"If I recall, she has used a crossbow more than a few times," Neya says. "I have a good supply of arrows, but it never hurts to have another quiver's worth. I highly doubt Rynthrax is the only danger in that marsh."
Cassra gladly accepts Graxx's request to accompany him outside, even blushing a bit. When asked a question, she shares what first comes to mind: "They are known to-to-to-to be dragon worshipers. Lizardfolk speak Draconic, which th-th-they are thought to have learned from dr-dr-dra-dragons in ancient times. A tr-tr-tribe that w-wa-wanders into the territory of a dragon will offer it tribute to-to-to-to win its favor. An evil dragon m-mmm-mmm-might exploit lizardfolk for its own vile ends, turning them into raiders and pl-pl-plun-plunderers."
Arriving at the courtyard, Graxx rejoins Obsben a few moments after she has already agreed to Harper's opportunistic request. By then, the ever-obscured-by-his-hood half-elf had shared what he had learned about Ellison too. Namely, despite not spending much time with the unremarkable scribe, Harper had sensed that Ellison could be quite the stubborn character. He also mentions the man had looked quite tired the last two times he spotted him at the Library, a few days before these more recent thefts began.
Harper stops talking when Cassra rejoins, simply stating: "Another nice day for a meal-time walk in the courtyard, isn't it Master Scribe?" Cassra agrees with a soft smile and a rub of her freshly broken arm, but then urges Graxx and Obsben to give chase to the thief once more.
AT THE NOBLE'S QUARTERS:
Neya and Obsben grab a healthy serving of arrows and crossbow bolts (let me know how many) and swiftly exit the garrison, showing respect for Ekmong's time. The bright-red tiefling leads the duo to the gates and apologizes: "I must now return to my administrative duties. The next meeting awaits. Good luck and return safely. Today will mark a great victory to our joint efforts."
"Stubborn and Tired... Noted." Obsben whispered softly. "... Oh! Graxx! All done already? That's good, that's good. I just need to get Basil and we can be on our way... Unless you want to keep him here for a bit longer, Cassra? You know, for the company while you're recovering." She offered, and if accepted, nodded in further acquienscence and share but a few pointers about keeping Basil content (from what little she herself knew) prior to the duo's departure.
Otherwise, Obby is just as happy to make the quick journey back to Cassra's office to retrieve the beast, giving him plenty of scritches and her least salty travel jerky before officially departing the premise to meet back with the others at the closest exit towards the marsh, if not whatever stables seemed appropriate for Utar and Neya to pick up mounts of their own.
(OOC: I assume above game that as part of the compromise some agreement was made about a meet up point.)

”Yes, it was a informative short time.” says Graxx
”Where we are going has knee deep water so mounts will only slow us down. We should ride Glory back to the house and stable as she will not go with us into battle.”
Graxx thinks of the Lizards.
”Oh. There is a good chance we will be fighting Lizard people as well. So be ready for that.”
Graxx will lift Obsben up on Glory and then mount himself.
"Hmn~ True. Though if it's fairly far and Utar was able to get some servants to ride along with us to the edge to at least take back the mounts, I had hope to make the trip an expedient one." Obsben freely admits. "Then again, given his, uh... interaction with a certain 'character' here, I don't imagine he'd have the clever tongue to weave such request out of Lord Ekmong and his other retainers, let alone care to try I s'pose." She feigned an exasperated sigh and shook her head.
"Ah well~ Let's be off then, again-..."She looks back to Cassra, but held up her hands high for Graxx to pick her up. "If you don't mind keeping Basil for a little longer. Otherwise, happy to take him off your hands and leaving him to keep that sweet little kobold of the Chaotics company."

"That dirty mutt!?" Cassra goes to her default hate/fear of mastiffs first, but the reconsiders with a bit of embarrassment: "Well, he did look c-com-comf-comfortable up there... We wouldn't want to d-dis-dis-disturb the boy, would we?"
And agreement is struck and Basil is to remain with Cassra for now. Graxx jumps in and informs the halflings that Glory s to stay in town as well. Obsben makes it clear that this might slow the group down but has a feeling Utar and Neya may not have secured mounts of their own either...
Soon, the party is back at Leadstopper Residence. Graxx is making sure Glory has all she needs while the team catches up and shares the details of their little errands with each other. It is now early afternoon.
Utar shares out a case of bolts to both the other members of CRAP. Then sets out the 100gp from Ekmong and 250gp taken from the Cultlist they met and handed off to Aleyd Burrall.
"We've a little extra spending money, so assume that before we head out we stock up on potions and scrolls given the potential danger we're looking at."
Pausing, Utar lets the other members of CRAP set their own personal shopping desires out.
"Neya and I have not organised mounts, but if we're to be the ones hoofing it, I reckon we might be best setting out soon after checking our stock of rations?"
"I have one request for what we purchase and that is some type of things to keep bugs off you. The books talked about lots of insects being in this marsh and don't want one flying in my eye while we're trying to face down a dragon."
Graxx looks in his bag and sees his Potion of Flying Graxx retrieves it and holds it in his hand.
"I have what I mainly need. A way to get up on the back of that dragon and hack it's head off." says Graxx.
"So long as we don't expect to be there for a like week, I got plenty enough to share." Obsben assured Neya. But then glances over to Grax, and both she and Sourpuss winces a little at the man. "Then again, you tall folk probably need a bit more than anything I'd carry."
Turning afterwards to Utar, Obsben adds, "Any shopping we're to be doing, aughta be done in one fell swoop~ So, let's hit up whatever amounts to a market square here for those repellents and rations and let that be that. Our thief, if my sources are to be trusted, wasn't exactly in the best conditions before setting out. But if they have friends among the lizardfolks now, they might not be slowed nearly as much as we may want."With that, unless there's any objections, Obby makes for the door assuming any conversing was done inside, leaving any split of funding between the trio without a second thought.

Utar hands overs a case each of 20 crossbow bolts to Graxx and Obsben and then displays the team's war-chest: 350gp. The argument for bringing mounts seems to die out, but the group discusses buying other last-minutes supplies, including rations for Neya. With that in hand, the group hits Podol Plaza for a cool shopping montage.
Feel free to add a reasonable amount of the items below to your inventories by paying the PHB price for them;
Tell me what scrolls you are looking for and we can roll for them. Same goes for potions other than common healing potions. Also, are there any other items you have in mind?
@Obby/@Ori: No luck with the ring, but vials of antitoxin should be easy enough to track down. With a 7, though, the supply is limited and you only find one vial available for sale for 50gp. The materials for the find familiar spell are also available, but only enough for one serving/casting.
Rations and insect repellent are acquirable without issue.
@Lerus: She'll make do then and purchase the 1 vial of antitoxin, the familiar components, 2 potions of healing, and the insect repellent as mentioned previously for a total of: 164 gp.

(@MB: That was "a couple sets of rations," right? If so, 2 healing potions, 4 rations, and 4 salves should run you the 106gp you already mentioned. That excludes the extended shoppoing list.)
(@Ori: Got it!)

(@Drache: Similarly, 3gp will get you 6 rations, agreed?)
The groups walks through the Podol Plaza bazaar and also steps into the Scholars' Quarters in search of some scrolls, now that they are more familiar with the area. When both Obsben and Utar fail to find the specific spell scrolls they had in mind, CRAP returns to the bazaar area in search of less academically inclined items to buy. The trip to the Scholar's Quarters is not in vain, however, as the witchling manages to buy some spell casting supplies.
At the bazaar, the adventurers restock their supplies of food rations and introduce a new item to their regular collection: insect repelling salves. A good amount of coin goes into buying a few extra healing potions (common), and Obsben also splurges on a vial of antitoxin, just in case. Utar comes up with a shopping list on the fly but finds most of the items in it are hard to find on your average, rushed shopping trip. Some of the vendors even think he is joking when the half-orc passes by asking for potions that would require the talent of archmages to produce (very rare and legendary rarity!)
It is then that a shop clerk comes running from around the corner with a scroll case in hand. Utar recognizes the teen-aged human boy from one of the shops in the Scholar's Quarters from earlier. The boy says his master found a scroll that could help, based on an earlier description the Tormite had given. This is a spell scroll of Enlarge/Reduce. The boy stands ready to collect 201gp from Utar should he wish to complete the sale (including the scroll case.)
Having almost given up hope on finding anything, the Tormite decides not to turn his nose up at this moment of fortune. Pressing a gold coin into the hand of the shop boy, Utar starts storing his other scrolls in the scroll case.
