The Call of Lon-Dia

(OOC: You can only use your endurance for one attack, so we'll apply it to the highest damaging one, you reduce your damage by 9.)

Stone rushes in and stabs the Kobold in front of the door (kobold 1) with his long sword.

Attack=11

Damage = 6

If the Kobold dies Stone will move forward to block the door.

Stone: You swing at the kobold in front of you, but your sword whiffs over the creature's head.

Penelope, you're up.

Penelope will cast magic missile at second level. She'll send three missiles toward kobold(#8) at the end of the hall, and the last one to the kobold on her right.

Kobold(#8) Damage: 8

Kobold(#6) Damage: 2

Penelope: Your magic missiles annihilate the kobold to the north, and leave the kobold next to you severely injured.

Natasha, your turn.

(Natasha tries to help Jacob and takes a shot at the strongest looking Kobold near him.)

Attack: 18 Damage: 6 + Sneak Attack Damage: 6

Natasha: With the southern kobolds' attention focused on Jacob, you are able to drop one with an arrow to the back of the head. It's dead before it knows what happened.

Jacob, you are up.

"Much obliged!" Jacob calls out as he swings twice at the hardiest looking of the two in front of him:

Bread: Attack: 10 Damage: 4

Butter: 16 Damage: 6

(OOC: sigh)

Jacob: You swing at the kobold directly south of you. It parries Bread, but you cut deeply with Butter. It falls over, dead. 

(OOC: Is it wrong that every time you use Bread & Butter I picture Jacob trying to force-feed the monsters, like he's trying to make them choke?)

Jacob: The only remaining kobold near you attacks, intent on avenging his fallen comrades.

Kobold 4 vs Jacob: Attack: 10 Damage: 4

 Watching its friends die gives it the strength to nail you with its blade.

Penelope: The kobold next to you attacks you with his dagger.

Kobold 6 vs Penelope (pack tactics): Attack: 7 Damage: 5

                                                                  Attack: 21 Damage: 4

 Although it has the confidence that superior numbers provide, it still manages to miss you.

Stone: The kobold just outside the door stabs at you.

Kobold 1 vs Stone (pack tactics): Attack: 17 Damage: 6

                                                           Attack: 12 Damage: 3

It finds a weak spot in your armor and slipped its dagger in.

Natasha: The kobold in the door runs around his comrade and stands just south of Stone. He pulls his dagger and thrusts it at you.

Kobold 12 vs Natasha (pack tactics): Attack: 13 Damage: 3

                                                                   Attack: 19 Damage: 4

 You feel the sting of the dagger as it cuts your arm.

Stone: Another kobold charges out of the door, flanks, and attacks you.

Kobold 11 vs Stone (pack tactics): Attack: 8 Damage: 6

                                                              Attack: 11 Damage: 4

 The Kobold stabs you deeply in the side, it pulls its blade out and smiling a toothy grin at you.

The final kobold (9), turns and runs away from the party. It climbs over the barricade and dashes towards the room's north west corner. It disappears beyond the view of the party.

Stone, you're up.

Stone lays his hands upon Natasha and heals her for 10hp worth of damage.

Stone: You place a hand on Natasha's shoulder and the both of you glow with a heavenly light. When the light fades, she looks healthier and more refreshed.

Penelope, you're up.

Penelope will suck in air, puffing out her chest before releasing her cold breath upon the three kobolds(1,11, and12) behind her.(15ft cone)

Con Save DC11, take 8 cold damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.

 Penelope: The three kobolds recognize what you are doing and try to brace themselves for the incoming cold front.

Kobold 1 Con Save: 11 (4 damage)

Kobold 11 Con Save: 19 (4 damage)

Kobold 12 Con Save: 7 (9 damage)

They are all enveloped in intense cold. One of them succumbs to the deep freeze and falls over, frozen in the position it held when it was hit. While the other two survived, they are barely on their feet.

Natasha, you're up.

"You're a true gentleman, Stone. Thanks!"

(Natasha grins as she feels her battle wounds heal up. She uses her Shortsword to try to take out one of the Kobolds near her party.)

OOC: Are any of them full health? If they are, Natasha will attack that one, if not she'll just attack the closest one.

Attack: 6 Damage: 4 + Sneak Attack Damage: 5

(OOC: None of the melee range kobolds are at full health.)

Natasha: You stab at one of the kobolds near you. It is so concerned about fighting Penelope, that it never sees you coming. It collapses from the wound you gave it.

Jacob, you're up.

(OOC: Ha! I like it, especially with the "spur" this style of blade has. I can imagine him trying to drive that through some mouth holes :)

Jacob grimaces at the little one's well-placed dagger stab and swings to impale the little dragon thing on the spur of Bread:

Attack: 23 Damage: 6

If that hits he'll run up to (11) and swing Butter at that kobold, if not he'll stay "south" and swing at (4) again:

Attack: 11 Damage: 9

(Normally I'd be trepidatious about splitting up the two-weapon fighting like that, but a recent issue of Deep Dive had a Wizards rule-guy on that clarified it as kosher. But you're this game's DM, so let me know if it's no bueno)

(OOC: Sounds kosher to me.)

Jacob: Bread swings down and through the kobold's torso. You run up to one of the remaining kobolds and slash Butter, but it ducks out of the way.

Penelope: The kobold just south of you stabs at you with its dagger.

Kobold 1 vs Penelope (pack tactics): Attack: 12 Damage: 5

                                                                  Attack: 21 Damage: 3

Its dagger finds a home in your leg. It lets out a little squeal of joy.

Stone: The other kobold slashes at you viciously. 

Kobold 11 vs Stone (pack tactics): Attack: 23 Damage: 3

                                                              Attack: 7 Damage: 4

Its slash bounces off your shield.
