Peren lunges forward, dealing a gruesome wound to the wolf he is fighting.
The Dire Wolf struggles to its feet, bones popping and ligaments ripping as it snaps at Thont, eyes wide with fury and pain, trying to drag him down to the ground with it.
Dire Wolf bite vs. Thont's AC: 16, 4 piercing damage. If hit, Thont's STR Save (DC 13) or knocked prone: 17
Seeing the rest of its pack fall to our heroes, the remaining wolf gives a fearful yelp and darts off towards the brush across the steaming stream, its splashes and wet footfalls trailing off into the night. It is quiet now. As you try to bring your exerted hearts back down to a more normal rhythm and your breath begins to slow, you look around and see the spoils of your victory this night. At Thont's feet lies one very dead Dire Wolf, near Gavin a dead Wolf as well. Kathra is awash with blood and gore, standing near the mostly exploded remains of her Wolf foe. Some of you are injured, other less so. Your fight doesn't seem to have attracted any attentions from the structure built upon the crumbling glacier; it stands almost stoic in the pale light of the moon.
((Okay, we're out of combat now. If you want to tend to your wounds and decide what you are doing with the rest of your night, I just need to know who plans on doing the final watch before dawn, as the middle watches should be relatively quiet and the party will definitely come out of this with a full rest.))

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
((Peren is down to 10 hit points, should we roll hit dice before we go to sleep, or does the long rest give us back our hit points?)) Peren will go to his tent, bandage up his wounds, and go to sleep.
Seeing the last wolf run off, Kathra laughs again before turning to the exploded corpse at her feet. She kneels down and mutters her thanks to it for the fight, then stands again and heads to the stream. Wading into the middle, she rolls about a bit like a bird might, and it is entirely likely that she just swaps the blood for mud, but she seems refreshed by it. She dips her axe into the stream as well, then rummages through her pack for a bit of cloth to dry it. At this point she notices the bite wounds and wraps some cloth around the wounds. Still steaming a bit from the stream, she finally seems to remember her party members around her.
"Everyone okay? A few wolves weren't enough to kill any of you, I'll wager." She notices Thont looking a bit rougher than the rest and tosses him some of the cloth she used to wrap her own wounds. "You gave that dire wolf quite the fight, I see. Impressive." She sits down on the ground and begins sharpening her axe, humming a tune to herself and seeming immensely satisfied with the night's activities.
((Kathra will go ahead and spend a hit die just in case - she'll get it back with a long rest anyway: 11))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gavin looks around at the carnage his party has created and is pleased he has joined up with some capable people. He looks down at the dire wolf “And you thought Wwe looked like an easy meal this night. He notices his leg is bleeding where the wolf bit him and dresses his wound. (Heals up 1 hit die recovering 3 HP.
He sees everyone tending to their wounds and says “Well done everyone, that could have been worse. Go ahead and get some rest and I will take the next watch. If we had some more time Thont, I would skin that dire wolf and make a cape for you as a souvenir. Looks about your size, but we have more pressing matters before us.” as he looks toward the glacier.
Your watch is mostly uneventful. It isn't until the very end that you catch a weird, rainbow-like glimmer from inside the glass walls of the very top of the lonely structure atop the crumbling glacier. It is brief, maybe just a few seconds, and seems to move quickly around the small uppermost glass dome before disappearing.

Thont smiles at the notion of a new cape and enjoys the fanciful idea of an attachment for a moment before releasing it to tend to his wounds. Rolls a couple hit die: 8, 6
Thont enjoys the remainder of the earned rest and meditates when not sleeping, ready to explore the nearby structure in the morn.
Peren stabs the wolf that is attacking him with his rapier
Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Peren lunges forward, dealing a gruesome wound to the wolf he is fighting.

Dire Wolf bite vs. Thont's AC: 16, 4 piercing damage. If hit, Thont's STR Save (DC 13) or knocked prone: 17
Mirabel dashes towards one of the wolves (E) and gives him a big ol' electric hug.
Attack: 20 Damage: 3
((Apparently the wolf cannot take reactions until the start of its next turn now))
Thont breathes a sigh of relief through the pain of the bite, happy he's at least still standing.
Gavin jumps up and drops his war hammer on the wolf. Attack: 21 Damage: 6
He then, as his bonus action has his spiritual weapon stab into the dire wolf. Attack: 23 Damage: 7
After seeing both of them fall he says “Tempus thanks you” as he moves over to engage the last remaining wolf.
Thont nods thankfully at Gavin and throws his hip-held boomerang at the remaining wolf: 6 - thankfully it returns on the miss!
((lol, I just deleted my pre-rolled damage when I saw it miss; certainly no manipulation just so I could whiff lol))

Peren will roll one hit die as well = 7
((Yeah, effectively, whatever hit dice you spend to heal you will get back at the end of the long rest, so you may as well use them.))
((Thanks))
Peren will use a second hit die = 4
Peren also offers to take final watch, seeing he only needs 4 hours of meditation to be rested.

((My bad Peren, didnt read we only needed one more watch))
For Gavin:

Thont enjoys the remainder of the earned rest and meditates when not sleeping, ready to explore the nearby structure in the morn.
Peren says to Gavin “after the wolf attack, I think it was wise for both of us to keep watch”
(( I share my observations with the group in the morning)), “Mirabel, you have any idea what that is?”
Thont wonders aloud if something woke up for the morning in the structure. Are there any tracks leading up to it?
