Zaius hoots with glee as he takes his uniform and looks over the activity checklist “Do you guys see this, a gym assault course. Now that sounds like fun. Can’t wait to see what type of weapons the Corps has in store for us” He looks over at Xavier “I am sure you can find something other than a stick!”
He bounds down the hallway after the others as they go find their quarters. “Let’s go. Maybe we will all be bunkmates”
You make your way to the cadet quarters level, and through a security checkpoint where another copy of the warning notice you received is posted. The guards let you though with little delay, after checking your names against their list. You pass through into an area that contains a dormitory for you cadets and a smaller dorm for academy graduates; the Weeping Goddess tavern, which is largely deserted at this time of the morning but looks like it gets fairly raucous in the evenings; a refectory for cadets to have their meals, where a few cadets with no morning class are still eating a late breakfast out on the patio, looking out over the water far below; washrooms, the academy kitchens, and the laundry.
As you enter the dormitory, a giff duty officer takes down your names and hands out bunk assignments. As you all go to drop off your spare uniform in the footlockers provided by each bed, Roy notices that he has been assigned a particularly desirable bunk, in an airy spot under a window, next to the laundry. Before he reaches it, though, you see four older cadets marching toward you. One of them—a confident-looking moon elf—hurls her kit bag onto the bunk and says to you with a sneer, "Change of plan, greenie. This bunk’s mine now. Go tell the duty officer it wasn't to your liking, and we'll get ourselves swapped over. Tell him you've traded bunks with Veena." The elf points to an unkempt bunk in the noisiest section of the dorm, just outside the washrooms.
Xavier, being the closest behind Roy, watches as Veena roughly toss his bag onto Roy's bunk. Xavier, still pretty pissed off, finally finds a safe place to vent it. Well, relatively safe. He claps his hand on Roy's shoulder, and whispers "get ready for a scuffle friend" then turns to the gang, with a smile as big as it was phony. "Now now, Veena? Was it? That hardly seems fair. The officers not liking you enough to give you a decent spot Isn't his fault. And if I'm being honest, I'm not very surprised they don't. Now Veena, one of two things can happen now. Either A. You go back to the spot you were given, or B. We get into a scrap, and you learn that fighting a martial artist unarmed isn't exactly a good idea. Take your pick."
He was taking a calculated risk, and he knew it. For all he knew, Veena could be the best martial artist in the land. But he hated these kinds of people, and knew they wouldn't be in a group unless he didn't feel confident alone. So he tensed, ready to strike or be struck
Enarie kept herself in the background to not make a bad impression sees an opportunity to stand in good light gets to Veena and Xavier
Now i dont think we need to make a commotion. Last time i checked bunks were made for sleeping, not to start fights. Lets just take our assigned places, ok?

Roy calmy walks over, picks up the bag Veena tossed on his bunk tosses it in the direction of the unkempt bunk and deposits his own bag in its place on the bunk.
OOC: Roy is waiting for whatever attack is sure to follow. He has Snare ready in his head and since it's touch my assumption is that any part of his body can be touching the intended target so whoever is the first one to physically touch Roy will get snared after which Roy will punch/kick them in the most vulnerable area he can discern. Roy doesn't fight fair, he fights to win.
Unarmed Attack: 21 Damage: 1
Edit: Well that didn't go as planned. Of course I get a Nat 1 at the very first change Roy has to establish his rep. LOLOL
Edit 2: Scratch the snare, I misread it, thought it was a simple cantrip not an involved one.
Edit 3: It didn't like the line through I did and it regenerated my roll for some reason. Original roll was a Nat 1.

[You don't have any weapons or armor; you might have a few personal items (e.g. trinkets from your background; Gloix as a wizard would have to have a spellbook to have prepared spells from) but nothing too significant. You could have gone to stores first; on the other hand while the faculty might overlook a little fisticuffs, it's probably not a good idea to be attacking your fellow cadets with lethal weaponry...]
"Wow, so it's straight to violence, is it? How uncivilized." Veena easily dodges Roy's punch, then looks at Enarie, "Are these the sort of people you want to be associating with? If 'people' is even the right word," she adds with a glance toward Gloix, Rel and Zaius. She then gestures to one of the cadets behind her, and he steps forward to take a swing at Roy.
[Unarmed strike vs Roy: 5 Damage: 2 bludgeoning damage] [I'm not going to bother calling for initiative for this little scuffle, we'll just take whichever one of you posts first, then one of them]
Xavier laughs as Veena calls another member of his gang to take a punch at Roy, hitting him... Kind of. He couldn't help but cringe at the inefficiency of the blow. Pathetic really. "Wow Veena, not even fighting your own battles. Shame, thought you'd at least be somewhat competent. Lucky for you guys, I happen to know a sleep spell, and I got my focus right here." Xavier takes a body shot punch at Veena (moving if necessary) then follows it up with a quick punch on the nose"
Roy grunts, rocking back on his heals as the assailant’s punch solidly connects with him. He takes a step back and readies himself for the next attack.
Veena reels and falls backward, stumbling into her entourage who awkwardly try to catch her, and lay her on the floor, unconscious. Slightly franticly, one of them pulls a potion from their pocket and tips it to Veena's mouth. She comes to, sputtering, and sits up, face covered in blood. "By noge!" she cries indignantly. "You groke by noge, you, you gargarian!" She gets to her feet and snatches another potion from her cronies and downs it quickly, her nose magically setting itself only slightly crooked. "Fine, I don't want this gunk— bunk anyway, it stinks of loser."
Veena stalks away, nose in the air, and the other cadets scurry after her. You're able to stow your gear in relative peace, and are ready to move on to your next task.
Roy turns to the others, “Thanks for the backup,” and set about squaring his bunk away, casually keeping an eye on Veena and her cronies looking for signs of the inevitable second attempt at establishing dominance. He makes a mental note to see if he can get a raw fish from from the kitchen.

[Well that takes care of that!]
(Ooc I did warn her. I really did)
Xavier looks in satisfaction as his fists connected with veena's stomach and nose, and steps back as she collapses into her group. A potion that her cronies apparently just had helped fix her nose, which was a shame. People like her deserved to have a reminder for their stupidity. As she stalks away, Xavier calls back. "It sure does smell like loser, so if you couldn't bleed all over here next time that'd be great." . And with that, he goes to his bunk, and stows what little gear he has, and looks back at the group. "Alrighty then. That was fun. So next thing on the agenda, getting gear yes?"

(hehehehe fun time)
(if a scuffle breaks out, being the only one with unarmored defense is going to be quite nice)
