Yabo, the far end of the cavern is a wall of rubble. It seems likely that a cave in blocked your path. You feel you could move the stones, but the area is pretty large and will take a while. Roll Perception for me
Yabo feels a little extra sharpness to his vision from a little jolt he got from Gan as he swam by (Guidance from post 502 so can add a d4 to that perception roll if it helps)
Yabo, as you look across the wall of rubble preparing to start digging. You notice a particular strand of seaweed on one side of the wall which rather than standing straight is blowing away from the wall. Looking closer, you can see that it's caused by current flowing through a small gap in the stones. Through the gap you see a tunnel continuing onward and you know exactly where to dig. You're able to quickly clear enough rubble to open up another narrow tunnel.
More than that, thanks to Gan's guidance, you are keenly watching the seaweed moving in the current as you open up the way. You notice that as new water flows freely in, some of the seaweed on the eastern wall parts revealing that there is some space in this cavern that you hadn't noticed before.
Do you want to head in to the tunnel or explore behind the seaweed?
Gan watches, Onizos go over to the seaweed. Gan almost reminds him that they're in a race, but then realizes that might be the way through. While Onizos investigates the seaweed, Gan slips into the opening that Yabo has made and takes a look at what lies ahead in that direction.
Onizos, behind the seaweed you find a clumsily stacked pile of stones which are attempting to conceal three potions of healing, likely stashed here by some hopeful contestant planning to gain an advantage if they were in the race.
The tunnel behind the cave-in slopes downward before turning left and opening up to reveal the largest cave yet. Silvery light dances along the walls of this underwater cave. The water here is a little warmer, and a gentle current pulls you toward a crevice in the south wall that emits shimmering golden light. There's no sign of the other team yet, but prowling around the cave’s pillars is a massive shark. A gold amulet hangs from a thick rope tied around the shark’s body, and a silver spear protrudes from its side.
Onizos takes the potions and stuffs one in a pocket of his armor. He gives one to Yabo and the other to Igreis, figuring they would be able to make the most use of the potions.
It's about 20 ft away from the entrance that the group is currently in, circling the cavern. It will almost certainly notice you if you leave the tunnel or by the time it circles back around towards you.
(( This is a weird spell. Let me know if you think I’m overreaching with it! ))
If the shark fails a DC13 int save, then Oni will use the spell to convince the shark that he and his teammates (or at minimum just Yabo) will appear as a boiling hot magma monster. Attacking or even being in the vicinity of the magma monster(s) will expose the shark to scalding hot water, hot enough to burn and cause damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Igreis will ready his rapier as he sees the others prepare to fight the shark, a similar shape appearing in the shadowy grasp of his echo. If the others move to attack he will join in, otherwise he will watch and see if the shark is hostile.
Sure, Yabo swims forward.

Yabo will point to the seaweed as he finishes to clearing the way, in case anyone else wants to poke in there.

Yabo grins and gestures to the shark in a sort of "should I?" motion, having missed out on most of the sharky fun earlier.

Gan pats Yabo on the shell.
"Yeah, have fun big guy," Gan says. "But we has got to be quick like. Them others'll be here soon."
He flexes his fingers causing small arcs of electricity to leap across the knuckles, looking slightly diffused as the power goes through the water.

Yabo would want to wait until it's closer before charging it and raging, as he can't make it the 20ft swimming and still be able to attack.
