We can all do a starter post where they interact with their families and get ready for their first day of the academy to start while we wait for everyone to finish their characters up ^^ (If you want)
Zahira could hear her uncle downstairs tinkering away, Plash Etesian a water Genasi wearing bulky goggles and with a thin frame and a soft face. Large hazelnut eyes burning with curiosity for the unknown. It wasn't long before it was his nephew's birthday a sweet young boy but a bit sickly. This fact had left Zahiria to be the heir of her family as her parents were Holy Knights from Burguss after all. Living now with her uncle it was only a shame her brother lived with her parents still but at least he was only across town. Though it caused an interesting clash in these visits she'd visit still. Her parents had believed after all her uncle stole her away from her chivaric duties of knight hood.
"Hey! Zahiria! You up yet?! Don't wanna be late first day of school!"
Her uncle had yelled up the staircase while he began to tinker away.
Kuro Ryuzan
Uptown in Crystal Meadow valley was the Ryuzan manor a rather gaudy yet elegant manor that could be mistaken for a small castle. There was only one other manor in the quarter that came to draw that sort of attention. However that is not where our tale begins, a young Kuro Ryuzan who may certainly be dreading his first day of school. Reticent as he was his father was not home at the time. He knew why however, his mother had told his father to cool off. "Who couldn't be thrilled to be an adventurer?! " he had yelled this morning before leaving. He could only hear a soft knock on the door. One that he knew could only be his mothers.
"Love, I know what you're father says and I know he's eager to push you into shape. I don't agree with his methods nor his attitude but allow me to say this dear. I know you have the potential to be great and I hope you go out and make some friends!"
She said in a soft and rather nurturing tone she never once opened the door. Instead she had placed breakfast at the doorstep giving her son the time to prepare however he would need to this morning before heading off.
Zephyro Aethylmir
Zephyro's room had many books but even greater still was the unfilled paperwork, such things sent by his parents to teach him how to run small errands from Straus Haven. This is the Sword of Reason and one must use that sword to cut forward. Creating and crafting peace for the lands after all. Still, politics and magic and being stuck on a desk all day wasn't Zephyro's idea of making a difference. Zephyro might not even be sure if he wishes to make that difference one only had a single life and it was his life to live after all. He was told by his parents to seek out the wizard teacher Nathaniel Williams and to study under him and perhaps Zephyro may take heed of this "request." Though it was apparent from the callus on his hands and the hard work into his training what he wanted to do. In this morning he could hear a knock following a tune of a song and a soft giggle. He knew that this was his dearest sister Shaylin. Elegant, gifted with magic and could hold a subtle grace in every step only limited by the fact she was a wallflower scared of social interaction. However around her elder brother she could be herself but a bit more. Bubbly and happy and free, she didn't have to be so perfect around him after all.
"Hey doofus! You're going to be late for you're first day! Hey if you're skipping I think it is only fair I can miss my first day at Glimmering Shield. Perhaps we can head to the arcade instead dear brother?"
Zim Indigo Badabim
In the town Square was a home not so humble but not entirely gaudy either, a home to the young half Elf known as Zim. Just like many days his father was rather busy but his mother was hard at work to make a proper breakfast down below. Zim's mother picking up her crystal as she pulled out the keypad and began to text her son. "I've made you're favorite this morning, hurry on down before it gets cold." The home was filled with different works of art and instruments, though his father was stern he had indeed loved him. The family had shared a love for the arcane and the musical arts. His father moreso the arcane and his mother the musical arts.
OOC
I should mention two major things! Everyone has a "Crystal" these work a lot like cell phones with some major differences but if you have any questions let me know ^^
Also clothes are enchanted in this world to have the appearance of clothes.
Some people wear old school armor while others use these new Arcana Tech armor.
So if you use Scale Mail it can be in the form of a T Shirt. Putting on such outfits/clothes still takes time equal as described but only because the enchantment takes time to settle on the wearer. So a heavy armor user you're outfit is still heavy but you look to be wearing regular clothing.
Proper perception checks will aid you to discover if someone truly is wearing a normal shirt or an Arcana outfit.
It is very common for students to do this in Crystal Meadow Valley as many care about the appearance they have. (These are somewhat modern teens after all)
If anybody wants me to add/remove/edit anything about their starter post just let me know ^~^
Zephyro, who had started dosing off while at his desk jolts upright when his sister knocks on his door. He had neglected his meditation in an attempt to get the paperwork assigned to him by his parents finished before the first day of school. The problem was as soon as he finished them, his parents would just end up giving him more. Perhaps he should consider holding of on turning it in. Maybe then they'd lay off a bit. He certainly hopes they stop giving him as much now that school has started. That's right school has started. Smiling he pushes his glasses back into place and stands up. "Skipping is not an option my dear sister! Just give me a moment and I'll be ready!"After dressing as quickly as he can, (ignoring the cloths his parents had chosen for him) he gathers his things then opens the door. Looking down at his sister he says, "Heh, you really saved me there! Perhaps we can visit the arcade after school. If we manage to make it there on time that is." Grinning he ushers his sister down to the dining room to gab a bite to eat before heading out.
Kuro sits on his bed, staring at the sheets in front of him. He'd heard his father storm out earlier, but seems how the yelling and the slamming door was nothing new to him, he didn't flinch at the sound. Instead he rolled his eyes and flopped back on his pillow. Why? Just... why? He'd told Mother that he didn't want to go to this stupid academy, so why did he have to go? It seemed not even she could talk Father out of forcing him to attend...for all he knows Mother might want him to go anyways. As if meeting other kids would somehow be good for him. Huh, as if.
He rolls over when he hears the tap on his door, listening silently to his mother's words. Yup...she wanted him to go. He lets out a huff, waiting for her to leave. He knew it was rude of him...he should say something, shouldn't he? His thoughts took too long he realized, as he listened to her footsteps heading away from the door. He stares at the doorknob for a moment thinking, "Friends... sure."
He lays there for a while longer, lacking the desire to get up and get dressed. But, he knows that if he isn't out of the house by the time Father returns...well the lecture wouldn't be worth the satisfaction of showing up to school late. ...well...most likely. "Maybe I can just go down to the river when no one is looking. I doubt anyone at the academy will notice I'm gone..." He sits up, once more staring at the folds in his bedsheets. More then likely, Father would show up at the place to make sure he was signed up for all the right classes. With his luck, Father will make him take the hardest classes possible, as if the walk from home to the stupid place wasn't difficult enough. Hopefully Mother won't let him attempt that trek.
Sighing, he sluggishly takes off his pajamas and wriggles into his cloths. Sighing, he pulls a black sweatshirt over his head and covers his head with the hood, cinching it tight around his chin. He takes a moment to stare into the mirror over his dresser, noting how pale his face is from lack of sunlight...not to mention the purple spots under his eyes from...well just how tired he always seems to be. Great, just another reason for kids to pick on him... not that he really cared what others thought, but if push comes to shove he knows who will end up on the ground covered in bruises. So annoying. He pulls his hood lower over his face, letting his dark hair partially hide his eyes. He does this knowing full well that if mother notices she will tell him that hiding won't get others to like him. Well, if it makes her feel better he'll lower the hood long enough to get to school. After that, its going right back up again.
Finally, he opens the door noting the food on the doorstep. Oh...he hadn't even thought about eating. With another sigh, he picks up the meal and takes it inside. He isn't really hungry...and will likely just throw it up anyways. So he takes an apple and stuffs it in his pocket before quietly scraping the rest of the food off the plate and out the window... the cats will find it... no one will notice.
Once that's done, he opens the door again and walks out. He knows better then to hope for the best, so he just accepts that this day is going to be a bad one.

Zephyro
Zephyro could hear a loud sigh, one strong enough to invoke the image of some rather powerful pouting even across the door.
"Ahh you're such a nerd! Hehe, fine fine I guess I'll try my best at school too. Though I'm not excited to interact with others honestly.. Ya know what I mean? How do you do it anyway? Talk to others?"
The two had began to headway downstairs to see a rather elven father at the table. Juggling between his crystal texting and a side of heavy paper work and on the corner of the table was a small magical scroll he had appeared to be working on. The elven woman had seen this and had given a light sigh to the man's lack of care towards his food. Though the two were dressed sharp and she was no better as she began to take calls from her own crystal with the usual talk of business.
"Ahh yes Gawain I know you didn't want to talk before but hear me out now. Our son would love to meet you're daughter, say tomorrow evening? I think it'd behoove us well to perhaps catch up. The Aethylmir's and the Chevalier's do much for Crystal Meadow's anyway. Ahh.. I see you're busy with Mr Woodheart we'll text me whenever you've a spare moment sir Gawain and good day.
"Trying to hook brother up with another noble lady? You know he hates that."
"Hook up.. Shaylin? I hope you do better to watch you're vernacular at school dear."
As her father had perked up behind his papers she had begun to cast her gaze downward with a small sigh.
"Y-Yes father..."
Her voice meek as she had instead opted to not eat breakfast, she had pulled her crystal out instead and begun to text her dear brother. "Could we perhaps.. Just head out right away instead? Is that okay.. I can eat breakfast at school."
Kuro
16
(A roll for something in the background you'll see)
After Kuro had poured his meal out only keeping a single apple on his person he was able to make his way to school. It was certainly a bit of a walk across town and more so for one who avoided going outside. Seeing out on the streets as people drove buy in their vehicles fueled by elemental rune energy it was easy to envy those driving to school today. Though perhaps his father would tell him that walking to school would help one build character.
Zim
Zim had opted away from breakfast after his brief interaction with his mother, Selena Badabim that was her maiden name and one she had in fact kept. One she had even passed down to her son for that matter perhaps it was because she was a proud woman. She sent him a text on her crystal "If anyone from Burguss or Straus says anything about you being a half elf just let me know okay? I know you don't want me to worry but so help me if I find out and you were radio silent on the matter I'll be livid."
Zim/Kuro/Zephryo's
All three were separate students and all three had made it to the school courtyard with time to spare. Kuro with his hood up and the other two as well. Many students could be seen talking among each other. A few students had really stuck out, a orc and a human with blonde hair and blue eyes both were letterman jackets. The Rising Dawn's mascot was that of a dragon. Some kids were in a hurry to sign up for class and others were more engaged with socializing or exploring. The blonde man had a girl at his side these students seemed a few years older certainly not freshman and this woman seemed to have draconic like scales on her arm. She was in a really showy dress with her hair all done up almost as if she was preparing for some sorta beauty pageant.
OOC
I didn't add Zahira to the last bit as to give her some time to do her opening ^~^
Also I'll be doing lots of random die rolls to spice up certain things (Some I may do IRL but they are just like who you may run into at a certain place not like an ability check just DM stuff)
Also go ahead and describe how you enter the school! If you stealth or try to play up a showy entrance.
For stealth of course roll stealth to be unnoticed by other students or a showy entrance roll raw charisma check that sorta thing ^^
Also since Aroc can't make a sheet yet I shall let him roll a flat roll and add a D4 to his rolls for social encounters until he can make the sheet (He has to wait before he can leave another campaign first since he's at the six limit damn you DDB! XD)
Kuro recieves a buzz by his crystal "Did you dump you're food out.. AGAIN? Baby.. I love you but I am getting sick of all these stray cats mewling around our home like some sort of secret meeting place for the feline!"
OOC So that roll was Kuro's mom and it was for her perception lmao xD
Kuro glares at the cars...it seems his mother isn't going to come to his rescue. Oh well, if he dies halfway to the academy that means he just doesn't have to show up. He keeps his head down as he walks down the street. He'd left a lot earlier then he'd intended to, so maybe if he walked slowly he'd still end up late. Then again...being late would just draw unwanted attention to himself so maybe that wasn't the best idea.
Feeling the crystal in his pocket buzz, he pulls it out only to roll his eyes at his mother's message. "You want me to have friends right? Well the cats are my friends, I like them." He holds the crystal away from his ear just a little, ready to put it away if he doesn't receive a response.
When he finally makes it to campus, he is breathing heavily and his legs are burning. He takes a few moments at the entrance to catch his breath, sure that if anyone noticed him huffing and puffing they were bound to say something to him. It feels like ages before he can breath normally again. His chest still burns, but that was bearable. Still, he looks down the pathway filled with students and immediately finds himself dreading the day even more then he had that morning. Oh well, might as well get it over with.
Stuffing his hands in his pockets, he starts walking towards the building. If he has to sign up for classes then he may as well go there first...hopefully Father hadn't already beaten him to it. Then again, at least that would save him the trouble of picking some. He just walks down the path, trusting that his hoodie and posture would be enough to keep people from bothering him. Trying to blend in wasn't going to work, so all he can do is just walk and hope that everyone ignores him.
"Oh, making fun of my glasses again are you?" He gives her a playful shove, "Just be yourself Shaylin. Don't worry about trying to act the way Mother and Father say you should. I can tell from experience that you are an absolute joy to be around...most of the time." He replies, the last line clearly a joke.
Upon seeing his parents, the cheerful expression on the young elf's face quickly vanishes. He was hoping they would have left already to go do whatever noble business they needed to do today. He really hopes they are to busy to notice that he neglected to meet their dress code. He'd at least brought the jacket they had 'recommended' but other than that, he had opted for some clothing that is a lot less...flashy. He doesn't mind dressing nicely, but some of the things his mother buys for him are far too gaudy in his opinion. He'd likely ditch the jacket as soon as he leaves. Under the jacket he wears a long-sleeved dark blue shirt, which still clearly marks him as a noble, but is far easier to move around in than most of the other cloths in his closet.
Rolling his eyes at his mother's conversation, he grabs an apple and some cheese. Just before he sits down he feels his crystal vibrate. Pulling it out, he sees his sister's text and quickly responds. "Of course. Let's find Mr. Nelson and get going."
Grabbing another apple for his sister, he quickly looks around for their butler. Mr. Nelson had said he would drive them after all.
Before hopping out of the car, Zephyro hands his sister the apple. "Have a good day and try to make some friends!" Waving goodby to Mr. Nelson, he gives his sister a smile before hefting his backpack over his shoulder and walking towards the school. The young elf sighs. Finally, some space where his parents can't hold him under their thumbs. Glancing around, he looks for where he can sign up for classes. There will be time to socialize later. He'll have to ask Professor Williams if he can just audit the classes as he has no intention of becoming a wizard... well at least not anytime soon if he can help it.

Just before entering the courtyard, Zim checked his crystal and saw that his mother had sent a text. Without hesitation he sent her back "You're such a worry wart XD" Don't worry, I've seen some of these kids,. I don't think there is anything to worry about." Taking a deep breath, he strolled into the courtyard with his head held high. This was where he would prove himself to his father!
Zim felt so elated that he hadn't noticed the bounce in his step and the whistle on his lips. The tune was a family favorite. He stopped when he noticed a number of the other kids looking at him.
... "Hey! Zahira! You up yet?! Don't wanna be late first day of school!"...
Zahira heard her uncle's voice in the midst of her sleep and woke up suddenly to see there was abundant sunlight in her room, which could only mean one thing.
"OOOOOH, OH OH OH. Oh gods. Oh gods oh gods oh gods. Is it that time already!? Shit!!"
She heard a muffled "Zahira, language!!" from downstairs as she started to prepare herself in a rush, in the hopes of not arriving too late.
The genasi teenager slapped her face a couple of times to activate herself and rubbed her eyes. Upon doing this, her hands felt two things that shouldn't have been there: the first, she had a piece of paper in her forehead. The second, the mark of a gear imprinted in her cheek. Zahira had been working until so late she had fallen asleep over all the papers and gears and metallic pieces she and her uncle needed to prepare for her brother's upcomming birthday. She had been working in the workshop downstairs all day, but had brought some of the parts to her room to continue a little more on her own.
She threw the paper away, and didn't worry about the gear mark - as it would go away from her skin later in the morning - then took a look at her clothes and thought "nope, definitely no time to change clothes!". Luckily, she was an air genasi, and the constant faint breeze that surrounded her stirred her long white hair and clothes in a way that she always looked fresh and clean. Still, she was a teenage girl, and as such, she cared about her appearance. So she took a quick glance in a mirror to check her pale blue with a pinch of gray tint skin, still sleepy light blue eyes, and her hair. Then adjusted the loose white shirt and the black corset-like belt and cropped jacket she wore with it.
- Well, I don't have more time so this will have to do.
Fortunately, uncle Plash had made her prepare her backpack with the basics the day before, so Zahira only had to take it before rushing downstairs, grab a sanwich her uncle handed her while he muttered "Unbelievable, girl. Overslept on your very first day?", kiss him on the cheek and run through the door.
Eating and running was not really a good combination, so the girl nearly choked twice, but she finally managed to finish the sandwich and reach the academy, panting and almost falling to the ground exhausted when she crossed the entrance to the courtyard.
- Ok, ok, ok... not so late .... you made it, Zahira ...- she said to herself, and to whoever could be standing next to her when the genasi made her rushed entry.
OOC:
I see you made my uncle a water genasi! And I think that is perfect because I was thinking that it was unnecessary that all my family are the same kind of genasi, though I'm an air one. My mother can be an air genashi and my father/uncle water genasi, for example. So fine by me ^^ That being said, the surname I took is the name of a wind. So maybe the house founder should have been an air one?
Btw, I don't know if this would solve Aroc's problem entirely, but maybe an unassigned character can be created directly in the campaign and then he can claim it?
(I suppose I should say how Zephyro entered the school.)
The young elf strides across the courtyard while he looks for the place to sign up for classes. He carries himself with an air of confidence, he does not make an obvious attempt to be noticed, he figures the simple fact that he's a noble will get him plenty of attention later whether he wants it or not. However, he doesn't try to avoid other students either he offers a friendly smile and a wave to anyone who greets him.
He looks kinda like this just minus the earring and with elf ears lol.
He's just trying to act friendly so here's a strait Charisma check: 18
When Zahira catches her breath she takes a look around, not sure what to do. Maybe someone has explained all these students what to do while she was still on her way to the Academy?
She suddenly notices a confident looking elf who seems to know his way around pretty well, so she does not waste time and runs to him.
- Hey! Hello! Sorry! I've just arrived and I'm not really sure where to go and who to talk to. Are you new here, too? My name is Zahira- she extends her hand to greet the elf - Can you please help me? Oooor I could just follow you, haha! - she looks nervously at him. She should probably have payed more attention when Uncle Plash gave her indications, but she had been just too busy messing around in the workshop.
OOC:
Seeing Zephyro's last post, I'm catching up with him!
Zephyro is a little surprised when the nervous looking air genasi runs up to him. However, he smiles and and takes her extended hand shaking it firmly. "As a matter of fact yes, I am new here. My name is Zephyro Aethylmir." He almost bows before stopping himself. This isn't a formal noble meeting so drop the formalities idiot!Releasing her hand, he touches his glasses as if checking that they are still in place. "I'm on my way to sign up for classes. While i don't really know my way around here, I'm going to guess that's the place." He gestures to wherever the students are signing up for classes.
(I'm going to assume his perception was high enough to see the right place? Especially since he was probably told where to go.)
- Aethylmir...? Oh, wow!- Zahira seems shocked when she recognizes the famous family name - I should probably be bowing or something, not assaulting you with so many questions. I'm sorry - she says, but doesn't bow and just stands there a little awkwardly, hoping she hasn't messed up in the literal minute she has spent in her new school.
"Indeed, I should have listened a little more to Uncle Plash. And my parents, for that matter, they sure would be in dismay right now if they saw me".
- Aaaanyway, yes, please, let me accompany you. I really just need to sort myself out and relax a little. I overslept and had to run like a pack of rabbid hounds was chasing me to get here on time, hahaha!
"Really? Rabbid hounds? For god's sake, girl. Why don't you just shut up and follow him. Silently", she thinks.
Containing a facepalm, Zahira just follows Zephyro, hoping he doesn't think she is too crazy. Or weird. Or both.
OOC:
DM, correct me if I'm wrong but I would recognize the surname right? And my family is noble, but maybe not so much as Zephyro's?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zephyro
Me? A joy to be around? Surely you jest.
She had chuckled lightly as she offered a light shove back to her brother. Sticking her tongue out at him when he had stated "most of the time" she was grateful to see a text from her brother. Mr Nelson as friendly as always had offered the siblings a ride to the school, true as a butler it was his job but it was clear he enjoyed watching over the children.
I can't promise I'll make friends.. But I'll try! Have a good day!
With that Zephyro had felt his crystal buzz again a message from his father. "You may be meeting Nimue Chevalier's daughter, Gwen Chevalier, the details are uncertain but it will be within the week. I expect you to look you're best when the time comes and do try to be on you're best behavior while the Chevalier's are over.
As Zephyro's looks around the school with a sharp sense of perception he can see the orc tripping over another kid. A small goblin with glasses and a orange cat over his shoulder. The goblin had gotten back up looking around unsure of the cause of his fall. Walking into the school the orc had given a laugh to the other two. Zephyro's also could see a half elf make a rather impressive entrance with a masterfully performed tune. Though a simple whistle it held that of a professional performer and was certainly delightful as it caught a few heads! Zephyro's as he made his way any waves he had offered to those had pleasantly done so in return. He even had a few girls giggling as they quickly paced on by.
He had received a text from his pen pal, her pen pal name being "Twilight princess" but she enjoyed Twilight. "Hey! Are you still in Straus Haven? I wanted to say good luck at the academy in Straus! I start school today myself!"
Zim
Zim had entered the school court yard and though a simple whistle it had held itself with grace and a few kids had even stopped talking to look over to the half elf. One of the kids, he had strange ram like horns. He had taken a flute from his backpack as he walked beside Zim and began to play along trying to match his tune and beat.
(Student's performance)
10
A few of the kids had begun to dance and try to sing along, were they bards? Or simply people who enjoyed music? A few of the girls giggling and some of the guys laughing off a few dorky moves here or there. The goblin tripped before had lifted his head hung low as it was, in front of the school doors as he began to clap along waving at Zim. The draconian beauty queen had scoffed, though she had scales across her body she had a very human appearance. It was clear she was indeed human despite the scales, she had however even dolled her scales up with glitter and make up. She had walked over to Zim with a brimming smile and a strong stride.
"Hey cute song! I think you're already starting to trend!"
She pointed as a few kids were already starting to record this on their crystals, she had offered a light giggle brushing her hair behind her ear. Offering her hand out forward.
"Penelope Drake but you can call me Penny if that's easier! You must be a first year I don't recognize you around here. I'm guessing you're heading to a bard class with talent like that huh?"
Zahira
Zahira had made her way to school, her uncle of course more than willing to put his work down and drive her. However before he could clean his desk up she was gone, perhaps she was sure he wouldn't clean up quick enough? He was as bad as her after all, he'd get lost in his work and perhaps running to school was the wisest course of action.
She came in time to see an orc trip over this goblin, but before anything could be said or done it seemed.. Like the school was becoming a strange sorta musical? Many kids had begun to follow suit by this half elf. He appeared to be a first year same as she, but it didn't seem any teachers were in the courtyard at least not as of yet.
Zahiria/Zephryo's
If Zahiria is willing to follow, it appears Zephyro was able to find his class throughout the school. Nathaniel William's wizard class. The teacher had peeked his head out the door
(His appearance above)
He had a few piercing upon his ears and a few rings as well but his robes were certainly what kids would call nowadays as "Old school" he was clearly not caught up on current times. Or it was simply the fact he hadn't cared too. He had peered over the two students with an eye raised.
Are you two entering my class per chance? You'd be the first wizards heading in. Being first years you'll have to sign up. Here is the clip board, will you be taking an audit or taking it as a primary class?
(To take as a primary class you must have a level in wizard)
He had handed them both a clipboard as he pulled his slender fingers away. His expression was rather monotone and his voice was rather tired.
Kuro
Kuro's mom had simply sent him a little face, one had shown a woman giving out a sigh. Amaji's the kids called them and it was clear his mother knew didn't know how to use them because she had added a strange looking dog amaji. The dog appeared to be chasing a butterfly? It was confusing to say the least.
As Kuro made his way to the school he could see the orc knock this goblin over. He could also see the cascade of music beginning to open around an upbeat half elf. He didn't receive much attention upon entering, probably to his relief in that moment. If he would make his way in he' may begin his search for the sorcerer class.(Roll me perception and if the claim a character idea suggested doesn't seem easy just add a D4 to it ^^ or he can look for something else instead lol)
OOC I like the adding the uncle saying language but with the NPC's if you have any request for you're post or something just let me know first ^~^
But we can keep it in that post as it was a small thing, just in case though cause I've plot lines with the NPC's and you're families >3
Oh I could create an unassigned character for Aroc and he could tell me what stats he wants and than he could claim it yes.
Also sure the head (You're mother) can be an Air Genasi and you're father a water genasi and his brother (You're uncle) a water genasi.
Zahira saw the orc and the goblin encounter, and also how suddenly there was music everywhere around a half-elf boy. But she left all of that in the corner of her mind as she decided to follow Zephyro.
She looked a bit confused when the wizard teacher offered her the clipboard:
-Oh... I'm sorry, I've made a mistake - she says, before turning to Zephyro - I've followed you without even thinking you could be signing for another class. Sorry ...- then turns to the teacher again and continues - I need to sign for artificer's classes. Could you please tell me where must I go to do that?
Nathaniel had looked upon Zahira and had given a slight nod to her plight.
"That is to be no problem at all, you are in good hands with the artificer teacher. Her classroom is not far from here. I asked Silas to give the kids a map around here but he told me that wasn't very "adventurous" for an adventuring academy. Heh, and they say I am stuck in the times before. Would he rather the kids meet at a tavern and embark on a strange and dangerous quest with a group of complete strangers?"
If Zahiria will heed Nathaniel's instructions she will come to a room that states "Artificery" and the teachers name underneath that plate being. "Solice Geyser."Inside was a woman humming along as she began to mix together different chemical agents. She had strange fox like tails blooming from her dress it was hard to say exactly what she was.
Zahira cocked her head at professor Nathaniel's comment, imagining the situation.
- Starting an adventure in a ... tavern? That would be weird! - and she gave a slight laugh, not wanting to say much more because, well, joking with the Wizard professor that had seemed a bit serious initially was totally unexpected for her - Thank you so very much. I will run for the Artificer room like wind! Erm... no pun intended...
She was about to leave when she remembered something. Turning back to Zephyro, she said:
- Thank you for your help, too. Perhaps we could meet later? Seeing that you're the only student I know here, maybe we could just ... you know ... meet again? We could share how our first classes went. Here! This is my number - she showed him her Crystal so he could capture the number- And my full name is Zahira Etesian, if you want to add it to your contact list. Well, good luck, Zephyro! Nice meeting you.
She waved goodbye at both Zephyro and Nathaniel and ran to her class. Upon arriving, she entered the class to find the teacher busy mixing some chemicals and didn't want to startle her in the process - she knew better than to do so after some ...let's say... unfortunate events at her Uncle's house - so she said in a veeeeeery calmed voice:
- Ermmm... hello? Professor Geyser? Zahira Etesian here. I would like to sign up for your class.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kuro rolls his eyes at his mother's attempt to use the amajis, and stuffs the crystal back into his pocket.
He doesn't spare a glance for the goblin, deciding that it wasn't worth possibly becoming the brunt of the orc's next prank. He does however shoot a passive look towards the half-elf before shaking his head. "What a show off," he thinks, continuing forwards. He looks around for the sorcerer class, dreading the idea of possibly having to try using spells. With his luck he'd set the whole place on fire...which he wouldn't lie, actually sounded appealing at the moment.
(OOC: I think I'll just wait until my slot opens up for now. Unless it seems like my other thread is going to take to long. ;). Thanks though!)

Oh yeah, and here is the pic I chose for him...
Just picture him in a hoodie and more run down. :)

Our thread!
We can all do a starter post where they interact with their families and get ready for their first day of the academy to start while we wait for everyone to finish their characters up ^^ (If you want)
Zahira Etesian
Just give me a moment and I'll be ready!" After dressing as quickly as he can, (ignoring the cloths his parents had chosen for him) he gathers his things then opens the door.
OOC
So that roll was Kuro's mom and it was for her perception lmao xD
(OOC: Thanks!)
OOC
I shall wait for Zahira so she doesn't get too left behind but so far I am loving these openings ^^
Zim and Zyphro's feel free to write you're intros into the school still ^~^
"Oh, making fun of my glasses again are you?" He gives her a playful shove, "Just be yourself Shaylin.
Perception: 19
Just before entering the courtyard, Zim checked his crystal and saw that his mother had sent a text. Without hesitation he sent her back "You're such a worry wart XD" Don't worry, I've seen some of these kids,. I don't think there is anything to worry about." Taking a deep breath, he strolled into the courtyard with his head held high. This was where he would prove himself to his father!
Zim felt so elated that he hadn't noticed the bounce in his step and the whistle on his lips. The tune was a family favorite. He stopped when he noticed a number of the other kids looking at him.
Could this be a performance?

... "Hey!

- Ok, ok, ok... not so late .... you made it, Zahira ... - she said to herself, and to whoever could be standing next to her when the genasi made her rushed entry.

My name is Zahira - she extends her hand to greet the elf - Can you please help me? Oooor I could just follow you, haha! - she looks nervously at him. She should probably have payed more attention when Uncle Plash gave her indications, but she had been just too busy messing around in the workshop.
OOC:
Seeing Zephyro's last post, I'm catching up with him!

Zephyro is a little surprised when the nervous looking air genasi runs up to him. However, he smiles and and takes her extended hand shaking it firmly. "As a matter of fact yes, I am new here. My name is Zephyro Aethylmir." He almost bows before stopping himself. This isn't a formal noble meeting so drop the formalities idiot! Releasing her hand, he touches his glasses as if checking that they are still in place. "I'm on my way to sign up for classes. While i don't really know my way around here, I'm going to guess that's the place." He gestures to wherever the students are signing up for classes.
(I'm going to assume his perception was high enough to see the right place? Especially since he was probably told where to go.)
"You're welcome to accompany me if you wish."
- Aethylmir...? Oh, wow! - Zahira seems shocked when she recognizes the famous family name - I should probably be bowing or something, not assaulting you with so many questions.

Zephyro
OOC
I like the adding the uncle saying language but with the NPC's if you have any request for you're post or something just let me know first ^~^
But we can keep it in that post as it was a small thing, just in case though cause I've plot lines with the NPC's and you're families >3
Sorry ... - then turns to the teacher again and continues - I need to sign for artificer's classes. Could you please tell me where must I go to do that?
OOC:
Understood! Thanks

"Solice Geyser." Inside was a woman humming along as she began to mix together different chemical agents.
Here! This is my number - she showed him her Crystal so he could capture the number - And my full name is Zahira Etesian, if you want to add it to your contact list.
