. "The real ones do!" They give a sheepish grin. Not having pure elven blood Ivy couldn't see the in dark but if Khione was, she'd good to go. "Good thing we have you!" Ivy gently boops Durnir on the nose. "Thank youuuuuuu." Then with a bounce that matched Walf's energy, Ivy spins to face north. "To the north!" She declares with a stride forward.
After around ten minutes of traversing the rocky shore and ridge, you all round the northern outcrop.
You see what you have been looking for - a seemingly shallow bay of sharp rocks with a protruding shipwreck about 100ft off the shore, smashing up against the rocks with the rhythm of the waves. There are many birds flying about, but you don't see any other living creatures. Debris is scattered amongst the rocks. From this distance, it is not possible to discernable say what the debris is, but it looks similar to that which you've seen along the shore - tattered cloth, shattered wood, etc.
The cliff has steadily been climbing in elevation, and those of you on top are now about 75ft above the shore.
"Well, looks like we found where the bird got that pretty." Davis comments as he looks down from atop the cliff. "Do we find a way down there tonight, or return in the morning to have a closer look?"

No worries! It happens.
(Durnir, you'd definitely notice the silhouette of Khione below the cliff, looking up at all of you and clearly trying to figure out a way up there.)
Walf motions to go north and then motions his hands like a bird and starts to tweet indicating it’s what the bird told him

Walf laughs embarassed "Walf sorry. Walf excited. Walf follow Durnir to shipwreck. Bird friend told Walf north to shipwreck."
