Festan's tall and obviously strong, covered in scars, but he's not huge. Marrin's not the strongest, but she's pretty sure she has it in her to move Festan off the ledge.
Jan's blast of energy catches the hobgoblin completely off guard and rips a hole in his shoulder that spins him around, killing him before he even hits the ground.
You've heard rumor that the Hargroves don't necessarily take kindly to the killing of 'performers' but Godrick hasn't raised any objections so far.
The crowd however is incredibly enthusiastic about the power of Jan's eldritch blast, cheering and shouting loudly.
Marrin does her best to play at the insecurities of the rope, but not being familiar with the very nuanced expressions of emotion a length of hemp rope has, she's not sure if her mockery had any effect.
The three hobgoblins, seeing that they're getting picked off quickly realized they're going to need to move quickly. Two of the hobbies quickly become something of a spring-loaded platform for the third hobgoblin to leap off of. He backs up a couple of feet, runs forward, gets into the hands of the first hobgoblin which gets him on to the shoulders of the second, which he uses as a point to leap off of and forward to get onto the platform.
With a crash he scrambles and pulls himself up on to the platform before the cat below even notices. He comes to a stop next to the prone and still sleeping Festan.
Hammerdasher looks at Avaria, happy that their foes all appear to have been defeated.
Ethel selects a point 10' over the head of the hobgoblin who just reached the platform (or higher, if necessary, so as not to catch Marrin in the same area of effect) and once again casts sleep.

"Well, we're not done!" Avaria responds to Hammerdasher as she follows #6 to the other group of hobgoblins. Heading for the nearest unhurt one, she attempts a repeat of before..
Attack: 25 Damage: 11
Then shouts up to Marrin, "Need any help up there or want me to just keep working on these fellas?"
Avaria thumps another hobgoblin straight in the chest, bringing this one to his news. The hobgoblin collapses onto the sand.
The crowd, who had enjoyed the magic and initial fighting is becoming restless. There's even a few boos; mostly likely delivered at what they see as a fairly boring encounter now with the hobgoblins dropping like flies.
Ula finally makes her way around the cat and arrives beside Avaria as the one hobgoblin falls to the ground.
She reaches out and swings at the other with the mace she was carrying.
"You alright, Ava?" Ula asks as she attacks the hobgoblin, using as much of her attention to check her companion for any wounds as she does to connect with the hobgoblin.
Ula, distracted by concern for Avaria completely misses the remaining hobgoblin.
The remaining cat pulls again on its restraints. This time the already weakened bolts come loose and the big black lion pulls the chain free and leaps away from the base of the tower. It snarls and roars.
And this brings the crowd back to life. Maybe this will be a bit more interesting.
For the moment the cat eyes Avaria, Ula, Hammerdasher and the remaining hobgoblin. But it also sweeps its vision of the group near the entrance, and even looks up at the activity on the platform.
Marrin grabs onto the pole and tries to make her way up to the next level. She gets a hold and steps off the platform and gets her full weight supported by the pole and almost immediately begins to slide down.
Dex Check (DC 10) to see if manage to stop the slide at the platform you're on or continue on down to the ground.
Festan and Hob 1 snore peacefully next to each other as Marrin scrambles on the pole.
Hammerdasher eyes the angry black lion warily, not wanting to attract its attention but also not sure what to do next. He raises his shield and just readies himself for a potential attack. At the same time he eyes Avaria and Ula and raises a bushy eyebrow, waiting for them to take the lead.
At the sounds of the cat moving about, Adelysia wakes up and moves back against the portcullis to the prep room as much as she can.

With the cat loose, Ethel walks away from the gate, shaking her head in contempt at the cowardly Adelysia; one too gutless to even play dead.
She shakes her hand and then curls it up into a claw. "Let's wrap it up, Marrin. Those hobs aren't going to sleep all day," she hollers up to the platform.
Then she brings the clawed hand to her mouth and whispers the incantation to cast [spell]chill touch[spell]. A spectral, ghostly hand appears along side the cat and tries to clutch it.

Marrin, nothing comes to mind why you shouldn't be able to push Festan off the ledge, even if you need to give it all you have.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Will wait for Marrin to decide whether she performs an action this round or not before moving on to the remaining three hobbies.
Marrin will pocket dealing with Festan until his hob buddies are dealt with and will instead call up to the rope, on Festan's side,
"Are you rope, or just a stupid snake?"

The last of the non-sleeping hobgoblins get knocked off his feet from the crackling energy unleashed by Jan.
More magic and an angry cat moving about has the crowd energized and shouting for more.
-------------------------------------
Marrin's up.
Marrin looks down at the freed cat as she answers Ava,
"Nah, I think I successfully shouted the rope into submission. Probably best to finish this up before the crowd gets too bored."
Sighing she starts trying to climb the greased pole up.

The black lion turns suddenly when the icy cold hand makes contact with it. The cat roars loudly, seemingly more angry than hurt.
