If the bell is run we are done, they don’t know we are here, if we can all shoot at range, half at each guard we might be able to take them both down at the same time, if we don’t we are in a tough spot. The distraction of releasing the prisoners is a good idea but not sure how to make it happen without being spotted

Yellow looks around the group. "I think it's now or never," she says, trying to instill as much encouragement into her voice and facial expression as she can. "Take out the guards at the top of the tower. That's step one." She takes a deep breath. "Ready?" She waits as the others prepare their attacks. She places her empty paw to her chest and a slight glow appears there. "Now." Yellow throws out her arm and an undulating, warbling mass of chaotic energy flies at the pirate on the left.

Taggart mutters in celestial imbuing his bow with his crimson rite as a bonus action. Then he takes a steadying breath and fires at the pirate on the left.

Just after everyone launches their attacks, Solis climbs down the ladder beside them, "I brought us some help."
As you all turn around, climbing down just above him you see a cloak made of various leaves draped over a thin frail body, with clawed hands and feet. The figure turns toward you and you see dark turquoise scales glistening in the little, a long snout sticks out from under the hood. Peering through the darkness of the hood is a pair of ruby red eyes staring back at you. It looks like a smile may be coming across his face but you can't tell. "Name Weloh. I save WhiteEyes in jungle. Help with Pirates, yes?"
Strapped to his back he pulls out his staff. A large piece of bone, maybe from a pteradon, carved intricately with various beasts: a stegasuarus, ankylosaurus, and t rex of note. And attached to his hip is a bone mace made from the club tail of an anylosaurus.
The sudden assault on the pirates lasted only a few seconds but when it was all said and done the pirates didn't have a chance and dropped where they stood without raising any alarms.
"Up safe maybe. Dark though, ShortSword. I no see in dark, blind like bat." Another awkward weird look comes over Welohs face. Again you can't really tell if he's smiling or going to be sick.

"Well that was effective"Kvothe says with a grin. He continues "we need to get at least two people up there ASAP, so if anybody glaces up they'll think the post is still manned". He goes on to say "probably should be fairly normal looking types - say Kaslo and Taggart."

"Hail Weloh, I am Kaslo. Should we live to see another day, I would like to hear more about yourself."
My blue skin might stand out in the light, but manning the large weapon mounted up there sounds fun so I’m game. I can’t really see to well in the dark though so we should get over there quickly. It might be suspicious if someone looks out and doesn’t see guards in the tower.
(Did the pirates have any hats or identifying pieces of gear on that we could see from the ground?)

"Taggart, your ability to float may be needed to rescue the prisoners. Solis and I should be left on the tower. Solis can man the ballista and I can attack with my new abilities if need be. My armor may draw attention we need to avoid." She looks at Kvothe and Taggart. "Can you two get us up there quickly? The rest of you can continue around." She hands Krav her spear. "Another spear if you need it. I'd really like it back when the battle is over, though."
"No worries cobber" Kvothe says. He takes off his frontpack grabs Yellow gently around the waist and flies her up to the Watchtower where he sets her down.
"We up there. No stay here." Weloh looks at the party. "RedWing leave Meow up alone? Not safe, not safe..." Weloh begins shaking his head. "Someone go now!"
"Thank you. Go!" she says urgently, but quietly. Yellow inspects the bodies of the two pirates, looking for anything she and Solis should put on to make them appear to be the deceased. She's not looking in pockets; this is purely for "costume" purposes.

With the first spear missing, Krav grunts in frustration, entering a rage as he grabs his second spear and hurls it with both hands at the same guard.
